In today's video I'm going to be reviewing the arctic fox hair dye in the shade virgin pink! i'v been loving having pink hair and I'm going to share with you guys how I maintain my color, if I touch it up, if this color stains and how much it fades after each wash. Also if you want the color to last longer, buy a tube and when you condition your hair put like a quarter sized amount in your conditioner in your hand(with gloves of course), mix it up and apply them together. It’ll make it last so much longer
put a little bit of the dye in your conditioner?? (i’m planning on dyeing my hair and i wanna make sure it lasts as long as possible!)
Alicia L yeah just put your conditioner in your hand, add a squeeze of your color (only semi permanent colors work) and mix it around with your finger then apply your conditioner

I love Arctic fox. It's my go to. It does stain my pillow case and t-shirt I use to dry my hair off with but I honestly don't mind. I think when people complain about how quick it fades they don't really care for it properly, some do but I feel like most don't. I definitely notice a difference with cold water. I basically do the same thing as you to prolong the color, plus a put a little bit in my conditioner, and it lasts a month at the very least before I feel the need to touch it up.
What color did you have that transferred? I had purple rain and holy crap my shirts would stain so bad!
Even after 5 washes it still looks basically as pigmented as when I first use it. I love Arctic foxes virgin pink. It lasts so well.

In my experience, Arctic fox virgin pink lasts and lasts and lasts. I just loved it.
I mix my virgin pink with conditioner to make it a lighter shade when applying. Works like a charm!
I’ve been using Girls Night Out and it washes out quick. And then I saw a couple videos saying that it’s one of the Arctic fox colors that don’t last as long! LAME, I really liked it but I don’t like to maintenance THAT much. So I think I’ll try this pink. Super cute 💁🏽♀️

I just bleached and dyed my ends pink! The dye I used has faded fast so next time I’m using arctic fox! I love that color on you and even the fading process looks amazing😍 I love light pinks but will definitely enjoy the bright color in the beginning
There is a lovely shampoo for colored hair. about two years ago i had bright blue hair. as we all know blue can fade horribly. but, there’s hope! Watercolors INTENSE Color Depositing Sulfate-Free Shampoo. it’s a shampoo that dispenses color/stain into your hair and keeps your color vivid. one bottle lasted me about 3-4 months. i have curly hair so i wash maybe 2-3 times a week. they’re a bit expensive(25$) but worth it if you want to keep the vibrant look! highly recommend.
i dyed my hair the same color and i now have a pink stain on my white wall where my bed is 😂

I love that shampoo! I feel like it does keep my color looking fresh longer. I've been dyeing my natural red hair a brighter red for the last year. Red washes out notoriously fast, but not with this shampoo. But you've inspired me to go pink!
Pink is like red... On crack. I've been red for almost 10 years and just went pink a little over a month ago, and OMG pink is... The best!! Although now I'm inspired by her orange too. 🤣🤦♀️🥰💖
When I dye my hair and my counters get stained I use the liquid comet. Leave it over night. And voila, all gone! I've done it with all colors too. Even black box dye.
As i sit...virgin pink in my hair. I just wanna see what you do with yours when you touch up. I mix with conditioner, and put it in when my hair wet after i wash it so i dont shampoo out any color and let it dry. Then i rinse cold and braid it back til it's dry. Dry shampoo 2-3x through the week. My issue is my scalp area fades out faster than my ends 😪

