12:00 to be honest thats a really nice sword for base stats. Sure the effect resistance isnt so good but if you only roll into it once (or maybe twice depending on your standards) you could mod it into crit damage and it would be perfect stats for a cleaver. A guide to all players: speed is important but not everything, especially with counter-set in the game. A piece with only 4 speed is okay if you high roll the other stats you are looking for!

@@mysidia I've played a lot of gacha's over the years and this game by far is the best for community feedback and them actually improving player experience. Like the changes they made to moonlight summons.
A good tip I learned about for gathering resources steadily is the Huchie Shop within Labyrinth, Tirel Castle in Chaos, Area 1 - Hall of Silence. Every day he has new items to buy (which afaik are shared between all other Labyrinth shops) in exchange for gold. Also if you're worried about having to dedicate a Labyrinth Compass to do this every day, you can simply yield the level after purchasing from the shop and you will get to keep what you bought as well as the Compass.
@@mysidia You can also go to Ritania 3-4 in adventure and take the North turn at the first crossroad. Talk to the goblin with the weapons as he also sells charms, bookmarks and catalysts (for a little more gold than Huchie). IMO it's worth especially if you have the gold to spare. Note that you cannot go to Unrecorded History 3-4 as it's a regular 3-level stage.
E7 is great, one of the few mobile games that has kept me engaged and interested long term. I also see you have 20k skystone which means I look forward to a Mysidia 17 hour livestream where you shop refresh those for bookmarks. My only complaints about epic7 is that gear crafting is a little too rng, and in pvp there are so many units in this game that I have a hard time remembering what each unit can do that Im fighting.
I know rng crafting is a pain and sometimes you spend lots of crafting material to get an average piece of gear. In PvP is not so hard to remember since the meta is reduce to 10 or 15 character which spares into three gameplay styles the cleaver, the bruiser and tanky
That sword you showed at 2 speed, i'd definitely try roll that. Even at 2 speed you've still got a chance for 26 and the atk+crit chance sub wasnt that bad, if you manage to dodge eff res you can mod it to something else. Don't mean to backseat too much but yeah I definitely think it would be worth a +6 to see how it starts
The new player experience in E7 is actually amazing, and they're super good to free players too. The community is also super great and willing to help new players figure out what they're doing. I'm glad to see a video like this! =)
I and my friend started too like 1 month ago but its not super friendly to do anything here f2p or even with small spending, we dont have items or cant upgrade them due to lack of charms, gacha is okay'ish but upgrading everything etc is pain in ass for fresh account ;p 2x wyvern farm weeks and got nothing \o/ but Ill continue play for the nice "arts" and pray for more luck :l Peira made me stay :3
@@HakubiDouji Wdym, it's very f2p friendly, the recent collab gave you a free 120 summons which is a guaranteed 5 star of your choice, and also handed out a free ml 5 star. The only real problem I have with the game is that getting coins is extremely difficult. And unequip costs a ton of them as well.
Dude, I'm so happy you made this lol been waiting on it for a while and you're doing great from what you've shown. I think you explained everything about the game very well and you have a healthy mindset when it comes to gearing. I've seen new people join and then learn about gear score and rage quit. Getting gear to clear PvE will give you more and more shot at great gear down the road. The game overall has gotten more and more generous as time has gone on and they've revamped the new player experience to really help people learn the systems along with rewarding them appropriately for engaging in all the content. Collab units as of late have been pretty nutty so glad to hear you're swooping them all up as they come out. Happy holidays!

Well said. Gear can be very frustrating I get it but, I just wish ppl wouldnt try to get stats like their fav streamer, lvl serviceable gear then replace it later right.
Been playing since release and ngl the best thing i love in E7 is the character builds as we can always come up with ridiculous builds that no body expects xD its always fun to see how they work and how they make opponents react in rta 😏
I've been playing E7 since probably mid 2019 - I had so much fun on my main, but at a point it started to get a bit repetitive, so I ended up making a challenge account where I only use 3*s, 9 months later it is now my main account because I'm having so much fun on it. It's incredibly motivating knowing that even 3* units can do the content that 5*s can, since there are plenty of games where anything that isn't the best "tier" simply doesn't function as well.
If u are hunting for speed I would not throw away any 2 speed pieces at least on speed set. If that piece is read it could still roll 5x 4 speed = 22 speed before reforge and then with reforge 27 speed. Even on a purple you could try with 2 speed msx after reforge being 23 there (with 2 speed start). In general red pieces with good subs are usually always worth trying while for purple you want the subs to be high rolled and on red mid rolls starting out are worth trying.
That's very interesting, I've been going off of a few guides I've seen on reddit and youtube and they say to throw away those pieces. I feel like if I kept all my 2 SPD pieces I'd run out of leveling materials pretty quickly, but I guess you just give up on the piece as soon as it rolls anywhere else?
@@mysidia yeah exactly. Depends on the stats of the gear ofc. If its red with good subs and doesnt roll speed but highrolls other useful stuff i keep it. Otherwise if i just "speed check" then yes, for purple if doesnt go speed just stop and throw it into the next one. If its red and doesnt go spd on the first one i usually give it one more try since it basicly just "downgraded" to a purple.
Very cool to see you playing E7! I've been playing since day 1, and have been sticking with it still. It's cool seeing your perspective on the game, given how long it's been out now. It's definitely hard to deny how beautiful this game is, with fluid UI, and overall flashiness of characters. I hope you stick with it! There is so much stuff to do in this game, while it does have its slow points at times, they've done a great job of keeping the content coming. Keep up the great content!
i started playing E7 last summer and i really love it. keep trying to get my friends on it but they always dismiss it cuz it's not that well known? either way, it's definitely a really fun game, super f2p friendly and updates really frequently so it's well worth it! and the art is super pretty too!
That +15 Bonesword you showed off actually isn't bad. Could be really good for someone with an already high base speed stat who needs more effectiveness and attack
even the three star units in this game can become gods with a good set of equipments. rolling for a good stats is harder than getting an ml 5* hero lol
glad to see that you started playing this game. I've also just started playing earlier this year and my account right now can auto most hunts and other pve contents. This game is very generous in giving resources for pulling. My advice is just save for group summons or limited/collab events and pass on the regular banners since you may just pull those units in your free daily summon or free 5* tickets. btw I'm also using the same wyvern 13 team up till now lol. As someone who has played many many gacha, e7 has been my main one these last 2 years, I think this was a great overall review of the game. The biggest catch I will "correct" is that speed piece with the 2spd is actually such a good piece. Ideally you want good starting stats but it can roll better than one that had higher starting stats, so don't throw those away because it had spd,atk%, crit and as a red piece it could hypothetically be around 20+ speed which is very very rare. But I will also add that the larger hiccup is that gear requires a lot to upgrade it, charms, gold, or other pieces.

