Tree Spring & Oso are two of my favorites. The chunk is SO good & that view in Tree Spring ❤ . Took me a few times on each to learn the lines, but it's so much more fun when you do. I've run into 4 bears already up there this year, 1 on Golden Eagle, 2 on Lower Challenge, & 1 on North Faulty. Good riding, glad you checked those trails out they're great.
@@gaberomero1740 oh amazing! I definitely thought that was a new alternate down - I did like it a little more than tree spring, I can’t wait to get on it again!
Been riding Oso Corredor and Tree Spring since about 2006/7ish back in my XC days on a HT. Crashed a few times on Tree Spring going up and down; also gotta watch out for hikers as it is a super popular trail with them. Oso use to be a solid blue trail, don't know about now. Also the trail was named due to many bear sightings before it was built. The bike/chairlift symbol on the sign was for the ski area before they took down lift #1 when they rebuilt the restaurant Ten 3; the lift was too close to the construction area and they never put it back up when it was finished.
Second that. About 15-20 years ago they rented bikes and ran bike lifts in the summer. I'm hearing that the new owners plan to open for MTB. Was hopeful it would be this year.... Guess not 😢
Yes that’s the rumor, that the new owners are looking at re-introducing the bike park! Whether they do pro built trails or volunteer built, I’d love to be able to have a bike park close to home.
Yep you are totally correct! They are really high up on the tree, definitely meant for XC skiing :D While I was riding I was just being snarky and confused lol
Lovin that Kona!
@@DandyHippo wooo I love that bike so much!
The blue diamonds are "blazes" to mark cross country ski trails in the winter. That's why they are placed high up in the tree trees.
@@luiscuadros2 ahhhh that makes a lot of sense! Also that’s really cool - I might bust out some snowshoes this winter and explore that again!
A bike park would be awesome
@@thomas5822 the sign better be a good omen! 😂

I rode Oso corridor back in 2016 so it’s been around for awhile. It’s great 👍🏼

Wow an adventurous trail ride (not bike park stuff) to me its more real world ! Anyway nice job girl ! Tks for the video
@@robiveevee840 hahaaaa I’m always so excited to hit trails outside of the bike park, I gotta get off the lift more! 😂
In the distant past the ski area used to do mountain biking in the summer. Not sure when they stopped.

Blue diamonds on the tree might signify a blue XC ski trail not a blue MTB trail.
