Hi Bob, built this in 1/72 scale, when my boys were boys ,always wanted it in 1/35 scale, very nice looking kit mate, best intructions ive seen in a long time , looking forward to the build 👍👍👍👍have a good one mate
Hi Bob, Thanks for the great review. I really like this kit. I am pretty sure that is a winch you are looking at. The IBG Bedford QLB Bofors Gun Tractor I am currently building has a very similar setup. I was thinking, like you. it was used for maneuvering the artillery into position. I'm definitely going to have to look into getting one of these. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Hi Bob, great review. it certainly looks a very detailed kit; it looks like it puts the Tamiya one in the dark. I need to buy this kit as it would look fantastic as a stand-alone diorama in the desert. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧
The Tamiya kit is a Ford, the Peerless/Max kit is a Chevrolet, and this is a Morris. So I'm not too sure if the Tamiya Quad has been superceded yet. I wonder if Gecko is putting out a 25pdr for it. That would be great because it's been ages since I've seen the Dragon kit around.
@@kevinjohnson8220 there looks to be a limber in one of the built kit pictures on the side of the box, so I would think it is probable. Watch this space 👍😎
That's looking like a really good kit Bob! Unfortunately i don't have the knowledge to answer your question, but i agree looks like some type of a winch. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Received mine this morning,I also ordered the BRONCO version of the 25pdr & limber as it's supposed to be the best of the versions available! - but knowing my luck GECKO might bring a set out!.
Hi Bob, this loo km s to be a great kit, it looks to a a lot of parts, how soon will it be on the bench? Have a Very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Many thanks Les, when will it be on the bench is a good question. Probably, mid to end of January, if I can get the machinery truck finished, then move on to it? A merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. 👍🎄🎅
Nice!,MUCH better than the TAMIYA version, but then there is more than forty years difference, let's hope that they do bring out a 25 pounder & limber to go with it!.
Thanks Tony, I think you are right. It would be logical. Having said that Dragon have a 25pdr & limber kit out there (kit number 6774) which is really nice 🤔😳 cheers 👍

I’m not familiar with the model company but I have to say the instructions look awesome. Cool kit. Model on!
Thanks Mark, I think they are relatively new on the scene, but in my eyes that's anything made after the millenium!! 😆😆👍
