To be fair, Obito was right in that Naruto could have EASILY became like him. There where a few times where his rage and hatred got the better of him, but fortunately he always had someone who pulled him up or out of it. Obito and most others didnt :/
He didn't because Pain revived everyone. He forgave Pain at first, but the losses would eventually make him bitter. Also, he would 'truly' understand Sasuke's pain.
No wonder, But both becamed opposites of their destiny, No wonder also Naruto cried for Obito, I mean as much as Naruto had same links with everyone he encountered, Obito was perhaps the only one who shown him the highiest example alike, Obito was always alone and nobody respected him since people considered him an embarassement of the Uchiha clan, But Rin was the only one who gaved him strong support no matter how not great he does, And he also wanted to become Hokage so that everyone can stop disrespecting him and treating like if he was somebody important, Until all things changed, And this is exactly like how Naruto was back then but never give evil in, And if Obito would of becamed the 5th Hokage, Well not only the Uchiha probably wouldn't be massacred, But also as Hokage, He would have full power on the Uchiha clan even Fugaku as he would prevent him from his "Coup D'etat" And it would of changed a whole lot of things, As we know, Naruto and Obito are so alike, Even Sasuke and Kakashi, However, Naruto and Kakashi has never given in the evil since they have people close to them, While Sasuke and Obito, Were in despair of the world and wants to obtain power to change the entire world since both are from the Uchiha clan, And since the day Itachi got killed, Obito planned to help Sasuke by giving him power in such negotiations, However, The highiest level of power like Rinnegan, he wants to keep it himself if he wants to be Madara's true sucessor and act like one so he can accomplish the goal he has been tasked for and prepared everything eversince 17 years
Hiluminatu l but Naruto is kind of dumb, whereas obito and kakashi were both actually one of the smartest characters in the series (top 10 I’d say). And obito is an uchiha, also Kakashi’s most strongest jutsus are all sharingan related and that belonged to obito. So there are many dissimilarities as well as similarities. That’s what I love about naruto
Unlike naruto vs sasuke final, kakashi and obito weren't relying on "out-powering" the other, but they were relying on outsmarting. You see all the tactics, especially when obito uses the kunai+cloth as a decoy, while kakashi uses the lightning clone. The coolest part to me though was when obito was using kakashi's hand to do handsigns. That was super bad-ass and unexpected when i first watched this before.
But Sasuke did use strategy in his fight against Naruto. One of the key moves that he did was he kept stopping Naruto from using his Shadow Clone Jutsu because he knew that was his crutch move.
This fight is made even better imo by the fact that Obito arranged the whole thing in order to get rid of the curse seal on his heart. He knew Kakashi would use the chidori to pierce his heart. That would destroy the curse seal Madara placed on it to control him. There are so many levels of sadness and greatness to that. Starting from Obito knowing Kakashi would try to kill him the same way Kakashi killed Rin, and Obito relying on Kakashi to free himself.

This scene is the epitome of a perfect emotional scene in anime history. No matter how many time you watch the emotions flow, makes you feel like a badass even with tears in your eyes. Feels like i watched 100s of episodes of Naruto just for this satisfying fight.
And the part where Obito pushes down his younger self hurts more and more knowing what hell he went through and how far he had come in the path of darkness, timeless indeed
Unlike most of the Japanese dub peasants who only like it because they watched it first. I personally think Obito's voice in English did sound 100% better than the Japanese voice.
Watching the fight scene alone, as awesome as it was, made me realise that this scene is amazing not just because of the awesome choreography, but because of the connection that Obito and Kakashi has. As the arc progresses, it fleshes out a complex love/hate relationship of life and death between the two, the emotional pain that they suffered in conjunction with one another, tangled fates and mirror images. Not only did they battle with eachother, they battled with themselves, pandimensionally, physically and mentally, till the raw anguish accumulates to these glorious few minutes of climax in a battle with intent to kill, which sent shivers down my spine when I watched the episode. This rivalry eclipses the Naruto and Sasuke rivalry in the end.
