    More things that make me want to offload my Tacx Neo 2T and get something with the latest features. Especially with my Neo reading 10% lower than my Assioma Duo and now the Wahoo SP Zero single sided pedals (couldn't pass up trying speedplay finally for $325USD).

    Nice! Trainer control using the D-fly buttons sounds good! I'm at work now so haven't watched the video yet other than the first 15 seconds.... but I'd love to see that feature on other trainers too :)

    Great to see Elite doing Di2 integration. My partner has a Zwift Hub one and the virtual gearing is great, but I found myself wishing that I could just use my Di2 controls instead of the Zwift ‘click’ remote. Hopefully this will push Garmin/Tacx and Wahoo to do this as well.

    • @gplama

      That would be excellent. I don’t think we’ll ever see that level of integration. That requires two companies to work together. Shimano is unlikely to come to the table.

    yeah I had what seems to be an issue with my direto XR. The power kept yoyoing. My guess is that the setting for smoothness was set at 3 and perhaps it should be lower? I did a recalibration and using the newest firmware it seems to have fixed it but I think 10hz would help. Is there a guide for knowing how I should set that setting in the app? Also should I be calibrating with the app and then with Zwift as well or just Zwift? I heard you need to spin it up faster for that to work correctly?

    Is anyone else owning a Justo having the dreaded and well-known flywheel wobble that already plagued the Elite Suito years ago? I'm expecting my third unit to arrive next week, the previous two Justos both had the flywheel wobble and in addition, hardware revision 2 seemed to have experienced a sharp drop in build quality (dents in the housing even under the paint, messed up edges on the body, rough paintjob, plastic splinters everywhere). I'm really saddened by this because feature-wise I think the Justo blows both the Tacx Neo 2T and the Kickr V6 out of the water.

    I bough my justo last year as new from big market and now checked odometer showing 31000km lool. I’m wondering if it’s some bug or what. The trainer was originally packed and no sign of usage. Really weird.

    Thank you for the video Shane--very helpful as always! I have a question---I want to fine tune the RD with the cassette on the trainer, just like I would if there was a rear wheel. I'm trying to figure out how to get the trainer into a free-wheeling mode where there is absolutely zero resistance, regardless of what gear the bike is in. I cannot find a way to do this. I even tried to custom program a TrainerRoad work out with a 1watt interval, but that doesn't work as evidence when you put the bike in the highest gear, you end up having to put down at least 150watts to get the pedals to move. Any suggestions?

    • @gplama

      You'll need an app/tool to put the trainer into SIM mode (TrainerRoad is ERG or level mode only iirc), and then set a negative simulated gradient. -10% should remove almost all resistance only leaving the flywheel/belt drag to push against.

    • @bikedawg

    • @_J.F_

      @@gplama I don't know if this answers your question but if you run Shimano 105 Di2 in S2 mode, and do all your shifting with e.g. the right hand shifter, then you can assign the left hand shifter buttons to e.g. page through the screens on your head unit.

      You can configure any of the buttons to do any of the options, even d-fly. So it might be a hassle to switch back and forth in the E-tube app but you could use any shifters.

    So if Elite can do this why can’t we get race mode on our v5 kickrs? Is it Wahoo just trying to get people to upgrade?

    • @MrSuicycle

      There is race mode on the V5. But you have to use the ethernet adapter for it to work.

    • @ggoben

      @@MrSuicyclemy point is Elite can do it over Bluetooth or Ethernet. That’s big. So why can’t my kickr v5 do race mode over Bluetooth? Is wahoo purposely making it only a Wi-Fi/Ethernet feature?

    How would pain mode effect a Zwift Race?

    • @gplama

      It’d be like switching your trainer difficulty to 0. It’d be harder to produce watts. Not a wise move is the quick answer.

  • @richardelsdon2027

    How does it decide what power to show to zwift when in pain break mode? Drop all watts and then hit pain break for a free 60s sprint finish? 😂

    • @gplama

      It still reports the watts you’re producing from the trainer.

    • @richardelsdon2027

      Oh ok, how do you produce power if it cuts the resistance? Or does it pain-break just reduce the resistance to the natural level of the trainer, so you can’t produce big power. Confused.

    • @gplama