I used to watch all your videos back when I was still playing WotV a few years ago, and I was so surprised to find this video of you now talking about Epic 7, a game that I have been playing for a long time now. And I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the game, and your account looks really decent now compared to mine when my account was a few months old ^^ I hope you'll be able to play World Arena soon when your account is ready, cuz World Arena for me is the most fun game mode of Epic 7. Playing against real players in real time just feels different, and the banning and drafting phase is also fun cuz you're constantly trying to outsmart the other player. Just started e7 about two weeks ago and has been a great experience everyone’s very helpful and the games very fun and not to mention they have a pity system which is awesome
Epic Seven has been the most generous gacha I have played. Since release I have spent money only on a charity pack they did where all proceeds went to charity, and have collected every Red, Green and Blue category hero as well as most of the Light and Dark ones. Sure, I had to skip a few units and get them randomly from various sources like the daily free summons (which they once in a while turn into 10 free summons a day for larger events like anniversaries and such) or on reruns when I had the resources to spare, but I was always able to save up between most banners to summon them guaranteed for free. I also were disciplined and stuck to one copy and never went for the RGB Artifact if it weren't a Limited to be fair and I'd always try to make sure I had enough for at least 2 pities every 2 months or so because that is when a Limited unit tends to show up or a potential collab. Today I sit with a whole bunch of maxed out characters and maxed out copies of the absolute best of the best Artifacts with a load of free resources to spare since I can just skip rerun banners of units I now own. In the long run my tactic paid off when I wanted to try approach the game as a F2P player.
Oh nice. I remember you saying you were checking out Epic 7. I really enjoy it and have been playing a while. You're right about raising units, there becomes a point when it's super easy, unless they release a bunch of units in a row, like the Aespa collab lol. Also, I've been able to summon most RGB units just by playing. I only buy the occasional mystic pack, it's very f2p regarding RGB units. MLs are a little different as a low spender lol. But if you plan right and refresh the shop you can do alright. For pvp I can get into Challenger when I really try. My fastest unit is Ran at 290. I'm able to get by with so-so speed gear, even though I do play more aggressively. If I wanted to push higher I would need better speed gear or invest a lot more in turn 2 characters.
Sounds like the game really settles into a manageable state once you've been playing long enough, I'm excited to get to that point, I still feel like there are 1000 things for me to do. Also, that's a fast Ran you have there!
Oh yeah you'll level out eventually. And there will be a point where some new characters are side grades to characters you already have and then you can skip them if you're low on resources lol. There are only two sticking points for me, the constant gear grind but you already know that and some of the RNG with unit abilities and procs/counters. It doesn't ruin it all for me. I take it pretty easy and have fun and I'm sure you will too. If you did make videos for the game I would watch, I like your style lol. My Ran has all my good speed gear, my next fastest is a big drop from that speed lol. But with Zio out that changes things too.
THANKYOU for the gear section. I love E7 , but the amount of layers that go into crafting ONE good piece makes me want to cry . they helped with the monthly events where you can craft one good piece but they can still roll terribly
I've been playing E7 for years and i was very confused in the start. It was a relatively new game not many people talked about it so I had no guide. I got hooked as soon as I started playing and seeing the cool animation and characters. The gear and sets in this game are very easy to understand as well as the artifacts. The story is very interesting as well with every storyline continuing with had begun and sets up for the next chapter. I honestly feel sad when characters that I use on a daily to play die in the story. My only problem with the game is its RNG other than that I've have enjoyed my E7 experience and hope that the game has more collaboration and add more co op for us to play
I've been playing E7 since global launch back in 2018 and let me tell you, you'll get all the RGB units (ice, fire and earth) eventually and if you're lucky, some moonlight units too. This is a game where your focus is gear. This is a very F2P game. With that said, the only big flaw I'd say E7 has is the RNG. You have spoonfuls of RNG everywhere from gear rolling to actual combat. If that doesn't bother you, go and play the. Game cuz you'll probably like it.
I’m basically a day one player, and the thing that has kept me in the game this long is how generous the game is with it’s premium currency via the passive sanctuary and weekly arena rewards. It takes some grinding but eventually you’ll get to a point where you can pity every new RGB unit they release just by doing shop refreshes for bookmarks.

As a player of Epic7 for more than 3 years, i like to see new people experiences. I hope you'll have fun ^^ there is more crafting in the santuary (top right, i forgot the name sorry xD), that's usually less random but expeditions are needed to be farmed. One little tip is speed roll, try always 1-2 upgrade on Red gears with a starting speed roll, you could easily start with 2 speed and get to 10, then good luck xD
I recommend you don't throw away flat stats for necklace and ring if they have good substats because the units have different stats depending on their constellation so sometimes units need flat stats more than percent stats
This is very interesting, I've never heard of units wanting flat stats more than percentages before this. Do you mind explaining that more of my learning, or if you know a good guide that explains it I'd be very grateful!
@@mysidia you can take ae-karina as an example I have around 2.5k Def on her because I gave her a flat Def ring she actually has lower Def when compared to krau so she will benefit more on flat Def than on percent Def
For a new player or even for a lategame player, you shouldn't jst dismantle a spd gear based on its initial spd. Bcuz u can still get more than enough rolls while upgrading the gear. U don't NEED highest speed to be good at PvP
@@mysidia yes, even whales who have been playing for years don't even discard purple gear with low initial spd sub. Another tip for gear I can give is don't discard any gear if it has gotten focused rolls on a particular substat regardless of how useless it might currently seem cuz every character has diff scalings
I’ve played dragon ball legends, genshin impact etc, and Epic 7 has came out at the top as the best gacha game i’ve played. It’s super free to play friendly and you basically dont need to spend huge(or dont need to spend any money at all.) on the game to get all the RGB 5 star characters and artifacts. Just play the game everyday and level up and build your characters so you can auto farm the hunts to get money,loot and gear. The weapon and accessory refinement though is the one thing you’ll hate about the game but everything else has been a great experience. Been playing it for 4 years now and I’m still enjoying it :).
I need to follow my own advice apparently! I was following a guide that said to keep 4 speed, as a new player I didn't question it. Many commenters have brought it up so I have learned that lesson!
Speed sub stat on a red piece of gear is always worth rolling even if it was 1 speed, especially if the gear is speed set. 4x5 = 20 speed rerforge ur looking at 25 speed on that piece with a base 1 red. alot of the gear is shareable with other units.

