Lovely to see some footage of Norwich. I was a seller in St. Gregory’s back in the day. It’s a beautiful old church, I have ancestors who married there in the 1800s.
Lovely to see you wandering around my hometown. The antique centre is in St Gregory’s Church, which is medieval and is beautiful.❤ That British Heart Foundation shop is seriously overpriced, I tend to get nice bargains in Age Concern.
Yes St Gregory’s was gorgeous 🙂 The Age Concern has been good for us too. We always seem to find something there.

Where you had your drink, if you walk a bit further along out of the city there is a large Oxfam and about 4/5 other charity shops as well as a large antiques centre (looses). And a couple of good record shops Nick!

I was there last week and sadly thought the city centre and neighbouring are was looking very dirty and sad, I agree with previous comments regarding the prices

Why don’t charity shops lower there prices I’m sure they would get a faster turnover of stock, at a local charity shop near me a lady was giving a large amount of donations the lady said to her we can’t take the puzzles we are inundated with them, so why not charge £1 or £2 for a puzzle not £4 there just greedy
I agree with thecomment about charity shops prices.I once saw a blouse in one that I actually had ,the charity shop was charging twice the price I paid new,and it had the same label.
I agree with you. I’m of the mind that if the prices were lower they would sell a larger quantity. They are never short of stock as there is a constant stream of donations. It makes my heart heavy to know that so much ends up in a skip or going to the rag man when it could be sold and kept in circulation by lowering prices. This is my opinion as a regular buyer and supporter of charity shops, not as a reseller. I love to buy things that I know I can find new homes for, but I don’t need to. I love to buy for ourselves, I buy most of my clothes from charity shops and a lot for our own home 🙂
@@andreahills74 yes that’s right, I watch a lovely lady on u tube Rosie not sure where she lives but she goes to the charity shops near her and gets lovely items for £1!
Norwich looks like a love;y place! I've been there once many yrs ago but can't remember much about it lol.

Ill have to pop in their next time im up, even if you don't buy anything from those emporiums, they do educate you to know what its worth and what to look for. and Geoff is such a good boy, mine would be pulling items off the shelf thou he is only months :)
So true, we rarely buy anything but love having a nosey and exploring the booths 🙂
St Gregorys is an excellent little place to go for antiques, and Looses are the two i go and look in the most. I do find the quality of Stock in Norwich is not the greatest but it's not the worst or i just dont quite know what i am looking for xD
