There is no way this is five years old already ): Thank you dustin for always being there to record these memories, I know I appreciate it more than you know
They can try boa probably won’t make finals since it would be their first time but after that they’ll start choosing more difficult music and then they’ll adapt to new tougher competition because the bands they go up against in US Bands are very easy going and don’t have that many resources like the boa bands do, these guys would do Gr8. It would be nice to keep competition even.
They should definitely do boa. I could see them making regional finals or being in the bubble at contests such as midland and austin. And tbh boa is more of an experience, its really just fun, and i feel like brennan would actually do well in boa if they went
neoyokio_ but this material right here is above us bands level of competition this is like Mac Arthur high school those guys went to BOA super regional but did good and Brennan can do amazing things as long as musicianship and commitment is higher, all other US Bands aren’t at the same level as this band because bands who go to US Bands have less people and don’t have money to waste if you have a trailer lucky you, a full Drumline and pit even better try boa and yes your mindset shouldn’t be we’re making finals it should be more we will try our best and make finals but most importantly enjoy the fact that we are competing against other amazing bands. Have fun while you are at it too. Brennan and a couple other programs who compete in US Bands should try BOA at least a regional competition not a super regional unless your director feels like.
I will say my band program we aren’t the best but we aren’t bad we are a medium-good program but we don’t get enough funding therefore we can’t compete at a higher level and our district doesn’t take fine arts very serious so it’s harder to compete with other district who have more money then Aldine and better musicians now we can be at the same level but it would take longer and it starts in middle schools. I think that as individuals musicians we don’t take it serious and it’s why we can’t compete with other good bands like Brennan, wish you the band program success in US Bands if that’s the route they choose but BOA is definitely something to try in the future.

i won’t even lie we’d get torn up in boa comps, hebron and reagan especially have such amazing bands
@@fa1james before I moved to Brennan I went to Madison and we did the boa at the alamodome. Reagan is godly, they perform so well so consistently.