An epic piece with a starting speed of 2 is still absolutely worth upgrading. If it max pentarolls in speed, it's a 26 speeder. If instead of max, it rolls 3 average speed, it's still a 21 speeder. Both incredibly rare, but you miss all the shots you don't take. You won't know unless you upgrade it to +6. That's called speed checking. Always speed check your epic gear to at least +6, regardless of starting speed and regardless of set. If it minimum rolls or never rolls into speed at +6, then yeah, it should be trashed, but otherwise you're missing out on a potential 20 speeder.

You were on the right track overall in terms of keeping an eye on starting substats, but on epic pieces high rolls can make up for low starting subs. Low rolling once isn't a big deal either, you can still get bangers, just make sure to quit before it gets expensive at +9 and +12. It's heroic pieces you should be ruthless about. 💀
Epic 7; arguably the best gacha I have ever played on mobile. I started when Diene first came out (so when the game was a little more than a year old) and never had stayed on my phone ever since. It’s very crazy every unit is viable (or at least if you make a team around that unit) and the combination teams are endless! Plus there are a lot of dungeons to try out and the PvP is also great because the main gacha are the gear stats. :) I wish they do more for labyrinth because it’s actually my favorite mode to do. At first I was iffy about collabs but they turn out to be great like the slime diaries and the one anime with ren, Rem and Emilia collaboration (can’t remember name) I highly recommend this game to anyone because it also a very generous gacha. Edit: I forgot to mention SmileGate is probably the only ones who actually listen to their customers and will try their best with each monthly maintenance balance update.
As f2p player E7 is the most f2p friendly game I've played, gear grind can be a little pain in ass but atleast I don't have to spend tons of money to make a character playable...and don't skip the story it's actually good and have some nice animation
I really hope you enjoy the game. The new player AND f2p experience is great. PvP isn't forced either and there's a ton of content. If you ever need help, there's a ton of places to reach out.
I also one of E7 players(play almost 2 years), glad to see u enjoy the game... gacha wise is mostly ok if u know how to store skystone and bookmarks( try to pull when there is limited banner that mostly good and sometime they come out custom banner which u can choose three heroes that u want), agree also with the character model is pretty good compare to other gacha games but recent EN character voice quality kinda bad.. that just from my opinion.. Yea speed wise sure the main factor to farm 1st to play pvp to cleave but as u progress further u got more heroes like politis and celine type heroes that u can try other style to team in pvp Gear is just day to day grind and one of the content that depends on players patient and luck of course RNG base stats , eventually u get decent equipment but takes time , this is where players like the grind or not.. of course u can play casual also when some event that give u free equipment set that help u for awhile.
Its completely normal to take a long time to upgrade characters to 6 star early on. But honestly, its WAAAAAAAAAAAAY easier now because the game changed so much through the years that now its really quick to get resources. My tip is to put a strong units for other players to use as support so you can get a lot of Friendship points, and with those points you can roll for low level monsters, and then level up those monsters and fuse them together so you can upgrade your actual strong characters. Though I would say that its important to choose which characters you upgrade to 6 stars, because some of them are not really worth it unless you really like to use them.

Currently on my 16-th day. Enjoying the Adin grind. I Also purposefully did 0 crafting except missions. I'm trying to see if the free gears (+some arena gears) are enough to carry you and I think It does from what I see. Currently at Challenger Arena(stuck) no RTA atleast not yet. Never done raids and expeditions yet. I kinda wanna focus getting Savior Adin for now and also saving my currency to pull for summer iseria arttifact since I just mainly want ML Flan since she's the reason why I even started playing.
i wanna say that yes speed is important but to counter those type of builds you just have to be tanky or a lot of hp and also depending on the type of character you have speed set isnt really an option and there are units who can cr push (combat readiness push) to help those slow tanky or very powerful units
2 year player here (started during the first Re:Zero collab). I do like the game but the gear system is extremely awful. So, so, so much RNG. You have to go through many multiple layers to ever get anything good (not passable, not amazing, just decent/good). Let's get into it... There are 3 layers of RNG when crafting (will my gear roll blue, purple, or red?), 4 layers of RNG when initial stats roll (are all 4 stats relevant? did I get any flat stats?), another 4 layers of RNG for how efficient stats roll (did I get minimum, mid, or max for each of my 4 starting stats?), another 4 layers of RNG to determine which of the 4 stats raises when upgrading (did I raise crit chance and crit damage like I wanted, or did it all roll into effect resistance?), and then another 5 layers of RNG going from +0 to +15 (did my stat roll min, mid, or max at +3, +6, +9, +12, and +15?). In total there are 20 layers of RNG to go through before you can get what is considered a good/high end gear score item (3 for rarity, 4 for relevance, 4 for initial efficiency, 4 for "focusing", and 5 for upgrade efficiency). And that's assuming it's a red piece of gear. Add another layer for purple gear and two more layers for blue gear. Also, add another layer if it's a "right side gear" (necklace, ring, boots) for the main stat, and finally add another layer to get the set you want (each hunt can give between 3 to 4 different sets). This process is so excruciatingly unfair honestly. There are so many chances and so many paths at so many different times throughout the process for the piece to become not just bad, but complete dogshit. Yes, you can make concessions and accept a below average piece of gear, but eventually you will want to improve your heroes and of EVERY gacha I've played, this is the hardest to do it in. After 2 years of playing and thousands of leif (stamina replenisher), and countless gear crafting, I only have one 20 speed piece. These are so rare that among the entire playerbase you'll see one or two threads showcasing them a week. And these pieces are necessary to compete at high end PvP where everyone has 280+ speed i.e. multiple 20+ speed pieces per character.
From many gatcha games, I always tell my friends how generous E7 has to offer. Maybe from other gatcha games, there are some that has better stories to immerse yourself into but E7 story is pretty good for me, from the lore to the moonlight character stories. But one of best thing about E7 is probably the bgm. The only downside is, the amount of time u need to craft gears and pray to RNG god for speed, but these days speed aren't that reliable it's more to unit chemistry and counters(for PVP). But if you're here for the game experience, just chill and it's not bad at all, you might just enjoy the game.
I hate this game, but i also love it. tried to get away from it., but always end up comming back. Once i deleted my day 1 acc to not come back, but a year ago i just made another. Its a difficult relationship. Edit: DO NOT trow away your epic speed gear without checking the speed rolls. A starting 2 speed gear could go up to 22 speed at lvl 15(+4 speed/every 3 lvl) and it would be an insane piece. lvl it up to +6 to see how it goes.
Disclaimer for the game: You WILL Mald! You WILL get frustrated. BUT, as a F2P player that's been playing for a year and a half, it is a lot of fun. Things I would recommend would be to get your Wyvern 13 team ready first and then work on Banshee and then the other hunts. And get into a community, whether that's on Twitch or on TH-cam or Discord. Also, if you want, read the story, it's pretty good. Anyways, it's awesome seeing another person enjoying the game, keep it up.
Wanted to try epic 7, downloaded it and was working. But when I had to open it for a second time all I get is 0.0% connecting and nothing changes. I looked it up and this has been a problem for years???? Game can't even run why would anyone play this.
Still playing since launch and ive been off and on but im back into it again and cant put it down lol. Got mad characters and artifacts etc. Ive spent a decent amount of money on this game. But i dont regret it. Every dime was well worth it. The game is amazing. The only issue is grinding and farming. Takes awhile...but its a gacha game so it is what it is. But the rates for the gacha arent bad and you get a lot of ways to pull. Overall id recommend this game to anyone honestly. Id give it a 9/10 for a rating that's how much i enjoy it 😉