This fight is beautifully choreographed and stunning. Movements were so fast and fluid. Having the past and present connect in the fight made me cry a little and even more so when Obito pushes himself (younger) down. The use of ordinary ninja tools was just pleasing to watch here. At 2:13 the sound of the kunai flinging in the air and how Kakashi catches it back hand was satisfying. They both didn’t use any flashy jutsu in this fight and having Obito manipulating Kakashi’s hand was so cool. Overall it’s definitely the best (if not, one of the best) fighting scenes of the Naruto Series.
This fight will forever be one of my favorites regardless of any anime. So intense, so well done, I love the POV segment as if you were seeing the fight through their eyes, I mean even the art was perfect. Yet over all this, the fight captured the emotions so deeply. Ultimately that is what makes it so beautiful.
1. the guilt and pain in kakashi for how things turned out vs the hate in obito for the same. 2. the genius of kishimoto’s story telling is seen when he chose to make this fight in their shared kamui dimension. it is a struggle intimate to just the both of them about the same events they suffered but chose to react with vastly different responses. 3. this is masterpiece.
There is nice detail at the beginning of the fight. When Kakashi did the hand sign obito did the same. This sign means hand to hand combat. Even though obito was a rogue ninja for almost 30 years, he didn't forget the meaning of this sign. This means he really cares to beat his teammate and recover his lose in the past. There is really a lot behind this detail.
I like how the music is suppose to symbolize how kakashi is truly feeling when fighting someone who he concidered a friend and his memories are flashbacks of the obito he once knew and how their fighting style had not changed except his personality
The pain this series has left us with is unbearable 😭😭😭. Kakashi mindset is so damn accurate, no matter what condition what situation he is, he always knows clearly what needs to be done then. Even though if it's killing your only childhood friend/comrade.
It crushes my heart just how maniacal and so gone Obito had become. Some of my favorite scenes from Naruto are the Team Minato flashbacks where Obito was a kind, goofy kid who constantly bickered with Kakashi and Kushina. It’s difficult to reconcile that image of him with the person he is now. I imagine it must’ve been heartbreaking for his past friends to have the memory of Obito, the neighborhood-kid-loved-by-grannies, shattered when they saw him on the opposite side of the battlefield.
Obito wanted Kakashi to actually stab his heart to remove the curse tag placed by Madara in Obito's heart. The same was done to Rin also. Even though he was donutted, it actually benefitted Obito. Madara sarcastically says "it's funny how both of you got rid of it in the same way". That's when Obito understood he was played with by Madara. These minute details is what makes Naruto anime the greatest of all
Bravo. I finished the series a decade ago and only continued with the manga. I learned of this fight in the animation. This is the culmination of great story telling. Not Naruto Vs Sasuske, it was this. Kakashi was always some of the most developed characters. I am so happy the animators really appreciated the importance of this particular battle. bravo
As Madara revealed later, this fight merely helped Obito precisely because Kakashi stabbed him through the heart. Madara had placed a curse mark on his heart to control him with that if Obito ever tried to betray him. The strike erased that mark.
what I always wondered tho is how the fuck is he alive when he _literally has no heart_ lol Haku died instantly and Kakuzu "died" in just a few seconds from similar wounds.
+Kuririnite 1. Anime logic. 2. Obito Survived the entire half of his body being crushed due to Hashirama's cells comprising half of his body (attached later). What I can understand is that Hashirama's cells and chakra are "rich in life and physical energy". I'm guessing that allowed him to hang on for a few moments, enough to suck in the 10 tails. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine.
More than anything, I appreciate that we have here a Naruto clip that doesn’t cut every 10 seconds and deliberately exclude the best parts of the scene that everyone clicked on it for in the first place. Nice.
Obito let Kakashi deliberatly hit him with the chidori just to remove Madara's seal on his heart, he knows that the damaged part of his body will regenerate again through the regeneration ability of the rinnegan. this anime is full of hidden details you'll discover even after you finish it. Best anime in HISTORY.
I really wish shonen series had more combat like this and less beam spam, transformations, magic tricks, gratuitous no-selling of attacks, miraculous recoveries and the like. Just good ol' hand to hand combat and fisticuffs. The is probably the one frill-less fight in the latter half of Naruto and a strong contender for the best.
