It also seems that firmware updates on more recent models have removed the option to de-restrict to achieve the higher top speed - The benefits for 16 year olds and those who passed their full driving test in the UK before 1st Feb 2001 still stand! And these really are fantastic commuter motorbikes for anyone who moves around busy towns and cities.
