- Out with my New Arrma Typhon TLR Tuned Typhon 6s! Sporting the RTR shell and stock electronics, this thing totally rips and is super durable! The 7075 materials on this car held perfect! Love the Team Losi Racing inspiration in this thing and has so many adjust abilities for racing!
I ran a 17 tooth pinion, punch 5 on the ESC. Also added M2C Racing chassis braces and outer diff shims front and rear! Other than that she's all stock TLR! Had such a blast no major breaks in this footage other than a popped off front body mount!

Some incredible driving! And jumps! I bought the Same Typhon TLR 6S about a month ago and have done quite a few upgrades, I absolutely love it for track racing or just messing around! You can’t beat how tough that car is out of the box, I’ve upgraded all the plastic to aluminum M2C and Hot Racing, front and rear Diff housings, center Diff cover, M2C center Diff brace, using the same electronics except for the Transmitter. I run her mostly on 4S 100-130C or 6S 100C and it’s just a beast and handles amazingly! Awesome video!

I raced mainly 2wd 1/10 short course trucks hard core from 2000 - 20004 but I haven't touched one since. If that helps with making a decision.. lol

I love my tlr typhon! only complaint i have is the ground clearance. it just struggles on rough terrain. but that's the only thing negative i can say! very durable!

And yes after watching your vid of the v4 with fortress tires from the Mojave, have become my favorite tire on the typhon. Didn't widen it just trimmed the rear bottom of the body so they don't rub. So far only tire that has not lost any rubber. Any other off road tires I've had go slick to quick. And the Fortresses help bring that fron end up to keep from lawn darting even on 4s. I run the 17 tooth gear on 4s and on 50% runs like the 4s but on 100% runs like 6s without getting hot.

For the price they're asking it really ought to feature those aluminium chassis braces as standard.
That’s insane that it doesn’t as the trucks do have the aluminum braces in exb form
@@longboardguy Indeed. The fanboys will be quick to point out that it's a racing buggy so needs plastic chassis braces for flexibility. Meanwhile anybody with sense knows that this RC isn't really a racing buggy despite the marketing and is in fact a premium quality bashing buggy.

What a BEAST!! That sucker hauls serious ass even on rough terrains! It's a little toughy to get backflip on a Buggy but it's a Beast of a rocket🚀 for some high speed ramp launches. Sweet looking Buggy Bro and killer first bash with it.
yeah they can be tough to backflip but i can pull them on my ramp
She'll backflip but going through the air at high velocity it can be tough😆Some diff tuning will greatly help!

When jumping and bashing do u have problems with rear diff to chassis screws staying tight? All 3 of my arrmas come loose about every time out

Yes thicker center and front will def. help! Iended up going 200k center and 50k front. Bigger tires will help most but it'll need M2C hex extenders. May do that in the future!
What fluid did you end up changing to in the diffs for better air control?
Thinking about this TLR myself. Glad you posted this video. Fairly new to the hobby and wondering if this TLR can fit and use 2 3s batteries?

It can fit two 3s if they are smaller mah packs like 5000 or less. Best option is a single 6s!

Hi mate love the video as always and that would have to the last Rc vehicle i want. And with the right breaces you shouldn't bend chassis. I've got v4 kraton and I've made my own breaces and seen nothing like my breaces and I don't bend chassis anymore 👍🤪🤣🤣 keep the videos coming 😁👍🦘😁😁

No it's running completely stock suspension as of now just adjusted the collars.
If you don't mind me asking, what weight is you shock oil and
F/C/R diff fluid? TYIA. 🤙 if you have change it since the video.
As of now still stock shock fluid but went 50k front, 200k center and stock 10k rear. I need to tune the shocks and rear diff to probably 20 or 30k.

Hi thanks so much! You could but will interfere with the Typhon body unless you run a truck style shell!

For hard bashing I'd get a regular one and upgrade it! You can upgrade this one too but it will require more parts! The TLR is definitely a fun buggy, especially if you want better handling and adjustability for racing etc

@jacobhenson3952 If you're not going crazy with jumps this TLR will be fine for general bashing. Only weakness is the hinge pin system which is set up for racing adjustments. Other than that it's a well built car!

Fish eye lens makes it hard to appreciate what's actually happening.
Yeah it kinda looses far away action. I have to use a Go pro wide lense or else the truck will be out of frame especially jumping.😜