I hate it when people say this stuff like this and act like the transformations, magic tricks and etc.. Isn't what make shonen popular in the first place, you're acting like the fact that ninjas who can breathe fireballs, punch giant craters and shoot laser beams aren't appealing, you really gonna sit here and act like transformations aren't cool.
Kakashi((( basically his friend Rin got herself in front of his attack on purpose. Same as in Nagato’s case. And Kakashi who lost everyone could easily choose wrong path. Ofc he had Minato after his father, Obito and Rin’s death. And then he died too. Ofc he had some “empty” period while was in Anbu but he became Kakashi what we all know. That’s impressive.
No other manga or anime will ever do the same justice to its characters as much as Kishi did to his. Amazing connection without leaving any of his characters unexplored or half made. They all felt so human and realistic. Naruto will forever be in my heart
One of the things I like a lot about this is the use of music. This scene is sad, Kakashi feels pained having to fight Obito, and the music reflects both of that. It’s like we’re seeing the fight in Kakashi’s perspective. Amazing work by those who made this anime and Kishimoto.
It amazes me that people say this show lacks plot and emotion in the characters. This scene alone encouraged me to watch the show and now returning to it I still get chills
Of all the fights this is the most underrated and unappreciated fights in naruto history. This was emotional and at the same time this was straight hand to hand combat to a certain point with no ninjutsu or genjutsu
this fight is so underrated compared to rest of naruto's , honestly one of the best fights I've ever seen I love how it transitions between their younger and present selves and the weight it Carries. simply brilliant
@@rockluee37 no thats not a freakin pussy fight, that rinnegan isnt Obitos own power, if he would use it against Kakashi that would be complete dishonorable from obito to rely on the rinnegan, that doesn't count as his own power. My opinion. To Fight just with Thaijutsu and a litte bit ninjutsu maked that Fight so good and memorable.
damn this fight is a master class in not only animation but story telling. If most fights are action thrillers this is drama. The silent beginning, the low starting music, the lack of dialogue through the entire fight and the blending of the timelines and the motion of Obito pulling his past self back from the unison sign is just perfect.
for me this is the best fight of the entire Naruto on an emotional level .. the moment when Obito pushes his younger self aside/down is the best moment of this anime
I think the best narrative element about this fight is how we've known kakashi as that super skilled teacher with something always up his sleeve for fights. Although we know naruto and other ninja like the akatsuki members were stronger than he was (for super unique abilities), this was the first and only real fight where we see him meet his actual, perfect match (as in equally skilled somewhat, with k i n d a equal chances to win) in which kakashi had to use everything. He was no longer just that mysteriously strong teacher to us viewers but a human with a struggle made for him. And the emotional stakes of their relationship (foreshadowed since sakura asked in the original naruto "why does kakashi only have the sharingan in one eye?") makes this fight more impactful to long time viewers. Thats why this is the best fight in the series.
Imo the best hand to hand combat scene or maybe the best fight scene in general. I love how they blend it with the past it made it so emotional and the music is so fitting.
You were the chosen one!!! It was said that you would destroy chaos not join them!!! Bring balance to the Ninja world. Not leave it in dust!!!! You were my brother Obito!!! I....I loved you!!!
Naruto has some of the best fights even if they have bad animation... The way they express character's feeling, ideals and opinions without them saying any word is just majestic, the way they put the music in the right moments, those little fillers or memories that actually fill in the gap between some moments in the fight, everything is just majestic.
Just realized at 3:29 Obito mistakes the clone for the real one because its eyes have hate in them. He's under the assumption that the real Kakashi hates him, when really he just feels sorry for him and wants his friend back😢
You can feel the emotion, I normally don't tear up on any anime fights but this was just a Beauty. The music The focus on taijutsu The constant flashbacks The lack of super saiyan powers The best fight in the entire series i love it

Your analysis is so good!!!
"This rivalry eclipses the Naruto and Sasuke rivalry in the end."
Oh by far.