Epic Seven! my first ever "serious" gacha game. I'm glad you enjoy your time with it Mysidia :D I think it's one of the most generous game in term of currency, I never feel the need to spend when I play back then, and as you already mentioned-- the game put alot of effort in their animation and stuff, alot of really really high quality stuff there. hell. even the ads they put alot effort into, they make a promotional video and (to my knowledge) an original song for it and it's really good. I did end up quitting the game, and I'm kinda sad the main reason why I quit is still a problem even now-- the gear grind. Early on the gear grind is'nt so bad, it's really not that hard to get a decent enough gear to upgrade your characters early on. however as your gear gets better...the grind gets really really frustrating lol. I'm not sure if it's still a thing, but I remember unequipping gear from units used to cost money as well. it's probably not that big of a deal now, but it was really annoying additional cost that you have to deal with back then. Overall though, I agree with you! it's a pretty solid game. I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone that haven't play it, but if the gear talk sounds like a deal breaker for you then. you can either just play for the story or stay away completely o__o
The crafting is definitely the biggest hurdle this game throws at players, I think they need to give some well set up gear of all varieties of sets to new players. It would never give them too much power in PVP if it was level 70 stuff with the right sub stats but low values. But Smilegate is continually making the new player experience more friendly so I should wait and see what they come up with next.
Epic Seven is one of those gacha games where whaling will just give you little advantage over units and artifacts since this game just give away energies like candy and is heavily equipment reliant. You can have all units with SSS imprints and level 30 artifacts but if your gear is shit, you'll definitely lose against a no imprint unit with level 15 artifact and good gear assuming both of you use the same unit. Also, speed and RNG are the kings of Epic Seven.
Great points. Played FFBE day one until you needed like 8 of a unit to make it playable & the atrocious off banner rate. Im end game day one E7, welcome aboard, its fantastic & rewarding. Like you said it isnt a race, youre well ahead of schedule & dont forget to do your ml 5 selector.
It's so hard to get this right, I've been making videos for years and a video will come out and someone will say its too loud, but it never sounds that way in the editor. I'm at a loss xD Was it a specific part of the video or the whole thing?

But most bigger streamers and creators got me to where I am with the setup, so it would be unique to change settings for a small youtuber. So I hope you can make something out of it.

In regards to the crafting point, it is a bit of a problem if you want to play competitively. However if you are just playing for entertainment you don't need a great build to play since PvE isn't impossible at almost any point. If you're struggling sometimes you just need to use a different unit or team comp. PvP though as far as I've seen on it is very competitive due to how long the games been around and how devoted alot of the PvP players have been.
There are some meta changes due to new characters or actually balance patches Nerfing units is rare but still happens from time to time but like the dude in video said you get a full refund if you are not happy about the nerfs (I still wouldn’t refund any units cause they still have their spot in game or actually they might get a buff in future patches) but in general there isn’t that many meta changes
Epic Seven is a GORGEOUS game; exciting animations, excellent voice acting, great story (better than WotV in some respects, even the side stories), and a decent pity system. Its biggest weakness, in my opinion, is the RNG-heavy crafting system. Gear is critical in high level competitive gameplay so you can't escape it and you will have to suck it up and grind. After about 2 years, the farming grind killed the fun for me so I've stopped playing since. I hope you're able to have a good run of this game though; it's excellent if it didn't have PvP. For new players (that includes you Mysidia!) interested in this game, I suggest you check out Moga who used to cover E7 extensively (not so much now). Most of his E7 content is (probably) still relevant today but more importantly he has a fun and approachable style that I think many Mysidia viewers would enjoy.
crafting sounds a lot like genshin with the substats and passives (not saying who is copying who, just an observation of a game I've played). I didn't mind it in Genshin so much since I'm not heavy into super min/maxing but it always gives something to be working for.
It has similarities but e7 definitely has the better gear system First of all you need to spend energy to farm hunt modes to get crafting materials and even if it seems similar to genshin with resin and domains it is a big different Cause not like in genshin you get loaded with energy so you can farm way more hunts in e7 than domains in genshin Second is the crafting in general in genshin purple gear is trash, there may be some cases where you could use a purple gear but in general you can only use golden ones and in genshin to roll usable golden gear is quite rare not impossible but hard While in e7 sure golden gear is better but purple still has it places way more often than in genshin And on top of that every 20 (I think it was) gear crafted you get 1 golden gear piece of your choice as an extra of your normal drops And last if you have a really good piece but one substat is bad or not usable on that character e7 has substat reroll so you can change your substat to a different substat you want But I’m not saying e7 is perfect cause there is the substat called speed and in a game which is turn based pvp speed is an important substat to get the first turn There are units that don’t rely on speed and instead they are bulky tanks that actually is meta right now but cleaving is also a really fun gamestyle which you need speed for And speed rolling is cursed that a big downside but E7 is still a very fun game and even many dislike pvp i really like playing pvp in e7
its easily the most generous gacha game out there.....its premium currency which is skystone is either can be easily farmed or the game will just give it to you
I love that E7 is getting more attention and i want to thank you for showcasing it and i wish you the best. SG is doing an awful work on promoting the game and the game is imo one of the best gachas out. I've played it for the past 3 years and I got 95% of the characters as a f2p (missing 12 ML5s). I hope it gets more love and more attention from people.

