Thanks for posting. I've never seen this until today. This is the artform that I fell in love with. Dang, I wish traditional feature animation was still being produced.
Somebody needs to make a biopic about these two. There are many many biographical movies about individuals, but not so many about true friendship. The destiny that these two shared and co-created together is legendary.
Between those two, the making of Snow White, the strike, Howard Ashman, there’s a lot of aspects of the Disney story that would make for a compelling movie or miniseries.
Thanks much for sharing this! Lots of knowledge that transcends the times :) It's great to see some images of Walt acting and to see Frank show how Walt did it. I wonder if there is any video footage for Walt acting and pitching. It would be so interesting to see it since I have heard it was what he was great at.
Amazing right along with learning from the creating personality and intrigue skills for creating animated films in my copy of The Illusion of Life.🎯✏🐇🦌👦🏿🐻🎥🌅 Stay safe and keep it up!
This is like listening to Michelangelo talk about how to do sculpture. This is a pure treasure. Thank you for posting this.

Fortunately, I think we'll start seeing them make a comeback.
man I love your videos! especially the tutorial on how to animate on paper, it helped a lot ❤
They are returning already to the Western big screen. Mary Poppins Returns (2018) and The Bob's Burgers Movie (2022), for example.
Very informative! Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston are the true genius of animation.

Why are Pluto, & Goofy both dogs?
creative choices, obviously
They were developed from being background characters and both just so happened to be dogs in completely different formats.
