Absolutely beautiful scenery and wonderfully soothing music to boot. Thanks for NOT giving us a tour of the interior of your boat because you need some privacy for sure. You are in my humble opinion, the best of the narrow boat channels. Being moored for ten days with bad weather during the winter makes me wonder how you handle that, but at the end of the day that is between you and the cats. I will be making a financial contribution before too long.
Smashing video, as always. You always let the canal and the countryside do the talking for you and we see very little of you - unlike many of the other boaters' efforts. Please keep on cruising.....
Sorry only just noticed this. This is the second time my comments have been interfered with It has happened in another narrow boat site I enjoy and is still unresolved. The comment to you was the second one yesterday and said that I really enjoyed your music it really complimented the footage of this lovely canal. Thanks Phil. p.s. the subscription is still there.
Thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed that. I have walked along the tow path from Gnosall to Norbury Junction many times. Now I no longer live there so it's lovely to see it again.
With luck we may able to get to Newport by boat one day. Don't forget Greggs just the back of B&M, after peddling 5 mile I can eat my sticky bun with a clear conscious, & load 1 up for the return run. Lovely vid again like a moving painting.
Well done again Phil, very enjoyable. Everything is good, your commentary makes it interesting, the shots along the canal are very nice, you're choice of music was nice and the icing on the cake is your intro and exit music. As I said a very enjoyable video. Keep up the good work. Ian and Angie.
Very fond memories of Norbury Jct where I started my helmsmanship course for solos and I think I spotted the nb Lancashire Lass that we used...by Terry I think ?... some years ago now, followed by 3 weeks solo on the Shroppy in a cold January with a thin layer of ice every morning. Many thanks as always for your great vlog.
Hi Phil you moored where we did years ago. The Anchor pub has been in the same family for over a hundred years. Black Sabbath used to drink in there back in late 60s and 70s. Did you manage a pint in there ?
@@NarrowboatJourneys Very sorry to read that there might not be any spare cash for a pint Phil. It is a very expensive hobby at £4 + a pint. I only go out 1 day per week to have a pint now I cannot afford more if the truth be told. More pleasure gained from your vlogs and your other posters of an evening. I cannot watch telly now its so rubbish. Keep safe.
Here I am again I do love Flutter😍 when I asked about your guitar I was asking what make is it? In my era Gibson was probably the most wanted then Gretch not far behind...and Fender of course...Anyway its just A matter of how it sounds and how much the cost is..... I've heard some very nice sounds coming from guitars that were simply well made but cost relatively little....I do like the mellow sounds you provide ..😍
We love Narrowboat Journeys. He presents his trips so well. Also, my wife loves his kitties.

Good job your videos are not longer, i would be asleep, they are so relaxing. Like the new music.
Thank you. Relaxing is good, as long as the word "boring" is not used, I am happy. ;-)
@@NarrowboatJourneys Never boring.
The flags on the boat on the right at 9:08 look nice. These canyon areas are really beautiful, so much greenery.
Love the Shroppie (apart from the shelf ;-)).
Yet again another excellent video 👍
Thank you. They are a lot of work but I do enjoy making them. :-)

No, I didn't go in to the pub. I can't afford things like that.

Wow, is it really that much for a pint? Sod that! I can't remember when I last went to a pub.

It's an old B&M (Barnes and Mullins) classical guitar, nylon strings, made in Spain.
@@NarrowboatJourneys oh my no wonder it has the wonderful tones..😊
Utterly Rudderly!