I stopped playing after a year and a bit, not because I didn't like it, but because I just decided that I wanted to spend my time elsewhere. The grinding gear aspect took a long time and I think I just outgrew it
During craft events where you can craft 1 specific item 99% of the time you should craft Speed main stat boots of the set that you need, since getting those are rare and difficul Craft right side gear (weapon, armor, helm) with the hunt mats, easier to get acceptable gear there Speed is good, but it is not end all and the only truth
This game is really friendly towards F2P players. Pretty simplistic start goals of, "Get to GOLD in ARENA" and "Be able to do SHIELDLESS Wyvren 13." Everything else is pretty irrelevent for the F2P player, it's definitely a very grindy game and time is required. A lot of time is required for this game. If you don't have 2 hours to devote to Epic Seven daily, I just wouldn't. It's nothing personal, but you need to basically balance 20 HUNT runs or 20 RUNE runs or 20 ADVENTURE runs daily. And, another thing is knowing how to balance your energy out... Like don't burn all of your energy on non event hunts. It's not a good idea. Generally speaking its best to do your adventuring, stock up on materials and what not... and then on some weekends we get a hunt event or rune event and you just GO OFF on that event! 5000 energy burned. You end up getting your Specialty Change units complete in this manner and tons of gear that's going to replace free gear. HUNTING W13 IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THIS GAME! You basically will hold CHALLENGER in PVP with 200 speed units. CHAMPION in Arena is a bit harder to hold, requires a bit more, investment than the basics, but it's a really fun game! Worth the time!

Speaking of the star upgrading system in this game, I highly enjoy the fact that exp gets stored into eggs to give you penguins. I farm with my actual heroes to build friendship, then I can just quickly max material characters with those penguins, then mass evolve them! MASS EVOLVE. Everytime I do this I think of how tedious and painful it was to do manually in Summoners War.

12:00 to be honest thats a really nice sword for base stats. Sure the effect resistance isnt so good but if you only roll into it once (or maybe twice depending on your standards) you could mod it into crit damage and it would be perfect stats for a cleaver.
A guide to all players: speed is important but not everything, especially with counter-set in the game. A piece with only 4 speed is okay if you high roll the other stats you are looking for!

A good tip I learned about for gathering resources steadily is the Huchie Shop within Labyrinth, Tirel Castle in Chaos, Area 1 - Hall of Silence. Every day he has new items to buy (which afaik are shared between all other Labyrinth shops) in exchange for gold. Also if you're worried about having to dedicate a Labyrinth Compass to do this every day, you can simply yield the level after purchasing from the shop and you will get to keep what you bought as well as the Compass.
This is awesome, I've been doing the shop every day but I didn't know you could save your compass!
@@mysidia You can also go to Ritania 3-4 in adventure and take the North turn at the first crossroad. Talk to the goblin with the weapons as he also sells charms, bookmarks and catalysts (for a little more gold than Huchie). IMO it's worth especially if you have the gold to spare. Note that you cannot go to Unrecorded History 3-4 as it's a regular 3-level stage.
E7 is great, one of the few mobile games that has kept me engaged and interested long term. I also see you have 20k skystone which means I look forward to a Mysidia 17 hour livestream where you shop refresh those for bookmarks.
My only complaints about epic7 is that gear crafting is a little too rng, and in pvp there are so many units in this game that I have a hard time remembering what each unit can do that Im fighting.

I know rng crafting is a pain and sometimes you spend lots of crafting material to get an average piece of gear. In PvP is not so hard to remember since the meta is reduce to 10 or 15 character which spares into three gameplay styles the cleaver, the bruiser and tanky

That sword you showed at 2 speed, i'd definitely try roll that. Even at 2 speed you've still got a chance for 26 and the atk+crit chance sub wasnt that bad, if you manage to dodge eff res you can mod it to something else. Don't mean to backseat too much but yeah I definitely think it would be worth a +6 to see how it starts

The only real problem I have with the game is that getting coins is extremely difficult. And unequip costs a ton of them as well.
Dude, I'm so happy you made this lol been waiting on it for a while and you're doing great from what you've shown. I think you explained everything about the game very well and you have a healthy mindset when it comes to gearing. I've seen new people join and then learn about gear score and rage quit. Getting gear to clear PvE will give you more and more shot at great gear down the road.
The game overall has gotten more and more generous as time has gone on and they've revamped the new player experience to really help people learn the systems along with rewarding them appropriately for engaging in all the content.
Collab units as of late have been pretty nutty so glad to hear you're swooping them all up as they come out.

Been playing since release and ngl the best thing i love in E7 is the character builds as we can always come up with ridiculous builds that no body expects xD its always fun to see how they work and how they make opponents react in rta 😏
I've been playing E7 since probably mid 2019 - I had so much fun on my main, but at a point it started to get a bit repetitive, so I ended up making a challenge account where I only use 3*s, 9 months later it is now my main account because I'm having so much fun on it. It's incredibly motivating knowing that even 3* units can do the content that 5*s can, since there are plenty of games where anything that isn't the best "tier" simply doesn't function as well.

If u are hunting for speed I would not throw away any 2 speed pieces at least on speed set. If that piece is read it could still roll 5x 4 speed = 22 speed before reforge and then with reforge 27 speed. Even on a purple you could try with 2 speed msx after reforge being 23 there (with 2 speed start). In general red pieces with good subs are usually always worth trying while for purple you want the subs to be high rolled and on red mid rolls starting out are worth trying.
That's very interesting, I've been going off of a few guides I've seen on reddit and youtube and they say to throw away those pieces. I feel like if I kept all my 2 SPD pieces I'd run out of leveling materials pretty quickly, but I guess you just give up on the piece as soon as it rolls anywhere else?
@@mysidia yeah exactly. Depends on the stats of the gear ofc. If its red with good subs and doesnt roll speed but highrolls other useful stuff i keep it. Otherwise if i just "speed check" then yes, for purple if doesnt go speed just stop and throw it into the next one. If its red and doesnt go spd on the first one i usually give it one more try since it basicly just "downgraded" to a purple.

