Seriously, Lorna Shore can put out 10 songs that sound the same and people lose their minds yet these guys have been putting out amazing stuff with insane depth and talent for years and yet you barely hear about them. One of the most Underrated bands out there.
I love Defamed! I also love Despite Exile! And loved that one song they did as the band Abiogenesis as well! Defamed makes my heart smile and do the griddy!
That was probably the most impressive performance of deathcore I've seen in awhile. It's so difficult to improve upon an already incredible sound but DEFAMED has definitely done that.

WHAT A RIDE I love pretty much everything about it. Composition, Visuals overall and of course especially the visuals of the story elements! (EURGH THE HANDS CLUTCHING THE CROWN IN THE END, WHAT THE FUCK), the text is beautifully versed as always, and especially the first "caged like birds" part, with Simo whispering and then Mattia and Simo both screaming the part GAVE ME SUCH CHILLS! I guess I'll never fully comprehend what you're doing instrumentally, cause I have no idea about how instruments work, but WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING, IT'S SCARY AND FANTASTIC. Won't kick "Crystal Prison" off the throne for me personally, but overall I feel like EACH AND EVERY SINGLE IS EVEN MORE OF A MASTERPIECE THAN THE LAST ONE, WHAT THE HELL HOW DO YOU DO THIS.
One of the best deathcore bands I've ever heard. That simple. The atmosphere, the lyrics, the instrumental harmony... A work that speaks to the soul and comforts it in the shadows. Congratulations!

When I heard their earlier stuff, they sounded like a try hard prog/djent deathcore band that desperately wanted to be taken seriously. Now, I can honestly say these can be taken seriously as a true deathcore band. They have their unique blend of prog and deathcore, and the new emphasis on the symphonic elements definitely matured their sound. Well met lads!
