applied ed to northwestern (penn was easy second choice) and got in and my reaction vid is my prized possession right now. the joy in it is incredible. congrats to everyone who’s going to college this year!!!!

They applied early decision (ED like it says in the video title) I’m not American either haha so correct me if I’m wrong, but they can only apply to 1 school ED so usually it’s their dream school!
Hi, UK student here ( year 13) & I got a place at UPenn (whoop whoop class of 2025!!!). For US unis, you can send in an early decision to application to one university of your choice and you hear back from them in December. I applied early in the UK too (for Cambridge) and we here back at similar times. Hope this helped!

If this is true about the ivies, this is proof that many students are overcoming it and getting accepted anyways. Props to every ivy league student out there no matter what your background is.

Honestly it depends on the field you want to get into. Ivy League schools are the most prestigious and have alumni from the top companies so its basically a huge advantage than going to a random college that isn’t ranked
@@DreaddPlayz721 Actually not really. The undergradaute institution you attend hardly matters (especially in engineering and STEM). The only field it matters is in business/finance, but even then there's grad school. Plus, you can always get those connections by attending a top graduate school
