Hello , I'm proud two of you . I do want my daughters to study abroad
I noticed that all students who were accepted into UWC schools when they came in their first year were rejected, but when they came in the second year, they were accepted .... Is this really ?! Is it rejected the first time ?! 😂😂 I am really nervous about this because I am in the second grade of high school and I have one attempt in front of me, and I desperately want to attend UWC schools 😢
if you apply second year my understanding is that the second attempt is an application during 3rd year? Unless school is different where you're from I am only american

My problem is that I have not practicipate in a volunteer poretion , from your knowledge do you think it's really a huge wall in my way to join the uwc.

didn't you have any examinations? the official UWC page says that a part of the selection process is an examination. or is the examination just interviews and stuff like that? btw, thank you for this video, at least now I know that all my headaches from MUN aren't for nothing :')
we did have a test in the end of the 1st round

I have a question, I'm currently in summer holidays that will end in August. From there I'll begin 10th grade. I'm currently 15 and turn 16 on April next year. If I apply, I'll do it through the Indian committee, whose applications are due on November. I want to apply for DP1. (11th grade) should I apply this year, or next year? (I go to an IB school, so our school year is from midish August to next year June)
Is there any test during application? If yes, then how was the test, was it difficult or not?
Do you consider I stand a chance?My grades are all above 90,I know spanish,english,some japanese,and a bit of french.I participate in Dance,theatre,singing(My main passion),and volleyball.I volunteer in an exchange program where people from other countries visit my region.Usually the activities are stuff like picking up trash or going ziplining and canyoning.And in the past I've participated in:Swimming ballet singing lessons soccer gymnastics and volleyball(currently) although im not good at any of those sports except volleyball and swim lol.Im also on student council and class council.

Я сейчас учусь в восьмом классе, хотела бы поступить в UWC. Посмотрела твои видео о грамотах и у меня появился вопрос. Их ведь нужно прикреплять обязательно? У меня очень мало грамот и все они довольно старые. Это значит, что мне лучше поднабрать их перед поступлением?
И еще есть вопрос по поводу рекомендационного письма. Я хожу на доп. английский(не в школе), может ли преподаватель оттуда написать мне письмо?
Я волнуюсь от того, что я ничем не занимаюсь(я рисую, но не хожу ни в какую школу), ибо времени из-за учебы попросту нет. Смогу ли я поступить?
Буду очень благодарна, если ты найдешь время ответить мне, ведь это для меня очень важно.

Если у меня все очень плохо по техническим предметам (алгебра, геометрия, физика, химия), то меня могут взять в UWC если у меня всё отлично по русскому, английскому, литературе, биологии, обществознании и истории?
Могут. Оценки не являются решающим фактором при отборе. Но было бы лучше, если бы они были выше среднего. IB - довольно сложная программа, и национальному комитету нужно быть уверенным, что ты потянешь еë.

Привет. Ведь когда ты подаёшь заявку, ты выбираешь три колледжа, да? Какие ты выбрала ( кроме Дилижана)?
Я подавала через национальный коммитет, то есть я ставила рейтинг на все колледжи. топ 3 у меня были: Германия, Норвегия и Италия, Дили - 4 или 5
Даша, скажи пожалуйста а рекомендационные письма должны быть в какой форме,в каком количестве, и как все это должно осуществляться?
там будут вопросы для учителей, через систему где ты подаешь

UWC важны в первую очередь твои личностные качества, но программа IB сложная и для понимания требует уровень не ниже B2. Но, как заявляют UWC, на самих этапах поступления вы должны как минимум уметь рассказать о себе. В дальнейшем, если поступаешь, то языку тебя обучат

average as if the academic trascript? i applied with my 9th grade grades and there i had two "4"s (out of 5) and all the rest were "5"s. i think it is something like 3.8 or 3.9 GPA

Lans Koku no it’s a 2 year ib program so you need to be 16 by the time you join it
Yes you can but ur application needs to be special ! There’s an eligibility test u can take on the site if you’d like to find out

Do you think that it's needed to have done some volunteer work? I haven't done any but I wanna get in...
I've heard from a friend that many people that were with her on phase 2 didn't have any volunteer work (including her)
It would make your application stronger, yes, but it comes down to who you are

If you're average, find what you're good at and keep mentioning it. If you're average, also have a good intricate use of language. Speaking eloquently really masks someone's averageness.

@@mlop2484 no-no, you apply with your preferences and they send you to one of the schools of their choice.. if you apply for the scholarship.
@@mlop2484 but Dilijan is amazing in many ways (nature, people, culture, the fact that it's yet very developing area and you can do a lot of here to solve the issues)
