I respect your research and understand the amount of work that goes into these types of endeavors.
I build custom washboards and now even install pickups.

Holy hell.. are these on the market yet? My bloodhound has picked up the habit of "singing" every time I practice the damn harp. Could be a godsend for me. I'm curious about your electric harp as well. I recall that it works based on reading light within the reeds, but I'm curious if it still makes a physical sound beyond what's playing through the headphones/amp. Just trying to find the best solution for practicing with this hound around.
Thanks for any assistance, your products are giving me a shred of hope in reclaiming my practice time 🙏

      Ha ha!
My hound/lab cries when i play too.
I told her I’ll get better, but she doesn’t listen……

3 dbspl is the just noticeable difference. 6 dbspl is not half as loud, but it takes half the power.

The stethoscope is a clever way to amplify it. It reminds me of the old headphones they used to use on airplanes that just were tubes. I'm not sure how you'd record it, but it would be interesting to hear some stethoscope audio.

Thank you. I forgot about those old airplane headphones. My inspiration was actually based on even older technology.. the gramophone :-) It really works amazingly... its VERY loud.

Hi, are you able to bend with this harmonica? How is the playability compared to say a Special 20? Thanks.

I would also like to know this, before buying. Because the idea of having a quiet practice harp seems very appealing.
