Totally agree. I didn’t realize it. Whoever gave this a thumbs down, they need a hug or a brain. Really nicely done, Greg. The tabs help. I might give this one a go.

The reason why I like this song cause i heard this when I was in the 3rd grade living in Oakland and was going to a baby sitter.for some reason as a kid this song always make me think of that old sitcom "The Partridge Family"i think its that prince looking outfit they have on when they start singing and playing instruments. The image of them comes when that psycho delic sound comes on.Its that guitar or synthesizer sound. And you played that baseline perfect.Just flawless.

@@BassCovers yes sir, you're welcome. I'm no musician by any means, but I have an ear for it, and the bass has always been my favorite part to hear. The drums may set the tempo, but a solid bass - in my opinion - is the soul of any good jam. Salute and thank you for doing the music right. I'm a new fan!

Hi there , i am a car mechanic in Germany and i dont know a shit about playing an instrument or even about music !
BUT i came to this song via JACKIE BROWN .
Tarantino used this song as background while Ordel was murdering Livingston.
    Cruel but also Coooool scene.
And the music remind me always about coolnes.
I always wanted to see how this bass has to be played to get this sound.
    THANK YOU for showing .
That looks like brain surgery for me , i dont even see how you hit the strings ....i mean which finger is hitting the string......
    Is it the thump ?
Again thank you for teaching others ,who can play a guitar.
    Big respect.

No offense to you, but in my opinion, if you need to slow a song down that much and can't play it with the notation and TAB in front of you, then the song is probably too difficult for you at this time and you need to work your way up to it ;) Don't feel bad about this. There are songs that have taken me years to learn! :) Find other songs you can use as "stepping stones" ;)