I have a video on my routine! It’s pretty minimal product and a great starting point for beginners ☺️ id use whatever shampoo and conditioner you already use though bc mine aren’t anything special but I definitely recommend the styling products! And the product I use in my refresh routine video is AMAZING🖤
melinda Hello! Thanks for the tips. I have an update on my hair. So After showering i found a gel (the one someone recomended my before) and tried it out yesterday! My waves had more definition but it was really crisp yesterday and my sister pointed it out so i searched youtube and found out all about gel casts and im going to ask my sister if I can borrow her moose because she also is starting the cgm. I usually do the two wash when I applied cuz I use L’Oréal one and other brands and I learned that if you don’t want do stain your wardrobe or bed I do that. Never have a problem with it thank goodness but I always read the instructions but as well. Arctic Fox is the new one that I’m going to use and hope doesn’t fade that fast because the L’Oréal took 2 weeks to fade being honest
I've had this through my ombre for almost 2 months, I diluted it so it was about half as pink, and it didn't bleed whatsoever. Even rinsing my hair, no pink rinsed out at all. I think it has to do with the conditioner added to the color and the fact that my hair just absorbed all the pigments. I have decently healthy hair as well. My only problem now is it's not coming out 😂 I wash my hair once a week. I've been using hotter water and the shampoo has been light pink. But I've hardly noticed any fading! Lord help me lol.
I think it also depends on the color because i have both Virgin Pink and Sunset Orange in my hair. And I've noticed Sunset Orange has been fading so quickly and the pink is not budging!And ive used their other colors by Artic fox and the other colors ive used have stayed in my hair for a long time. So maybe its just this color?

Some arctic fox colors last forever and some wash out super quick. I’ve had a problem with the virgin pink color getting stuck on my hair 🤷♀️
That’s what’s going on with my hair. I dyed it in April and by late May I became determined to wash the rest out because I wanted something different, but even today it looks kind of rose gold. Still a bit of pink in there. Wild.
Currently have purple reign stuck in my hair for the 3rd time, half was Poseidon and the green from that is completely out and purple looks fresh lmao
Your video gave me a good idea what color to choose for my next trial. I have been using the light pink of Colorista, but my next test run will be the Frose by Arctic Fox. The Virgin Pink is just too much for me and when it fades, it gets this orangey pink fade which is not what I want.

You can wash your hair with conditioner. My hair never looked better when I did.
If you have dry hair it stays well because dry hair holds onto any color way better ❤️

My hairs a little orange from the bleach should I try and get it lighter ?? Or do you think the pink will come out like ... pink please I need help thank you 🥺
You need to get it to a pale yellow colour at least but you can try tone your hair first with a purple shampoo or a purple toner to cancel out the orange and then put your dye on. Hope that helped💗
i use directions mixed with conditioner and I have to dye my hair once a week because after one wash my hair is basically a light peach :-)😭 sadly arctic fox isn't available where I live.

You should mix some of the hair dye with your conditioner so it lasts longer

melinda maybe you could mix it in a bowl each time you go to wash and condition your hair, mixing just a drop of color or so in 💗

I did this color and it lasted for almost 2 months full pigment and then faded to a cute pastel pink for a month and then I decided to do a more pastel and it rinsed out after two weeks I’m trying to find a color in between that will last for almost a month 😖
I tried sunset orange the best electric paradise and now I want virgin pink I just bought it and next will be wrath and I am gonna make a penny color #articfox the best mix it with conditioner and it will last longer and also I have two extra bottles I put shampoo and some of the dye on it and I have some conditioner mix with the dye just pour. youre not suppose to wash your hair for at least 3 days so the cuticle can close! :)

On my old tube that had been painted with tube paint it would stain my tub bad. With my brand new tube it's not staining.

Thing people have to realize fun color is an up keep an don't wash hair everyday cold water us color safe conditioner and shampoo and I have pink depositing conditioner and red to and if I go pink I'll get another pink depositing conditioner to lol to use ones a week

i have this hot pink hair clip extension i made from a full head hair extension i cut from.i wore it in my half up half down hairstyle ponytail my mom took me & my brother's to red ribbon we drove to the restaurant we stayed in the car for a few minutes then we got out.there was a line.my mom showed me & my bother's a dog video on her phone i heard a women said this about my hot pink hair clip (she's stupid she's stupid) i looked her her like (what) when the doors opened the women who called me stupid she walked is laughing cause she thought is was funny calling me stupid for hot pink hair.i told my mom when i got home.