This so true, obito and kakashi were more compelling than naruxsasu.
This was Naruto at its finest, no super op magic eyeballs, no god genetics, no asspull powerups.
A solid fight with good use of jutsu and deception

It crushes my heart just how maniacal and so gone Obito had become. Some of my favorite scenes from Naruto are the Team Minato flashbacks where Obito was a kind, goofy kid who constantly bickered with Kakashi and Kushina. It’s difficult to reconcile that image of him with the person he is now. I imagine it must’ve been heartbreaking for his past friends to have the memory of Obito, the neighborhood-kid-loved-by-grannies, shattered when they saw him on the opposite side of the battlefield.
My girl d man stil have dat !
He became a cool, powerful badass. What's wrong with that?
Hands down, this was the best fight in the naruto series, that too,of two of my fav shinobi!.
i literally cant help stop watching this battle
Safwan Samir Edo Tensei Madara vs Shinobi Alliance is one of the best too
@@rifarira9160 more like a slaughter by Madara, but yeah, it's kinda cool too.
That budget tho
Fight was top quality, but the whole thing itself was low budget indeed
my wallet is still screaming
Sensei Kyキイ the low budget animation makes it authentic
What the fuck? Is it high budget or low budget
This was made by studio Pierrot, this is pretty high budget for their standards lmaooo.
Naruto= Accidentally becoming a god while trying to bring his friend back
Obito wanted Kakashi to actually stab his heart to remove the curse tag placed by Madara in Obito's heart.
Gaurab Chatterjee people hate spoilers bro
what I always wondered tho is how the fuck is he alive when he _literally has no heart_ lol Haku died instantly and Kakuzu "died" in just a few seconds from similar wounds.
no he didnt said that he said how did u get rid of the seal?
kakashi took it so it xan have 2 many meanings and how obito knew about it?
+Kuririnite
If you haven't seen wtf you doing here whining?
01:49 😱😱😱 That punch was awesome!
Also, I LOVE Obito’s eyes when he scowls.
Seeing this the first time was good.
Seeing this the thousandth time was just as good.
So props to the fucking animation crew..
More than anything, I appreciate that we have here a Naruto clip that doesn’t cut every 10 seconds and deliberately exclude the best parts of the scene that everyone clicked on it for in the first place.
Nice.
Hand to hand combat. No transformations, no flashy effects, no super abilities. Just pure fighting
There was ninjutsu in the fight
@@MohamedRamadan-qi4hl☝️🤓
@@MohamedRamadan-qi4hlbut minimal most of the fight are Tai jitsu

Boruto lol
I hate it when people say this stuff like this and act like the transformations, magic tricks and etc.. Isn't what make shonen popular in the first place, you're acting like the fact that ninjas who can breathe fireballs, punch giant craters and shoot laser beams aren't appealing, you really gonna sit here and act like transformations aren't cool.
@@JeffSmith-jg5hd I don’t think that’s what he meant I think he means it’s nice to see some well choreographed hand to hand combat is all

Obito would destroy kakashi if he really wanted to people r so dumb
Big boii Kokonut same with kakashi
6:06 you can see how his hand is shaking after that blow. It’s not just about Obito but also *Rin*
The animation is so fluid I love it.
“Let me borrow this” epic
No other manga or anime will ever do the same justice to its characters as much as Kishi did to his. Amazing connection without leaving any of his characters unexplored or half made. They all felt so human and realistic. Naruto will forever be in my heart
I feel Naruto is better than One piece what is your point of view?
@@virajmehtavkmthis is not even a debate
@@virajmehtavkmONE PIECE LMAOO. Name more than 5 realistic characters
One of the things I like a lot about this is the use of music. This scene is sad, Kakashi feels pained having to fight Obito, and the music reflects both of that. It’s like we’re seeing the fight in Kakashi’s perspective. Amazing work by those who made this anime and Kishimoto.
