My bad on mispronouncing a few words here, I've always pronounced it as "nee-poh" for some reason. Also I see people pointing out how I said "hair" to the throne. Yall got me! I'm not the smartest guy when it comes to vocabulary despite my entire page being centered around video essays. 😅

The problem is that these kids try to rap about the same things that their father rapped about but hip hop at its core is about rapping about what you know (even though there are a lot of actors in hip hop) if they smart they'd rap about other things than street stuff. My big bro is obsessed with hood culture. It kinda started when he turned 15. At first, he went from being a comic book kid from the suburbs to wanting to buy $200 Jordans almost overnight. As he got older, he put on an accent and started using more slang. He'd buy fake chains and even showed off his fake Gucci belt he got for 20 bucks at a flea market in Florida; I told all his friends that his belt was fake because that's what bros do. The thing that parents don’t realize is the fact that no matter how well they may feel they did in raising a child, unfortunately they have no control over the perception of the life that child felt that they lived while under them. All you can do is love them the best you can with the resources you have and hope that they have appreciation for your struggle in providing those things while making the best of their lives as young adults.

Not gonna lie, both syre and the next album by jaiden were actually good, it was a vibe, I feel it wasn't critiqued fairly.

I honestly have no qualms with black nepo babies. Others have done this for years and generations (see the Fonda, Coppola, Redgrave, Baldwin, Gerber and Barrymore families) building dynasties in the entertainment industry. Ice Cube made an excellent point about this regarding his own son. Now with hip hop, there's a "problem". And let's be real the "nepo baby" who has seen the most success is the one whose parent had the least influence (Zino hadn't been relevant in years and was living at the Red Roof Inn when Coi took off) is Coi because people actually consume her music and her father actually had little to do with her career.