Very cool to see you playing E7! I've been playing since day 1, and have been sticking with it still. It's cool seeing your perspective on the game, given how long it's been out now. It's definitely hard to deny how beautiful this game is, with fluid UI, and overall flashiness of characters. I hope you stick with it! There is so much stuff to do in this game, while it does have its slow points at times, they've done a great job of keeping the content coming. Keep up the great content!
i started playing E7 last summer and i really love it. keep trying to get my friends on it but they always dismiss it cuz it's not that well known? either way, it's definitely a really fun game, super f2p friendly and updates really frequently so it's well worth it! and the art is super pretty too!

glad to see that you started playing this game. I've also just started playing earlier this year and my account right now can auto most hunts and other pve contents. This game is very generous in giving resources for pulling. My advice is just save for group summons or limited/collab events and pass on the regular banners since you may just pull those units in your free daily summon or free 5* tickets. btw I'm also using the same wyvern 13 team up till now lol. As someone who has played many many gacha, e7 has been my main one these last 2 years, I think this was a great overall review of the game. The biggest catch I will "correct" is that speed piece with the 2spd is actually such a good piece. Ideally you want good starting stats but it can roll better than one that had higher starting stats, so don't throw those away because it had spd,atk%, crit and as a red piece it could hypothetically be around 20+ speed which is very very rare. But I will also add that the larger hiccup is that gear requires a lot to upgrade it, charms, gold, or other pieces.

Epic Seven has been the most generous gacha I have played. Since release I have spent money only on a charity pack they did where all proceeds went to charity, and have collected every Red, Green and Blue category hero as well as most of the Light and Dark ones. Sure, I had to skip a few units and get them randomly from various sources like the daily free summons (which they once in a while turn into 10 free summons a day for larger events like anniversaries and such) or on reruns when I had the resources to spare, but I was always able to save up between most banners to summon them guaranteed for free.
I also were disciplined and stuck to one copy and never went for the RGB Artifact if it weren't a Limited to be fair and I'd always try to make sure I had enough for at least 2 pities every 2 months or so because that is when a Limited unit tends to show up or a potential collab.
Today I sit with a whole bunch of maxed out characters and maxed out copies of the absolute best of the best Artifacts with a load of free resources to spare since I can just skip rerun banners of units I now own. In the long run my tactic paid off when I wanted to try approach the game as a F2P player.
Oh nice. I remember you saying you were checking out Epic 7. I really enjoy it and have been playing a while. You're right about raising units, there becomes a point when it's super easy, unless they release a bunch of units in a row, like the Aespa collab lol. Also, I've been able to summon most RGB units just by playing. I only buy the occasional mystic pack, it's very f2p regarding RGB units. MLs are a little different as a low spender lol. But if you plan right and refresh the shop you can do alright.
For pvp I can get into Challenger when I really try. My fastest unit is Ran at 290. I'm able to get by with so-so speed gear, even though I do play more aggressively. If I wanted to push higher I would need better speed gear or invest a lot more in turn 2 characters.
Sounds like the game really settles into a manageable state once you've been playing long enough, I'm excited to get to that point, I still feel like there are 1000 things for me to do. Also, that's a fast Ran you have there!
Oh yeah you'll level out eventually. And there will be a point where some new characters are side grades to characters you already have and then you can skip them if you're low on resources lol. There are only two sticking points for me, the constant gear grind but you already know that and some of the RNG with unit abilities and procs/counters. It doesn't ruin it all for me. I take it pretty easy and have fun and I'm sure you will too. If you did make videos for the game I would watch, I like your style lol.
My Ran has all my good speed gear, my next fastest is a big drop from that speed lol. But with Zio out that changes things too.

THANKYOU for the gear section. I love E7 , but the amount of layers that go into crafting ONE good piece makes me want to cry . they helped with the monthly events where you can craft one good piece but they can still roll terribly
I've been playing E7 for years and i was very confused in the start. It was a relatively new game not many people talked about it so I had no guide. I got hooked as soon as I started playing and seeing the cool animation and characters. The gear and sets in this game are very easy to understand as well as the artifacts. The story is very interesting as well with every storyline continuing with had begun and sets up for the next chapter. I honestly feel sad when characters that I use on a daily to play die in the story. My only problem with the game is its RNG other than that I've have enjoyed my E7 experience and hope that the game has more collaboration and add more co op for us to play
I've been playing E7 since global launch back in 2018 and let me tell you, you'll get all the RGB units (ice, fire and earth) eventually and if you're lucky, some moonlight units too. This is a game where your focus is gear. This is a very F2P game. With that said, the only big flaw I'd say E7 has is the RNG. You have spoonfuls of RNG everywhere from gear rolling to actual combat. If that doesn't bother you, go and play the. Game cuz you'll probably like it.
I’m basically a day one player, and the thing that has kept me in the game this long is how generous the game is with it’s premium currency via the passive sanctuary and weekly arena rewards. It takes some grinding but eventually you’ll get to a point where you can pity every new RGB unit they release just by doing shop refreshes for bookmarks.

there is more crafting in the santuary (top right, i forgot the name sorry xD), that's usually less random but expeditions are needed to be farmed.
One little tip is speed roll, try always 1-2 upgrade on Red gears with a starting speed roll, you could easily start with 2 speed and get to 10, then good luck xD
Watching this video after playing E7 for 3 years feels weird. A lot has changed over time.
I recommend you don't throw away flat stats for necklace and ring if they have good substats because the units have different stats depending on their constellation so sometimes units need flat stats more than percent stats

@@mysidia you can take ae-karina as an example I have around 2.5k Def on her because I gave her a flat Def ring she actually has lower Def when compared to krau so she will benefit more on flat Def than on percent Def

For a new player or even for a lategame player, you shouldn't jst dismantle a spd gear based on its initial spd. Bcuz u can still get more than enough rolls while upgrading the gear. U don't NEED highest speed to be good at PvP

I’ve played dragon ball legends, genshin impact etc, and Epic 7 has came out at the top as the best gacha game i’ve played. It’s super free to play friendly and you basically dont need to spend huge(or dont need to spend any money at all.) on the game to get all the RGB 5 star characters and artifacts. Just play the game everyday and level up and build your characters so you can auto farm the hunts to get money,loot and gear. The weapon and accessory refinement though is the one thing you’ll hate about the game but everything else has been a great experience. Been playing it for 4 years now and I’m still enjoying it :).