I swear to God I've seen this fight at least 20 times and it never fails to give goosebumps. It's probably my favorite fight of all time
It amazes me that people say this show lacks plot and emotion in the characters. This scene alone encouraged me to watch the show and now returning to it I still get chills
I don't care what other people say, this fight was single handingly one of the best fights in naruto 110%
whoever animatied this is a genius
Destroy evil current obito
To compensate for old obito
Sometimes evil past replaced by good future
Of all the fights this is the most underrated and unappreciated fights in naruto history. This was emotional and at the same time this was straight hand to hand combat to a certain point with no ninjutsu or genjutsu
Hands down this has to be the best fight scene in the history of Anime. Prove me wrong
Even i am
Can't prove wrong till now
this fight is so underrated compared to rest of naruto's , honestly one of the best fights I've ever seen I love how it transitions between their younger and present selves and the weight it Carries. simply brilliant
This one is in my top five. Because it was not just a one of if not THE most beatiful taijutsu battle, it was emotional, very emotional.
Top fights for me
Guy vs madara
Kakashi vs obito
Naruto sage vs pain (that hype tho )
I'd say Madara vs alliance and Kakashi dms vs Kaguya, but i consider those 2 a rape
Id say rock lee vs gaara over pain vs sage
Don't forget Pain vs Jiraya
spittin facts
Itachi Vs Naruto Itachi Vs sasuke
this fight may be one of the best fights in anime history
When you realise obito didn't even use 20% of his rinnegan
Well he threw this fight so it makes sense. He wanted to get chidori'd.
He was using it to keep ten tails under his control
Obito never used the rinnegan vs Kakashi ..
He didn't wanted to kill Kakashi
Minato: "shinobi hand-to-hand combat"
Obito: "haha fireball justu go brrrrr"
Best fight in all of anime history in my opinion, and quite possibly the saddest fight in all of Naruto
It's fitting that Obito as the best and strongest character in the series also has the best fight. Awesome
Fight with
Emotions
Childhood
Friend
Etc.
This is why its my Favorite fight scene in Whole naruto series
obito is a badass using kakashi's hand to complete his fire style hand sign..
By far the best fight scene in this anime.
I can’t but sit back and laugh at the people who say this fight is below Naruto vs Nagato.
Honestly one of the best fighting scenes ever made, I've watched this hundreds of times already. The animation is simply beautiful and powerful.
The most spectacular and sad fight. The use of the flashbacks, the music and the mirror between times is pure art.
for me this is the best fight of the entire Naruto on an emotional level .. the moment when Obito pushes his younger self aside/down is the best moment of this anime
1:11 Such a cool sequence. Showed them from top angle, made a rotation and went into Kakashi's Sharingan to cut into flashback
the music, choreography, flashback all of them executed perfectly, hands down to the best fight in naruto 🙌
If kushina see this how would she feel
Probably devastated after seeing her 2 students fight and after realising one of them is responsible for separating her from her son
@@vadivamindia3507 True.
Beat up Obito
Dakto kirito Luckily Obito decided to kill her before, so she wouldn’t be able to see this
Blessed xD
The way they express character's feeling, ideals and opinions without them saying any word is just majestic, the way they put the music in the right moments, those little fillers or memories that actually fill in the gap between some moments in the fight, everything is just majestic.
kakashi: a sasuke that didn't give into his darkness obito: a naruto that lost hope
Just realized at 3:29 Obito mistakes the clone for the real one because its eyes have hate in them. He's under the assumption that the real Kakashi hates him, when really he just feels sorry for him and wants his friend back😢
Obito objective in this fight wasn't even to win he wanted to use kakashi chidori to break madara's seal in his heart
6:39 everytime I lose an argument
So you too teleport yourself to the other dimension after loosing. Hmm. Cool
@Riffah Most accurate description
Obito: A Naruto who lost hope
Kakashi: A sasuke who has hope
This really goes to show you how much obito's hand to hand combat had evolved over the years
You can feel the emotion, I normally don't tear up on any anime fights but this was just a Beauty.
The music
The focus on taijutsu
The constant flashbacks
The lack of super saiyan powers
The best fight in the entire series i love it
Obito is best character he had used 3 voices in anime
1.His orginal voice
2.Tobi voice
3.madara voice
That's probably one of the best fights in anime history
