Hi. I never message anyone other than family, but I wanted to tell you how lovely it is to watch you creating your paintings. I am very new to painting and rubbish at it, but, I am so happy and contented sitting down and creating. I do see I am improving, v e r y s l o w l y. Thank you so much for sharing your great talent. I look forward to more videos soon. I am 70 , so a late starter. Never too late. Right
thank you for that comment, Carol. my goal is to inspire others to create, however they choose. it makes me feel good to know that my mission gets accomplished. have a beautiful and creative week!
I also am a cardmaker, CeeCee! That's why I am anxious to learn watercolor. This card is stunning! Blue just happens to be my favorite color. I am really enjoying your videos and I love your humor. The music is also beautiful. Thank you.
I live near the ocean and love the foggy days we sometimes get. When I watched you paint this I could almost smell the sea air. What a beautiful way to show off the blue!
This is so beautiful - thank you so much! I am a brand new 'baby' watercolorist, and I enjoy your TH-cam tutorials so very much. Thank you for stretching me and helping to learn and grow!
I’m new to watercolor and made a gorgeous poke berry ink this morning-I’m delighted to practice these gorgeous leaves with it!! I enjoy the sunshine you bring to these videos, friend. Thank you!
You are so right about quality over quantity! This is what my art professor stressed in college. One of my favorite colors is burnt sienna for mixing. I absolutely love it mixed with pyrrole red. This was a fun video to watch.
Great video!!! Thank you, CeeCee, I could watch you paint all day and listen to you talk & chuckle all day!!! I learn so much from you...now I just have to PRACTICE!!!! xoxox
I'm laying in bed watching this when I should be sleeping. I love this so much and was so inspired that I wanted to jump up and go to my craft room and try painting this. But I'll be to tired in the morning so it will have to wait. Thanks for another great video.
I’m just starting my monochromatic explorations so I’m glad I found your channel. My absolute favorite color is Prussian blue, but another color I’m playing with is Cerulean blue.
This is a great lesson! I really like it. Color options are endless...I must try this.....Ya know I love the way you done 2 paintings .....very clever way to think!!! Thanks so much
Lovely CeeCee. The monochromatic blues are beautiful and the gold mixed with the blue is especially beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration, I think I’ll give this a go.
I love the idea of doing more with monochromatic ideas! A lovely magenta would be nice! Maybe yellow? I love the painting and card. Thank you for your encouragement to branch out, I love it! I am new to watercolor.
So gorgeous. I agree, I'd be ecstatic to receive this card in the mail. I'd frame it because it's beautiful. Golden green would be lovely or grey. Cheers Lisa
So very lovely Cee Cee! 💙 I always take away something from your videos. Permission granted to TOOT what ever horn is closest to you at any given time!
Wow! What a great drawing. It makes me completely absent. That's great! Just looking at it makes me happy. I am also an artist who paints. You are so great!! WOW !!!
Beautiful! I love how you work in such a balanced way. What I mean by that is that you could have stopped at almost any point in these two paintings, and you would have had a beautifully balanced piece. Love the gold dots. Next color? Whatever you’re excited by!
Yay twin! Prussian blue is also MY fave blue!!! Oh these are so beautiful!! Just lovely!! And indeed!! Anyone would LOVE to get a card like that!! Am so glad I saw this video before turning off my computer for the night. It is midnight here just now lol I would love to see GREEN next time!! Wish you a wonderful and creative coming week twin!! And thank you for being such an inspiration!! xx
Prussian’s right up there with indigo, if you ask me. And Mayan. Mayan’s so soft and smoooth. Well... gotta love Lapis, too. Lapis is so nice and buttery. Of course the cobalts, and cerulean (PB35). (I’ve got 11 blues.) Went through a bit of a blue phase a little while ago;) I wonder if you’d like Daniel Smith’s Kyanite? it’s got a very fine sparkly nature. It could be the gold of blues for you haha. Cheers from Ottawa.
I've been starting with straight & dip pens - there are some inks that leave a gold highlight or edge - thinking of using a compatible blue one of those to write a short sentiment on front. TFS your wonderful work!
Dear Ceecee, I'm making a conscious effort to be more creative this year and your channel has given me so many ideas to practice watercolour painting. I made these monochromatic leaves in Phtalo Blue and also in Sepia. I'm quite happy with it. Thank you so much for all your videos!
I loved following along with you on this one. As a relative beginner the strokes are good practice on starting light then overlapping and getting darker. Thank you, your was gorgeous.
I would like to see different shades and tints of greens, maybe mixed with gold. I love your paintings CeeCee! I wish I could be just a tiny bit as good a painter as you are. You are really special.
I love the simplicity and beautiful elegance of these! I would like to see you paint a monochromatic piece of art using purple. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
I'm using prussian blue as one of my three colors. I'm self tough in watercolor. It's difficult yet I'm in love with the meidum. Your work is wonderful. Thank You for sharing your knowledge! I will definitely be watching this video. I agree practice, practice lol My hands are very arthritic hands, but I still crave to paint.
That is just so lovely and in my favourite colour too. Ceecee, you've also given me the answer I need of how to complete a painting I started with foliage in a misty setting. Now I know what to do to achieve the effect I'm looking for! :)
These are lovely! Well done! And the touch of gold could not be more delightful. I would love for you to do red. True reds are so hard to find and then so hard to shade. However, my favorite color is aqua or a light bluish turquoise. Whenever I've been able to find a color called turquoise or aqua, they are often quite chalky. I am constantly experimenting with mixes of blue and green.
I love Prussian blue (and blue in general) and I have some in a palette. This is a great beginner exercise and I'm going to try for two cards with it! Thanks! :)

Beautiful blue! My favorite color ever !!!
This makes a beautiful card that I’m sure anyone would be happy to receive. The gold/blue leaves are fantastic!
the best part of your tutorials is the calming music....as my blood pressure starts to rise with my bungling, it automatically calms down :)
Gorgeous. Love the gold in blue mix

Oh so pretty and calming, peaceful.value what you own 👍🏼
If you have a color similar to Daniel Smith’s Lavender, I’d love to see you use this in a piece. It is a periwinkle tone. Quite beautiful.
This is one of my most favourite paintings ever! I absolutely love the variations of blue.
So gorgeous. I agree, I'd be ecstatic to receive this card in the mail.
I'd frame it because it's beautiful.
Golden green would be lovely or grey.
Cheers

Beautiful and it looks so peaceful to do. The lovely music does it too!! 👍 And....poppy red please 😊

Beautiful 🤩 thank you so much for sharing 🙏
Makes us want to use water color! We only paint with acrylics right now, but we might have to start expanding our tools a bit huh?