Speed sub stat on a red piece of gear is always worth rolling even if it was 1 speed, especially if the gear is speed set. 4x5 = 20 speed rerforge ur looking at 25 speed on that piece with a base 1 red. alot of the gear is shareable with other units.

An epic piece with a starting speed of 2 is still absolutely worth upgrading. If it max pentarolls in speed, it's a 26 speeder. If instead of max, it rolls 3 average speed, it's still a 21 speeder. Both incredibly rare, but you miss all the shots you don't take. You won't know unless you upgrade it to +6. That's called speed checking. Always speed check your epic gear to at least +6, regardless of starting speed and regardless of set. If it minimum rolls or never rolls into speed at +6, then yeah, it should be trashed, but otherwise you're missing out on a potential 20 speeder.

You were on the right track overall in terms of keeping an eye on starting substats, but on epic pieces high rolls can make up for low starting subs. Low rolling once isn't a big deal either, you can still get bangers, just make sure to quit before it gets expensive at +9 and +12. It's heroic pieces you should be ruthless about. 💀

Epic 7; arguably the best gacha I have ever played on mobile. I started when Diene first came out (so when the game was a little more than a year old) and never had stayed on my phone ever since.
It’s very crazy every unit is viable (or at least if you make a team around that unit) and the combination teams are endless!
Plus there are a lot of dungeons to try out and the PvP is also great because the main gacha are the gear stats. :)
I wish they do more for labyrinth because it’s actually my favorite mode to do.
At first I was iffy about collabs but they turn out to be great like the slime diaries and the one anime with ren, Rem and Emilia collaboration (can’t remember name)
I highly recommend this game to anyone because it also a very generous gacha.
Edit: I forgot to mention SmileGate is probably the only ones who actually listen to their customers and will try their best with each monthly maintenance balance update.
As f2p player E7 is the most f2p friendly game I've played, gear grind can be a little pain in ass but atleast I don't have to spend tons of money to make a character playable...and don't skip the story it's actually good and have some nice animation
I really hope you enjoy the game. The new player AND f2p experience is great. PvP isn't forced either and there's a ton of content. If you ever need help, there's a ton of places to reach out.
I also one of E7 players(play almost 2 years), glad to see u enjoy the game... gacha wise is mostly ok if u know how to store skystone and bookmarks( try to pull when there is limited banner that mostly good and sometime they come out custom banner which u can choose three heroes that u want), agree also with the character model is pretty good compare to other gacha games but recent EN character voice quality kinda bad.. that just from my opinion..
Yea speed wise sure the main factor to farm 1st to play pvp to cleave but as u progress further u got more heroes like politis and celine type heroes that u can try other style to team in pvp
Gear is just day to day grind and one of the content that depends on players patient and luck of course RNG base stats , eventually u get decent equipment but takes time , this is where players like the grind or not.. of course u can play casual also when some event that give u free equipment set that help u for awhile.

Its completely normal to take a long time to upgrade characters to 6 star early on. But honestly, its WAAAAAAAAAAAAY easier now because the game changed so much through the years that now its really quick to get resources. My tip is to put a strong units for other players to use as support so you can get a lot of Friendship points, and with those points you can roll for low level monsters, and then level up those monsters and fuse them together so you can upgrade your actual strong characters.
Though I would say that its important to choose which characters you upgrade to 6 stars, because some of them are not really worth it unless you really like to use them.

Currently on my 16-th day. Enjoying the Adin grind. I Also purposefully did 0 crafting except missions. I'm trying to see if the free gears (+some arena gears) are enough to carry you and I think It does from what I see. Currently at Challenger Arena(stuck) no RTA atleast not yet. Never done raids and expeditions yet. I kinda wanna focus getting Savior Adin for now and also saving my currency to pull for summer iseria arttifact since I just mainly want ML Flan since she's the reason why I even started playing.
i wanna say that yes speed is important but to counter those type of builds you just have to be tanky or a lot of hp and also depending on the type of character you have speed set isnt really an option and there are units who can cr push (combat readiness push) to help those slow tanky or very powerful units
2 year player here (started during the first Re:Zero collab). I do like the game but the gear system is extremely awful. So, so, so much RNG. You have to go through many multiple layers to ever get anything good (not passable, not amazing, just decent/good). Let's get into it...
There are 3 layers of RNG when crafting (will my gear roll blue, purple, or red?), 4 layers of RNG when initial stats roll (are all 4 stats relevant? did I get any flat stats?), another 4 layers of RNG for how efficient stats roll (did I get minimum, mid, or max for each of my 4 starting stats?), another 4 layers of RNG to determine which of the 4 stats raises when upgrading (did I raise crit chance and crit damage like I wanted, or did it all roll into effect resistance?), and then another 5 layers of RNG going from +0 to +15 (did my stat roll min, mid, or max at +3, +6, +9, +12, and +15?).
In total there are 20 layers of RNG to go through before you can get what is considered a good/high end gear score item (3 for rarity, 4 for relevance, 4 for initial efficiency, 4 for "focusing", and 5 for upgrade efficiency). And that's assuming it's a red piece of gear. Add another layer for purple gear and two more layers for blue gear. Also, add another layer if it's a "right side gear" (necklace, ring, boots) for the main stat, and finally add another layer to get the set you want (each hunt can give between 3 to 4 different sets). This process is so excruciatingly unfair honestly. There are so many chances and so many paths at so many different times throughout the process for the piece to become not just bad, but complete dogshit.
Yes, you can make concessions and accept a below average piece of gear, but eventually you will want to improve your heroes and of EVERY gacha I've played, this is the hardest to do it in. After 2 years of playing and thousands of leif (stamina replenisher), and countless gear crafting, I only have one 20 speed piece. These are so rare that among the entire playerbase you'll see one or two threads showcasing them a week. And these pieces are necessary to compete at high end PvP where everyone has 280+ speed i.e. multiple 20+ speed pieces per character.
From many gatcha games, I always tell my friends how generous E7 has to offer. Maybe from other gatcha games, there are some that has better stories to immerse yourself into but E7 story is pretty good for me, from the lore to the moonlight character stories. But one of best thing about E7 is probably the bgm. The only downside is, the amount of time u need to craft gears and pray to RNG god for speed, but these days speed aren't that reliable it's more to unit chemistry and counters(for PVP). But if you're here for the game experience, just chill and it's not bad at all, you might just enjoy the game.

