I think (this is probably so wrong ups) that the pills they took in District 9 are causing everyone but Hyunjin to have these side effects and he is the only one that can remember what they are actually in the city for (they obviously haven't overthrown the system yet we saw that in the trailer). Chan also sees these red flowers on the bus ride which also appear in Dostrict 9 which is why I think those two songs are closely linked. At the end I think the drugs are catching up to Hyunjin and he wakes up with the same mentality as his friends.
Or it could be the other way around and Hyunjin is the only one suffering from the side effects for some reason and thats why he's so aggressive because the voice in the back of the (first) choruskeeps saying "common side effects are nausea, insomnia (link there to I am who!) and aggression"
but honestly im pretty clueless and im waiting for them to just explain everything at one point haha

I’m not sure yet but from lyrics I think they’re talking about the side effects of being kpop artist ( *Faded voice in the background names the side effects but it’s hard to hear it over the music and also the split scene where they’re shown on the bus sleeping & walking on a dark road. I think thats them dreaming which makes it look like they never got on the bus* ) .....first theyre in the city with their MIROH MV and now it’s a combination concept of Hellevator & District 9. I’m sure i’m not the only one who noticed they elevator behind them, the city in the sky and the bus in the opener. *SIDE EFFECTS THAT FANS GET: COMPLETE SHOCK & CONFUSION* 😵😶 My biases are Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN, Felix. No i haven’t forgotten about my Seumi (Seungmin) and I.N, I love and support all members b/c i don’t believe in the useless term “bias wrecker”.
