This is a 55" Casablanca Bel Air ceiling fan in the Brushed Cocoa finish and shown with a set of Antique Oak blades. This fan features the integrated light kit as shown, an XLP-2000 motor, and utilizes the Inteli-Touch control system and a W-32 wall control giving this fan 6 speeds (forward/reverse), full range dimming and several other automated features including the "Demo Mode". The model number is 38546T and the serial number reads ITT180128 which dates this fan to have been manufactured September 18th, 2008 - the 128th fan produced that day.
By 1995 Casablanca began what I saw as the beginning of their "Transitional" styled lineup. With the popularity of ornate and basic fan designs in the past, the mid-90's ushered in several new designs that were sleek, slightly contemporary, yet subtly traditional in detail. With a production run of about 20+ years, the popularity of the Bel Air took off and was quickly a staple of Casablanca's lineup. I always considered this model to be the more traditional counterpart to the Stealth, and with this model's popularity also came the Bel Air Halo which was a version of this fan that included an integrated uplight in the design. As finish trends changed, by the late 2000's the Brushed Cocoa finish was introduced which I'd describe as a slightly darker version of the Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish but with a lightly brushed appearance and overall more character.
Overall this fan performs very well, I wouldn't say it's the most powerful model Casablanca offered but the airflow and CFM output is definitely above average for what was on the market at the time this fan was made.
