    Sometimes when they quit spraying they get clogged up I put hot water with vinegar in it and let it set for a little while then keep pulling handle it starts spraying again.

      Thanks Theresa! My grandson just did a science project and used white vinegar to dissolve an eggshell.....so I thought the same thing))) Still have the one that doesn't work well. Going to put some vinegar in it and let it sit....I can always use it on the back porch ))

      We use vinegar to dissolve quail egg shells works great to pickle quail eggs.

    • @trendytree

      I found it on TH-cam . My nephew has quails and he gives me some. So I looked it up on TH-cam it showed you step by step how to dissolve the shells then just pull off the inter skin and pickle as you like with your own spices .

      We have the spin mop/bucket too! We use it on the back porch which has a brick surface. This video was made a couple of years ago and now I'm using another brand. You know we have to try new things! It's a Libman. Check that brand out. I think I actually prefer it better.

    You are adorable! Thanks for the video. Im guessing its ok to leave the remaining solotion in the mop for next time? I've had these before but they always stop working. I was curious if they stopped working due to leaving the solution it in.

    • @trendytree
      @trendytree  ปีที่แล้ว

      They do seem to stop working after a while....this video was made a few years ago and after the last one stopped working we did go ahead and try another brand just to see. I really have no complaints about the mop though, we sure got our money's worth out of it. And I always left solution in it, on purpose mainly for quick clean ups. The one we are using now is LibMan....so far so good and it has washable pads that are held on with velcro...makes changing out easier. We leave solution in it too.

    I had an o cedar mop but it just didn't last and the mop surface was too wide to fit between the toilet and the wall and the toilet and the tub. I have gone back to the swiffer wet jet for the bath and the Bona for the rest of the house. But anything is better than the old mop and buckets we used to have. I never felt like my floors were clean back then. I cringe when I go into a hospital and they are still using a mop and bucket system spreading germs from room to hallway and then on to the next room.

    In my experience, I wood never recommend these spray mops. The sprayers break so easily. My family goes through at least 2 per year. An now we have a random bin full of different types of spray mop pads.
    The O Cedar mop has to be my least favorite. We have gone through 3 of these since march of 2020. Writing this in April 2021. We have been doing anything to extend the life of this last mop. We screwed the broken pieces back in to place, taped the bottle to the mop so it wouldn't leak and now we splash water on the floor and go over it with the mop to prevent it from breaking more. We have 12+ O Cedar mop pads but I am not buying another one of theses.
    I want to find something that wouldn't break in 1,000,000. Even if it cost $200, it would be worth the price to stop repurchasing cheap mops and hurting the environment.
    If anyone has had success with these mops, cool! there better than old heavy mops. I also wrote this to deal with my frustration.