I hate this game, but i also love it. tried to get away from it., but always end up comming back. Once i deleted my day 1 acc to not come back, but a year ago i just made another. Its a difficult relationship.
Edit: DO NOT trow away your epic speed gear without checking the speed rolls. A starting 2 speed gear could go up to 22 speed at lvl 15(+4 speed/every 3 lvl) and it would be an insane piece. lvl it up to +6 to see how it goes.
Disclaimer for the game: You WILL Mald! You WILL get frustrated.
BUT, as a F2P player that's been playing for a year and a half, it is a lot of fun. Things I would recommend would be to get your Wyvern 13 team ready first and then work on Banshee and then the other hunts. And get into a community, whether that's on Twitch or on TH-cam or Discord.
Also, if you want, read the story, it's pretty good.
Anyways, it's awesome seeing another person enjoying the game, keep it up.
Wanted to try epic 7, downloaded it and was working. But when I had to open it for a second time all I get is 0.0% connecting and nothing changes. I looked it up and this has been a problem for years???? Game can't even run why would anyone play this.
Still playing since launch and ive been off and on but im back into it again and cant put it down lol. Got mad characters and artifacts etc. Ive spent a decent amount of money on this game. But i dont regret it. Every dime was well worth it. The game is amazing. The only issue is grinding and farming. Takes awhile...but its a gacha game so it is what it is. But the rates for the gacha arent bad and you get a lot of ways to pull. Overall id recommend this game to anyone honestly. Id give it a 9/10 for a rating that's how much i enjoy it 😉

I think it's one of the most generous game in term of currency, I never feel the need to spend when I play back then, and as you already mentioned-- the game put alot of effort in their animation and stuff, alot of really really high quality stuff there. hell. even the ads they put alot effort into, they make a promotional video and (to my knowledge) an original song for it and it's really good.
I did end up quitting the game, and I'm kinda sad the main reason why I quit is still a problem even now-- the gear grind. Early on the gear grind is'nt so bad, it's really not that hard to get a decent enough gear to upgrade your characters early on. however as your gear gets better...the grind gets really really frustrating lol. I'm not sure if it's still a thing, but I remember unequipping gear from units used to cost money as well. it's probably not that big of a deal now, but it was really annoying additional cost that you have to deal with back then.
Overall though, I agree with you! it's a pretty solid game. I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone that haven't play it, but if the gear talk sounds like a deal breaker for you then. you can either just play for the story or stay away completely o__o
The crafting is definitely the biggest hurdle this game throws at players, I think they need to give some well set up gear of all varieties of sets to new players. It would never give them too much power in PVP if it was level 70 stuff with the right sub stats but low values. But Smilegate is continually making the new player experience more friendly so I should wait and see what they come up with next.
Epic Seven is one of those gacha games where whaling will just give you little advantage over units and artifacts since this game just give away energies like candy and is heavily equipment reliant. You can have all units with SSS imprints and level 30 artifacts but if your gear is shit, you'll definitely lose against a no imprint unit with level 15 artifact and good gear assuming both of you use the same unit.
Also, speed and RNG are the kings of Epic Seven.
I think that's overall a good thing, although I might not be saying it when the rolls aren't going my way ahah

Great points. Played FFBE day one until you needed like 8 of a unit to make it playable & the atrocious off banner rate. Im end game day one E7, welcome aboard, its fantastic & rewarding. Like you said it isnt a race, youre well ahead of schedule & dont forget to do your ml 5 selector.

But most bigger streamers and creators got me to where I am with the setup, so it would be unique to change settings for a small youtuber. So I hope you can make something out of it.

In regards to the crafting point, it is a bit of a problem if you want to play competitively. However if you are just playing for entertainment you don't need a great build to play since PvE isn't impossible at almost any point. If you're struggling sometimes you just need to use a different unit or team comp. PvP though as far as I've seen on it is very competitive due to how long the games been around and how devoted alot of the PvP players have been.
I might try it out I just hope there isn't an always-changing-meta in the game
There are some meta changes due to new characters or actually balance patches
Nerfing units is rare but still happens from time to time but like the dude in video said you get a full refund if you are not happy about the nerfs (I still wouldn’t refund any units cause they still have their spot in game or actually they might get a buff in future patches) but in general there isn’t that many meta changes
Epic Seven is a GORGEOUS game; exciting animations, excellent voice acting, great story (better than WotV in some respects, even the side stories), and a decent pity system. Its biggest weakness, in my opinion, is the RNG-heavy crafting system. Gear is critical in high level competitive gameplay so you can't escape it and you will have to suck it up and grind. After about 2 years, the farming grind killed the fun for me so I've stopped playing since. I hope you're able to have a good run of this game though; it's excellent if it didn't have PvP.
For new players (that includes you Mysidia!) interested in this game, I suggest you check out Moga who used to cover E7 extensively (not so much now). Most of his E7 content is (probably) still relevant today but more importantly he has a fun and approachable style that I think many Mysidia viewers would enjoy.

crafting sounds a lot like genshin with the substats and passives (not saying who is copying who, just an observation of a game I've played). I didn't mind it in Genshin so much since I'm not heavy into super min/maxing but it always gives something to be working for.
It has similarities but e7 definitely has the better gear system
First of all you need to spend energy to farm hunt modes to get crafting materials and even if it seems similar to genshin with resin and domains it is a big different Cause not like in genshin you get loaded with energy so you can farm way more hunts in e7 than domains in genshin
Second is the crafting in general in genshin purple gear is trash, there may be some cases where you could use a purple gear but in general you can only use golden ones and in genshin to roll usable golden gear is quite rare not impossible but hard
While in e7 sure golden gear is better but purple still has it places way more often than in genshin
And on top of that every 20 (I think it was) gear crafted you get 1 golden gear piece of your choice as an extra of your normal drops
And last if you have a really good piece but one substat is bad or not usable on that character e7 has substat reroll so you can change your substat to a different substat you want
But I’m not saying e7 is perfect cause there is the substat called speed and in a game which is turn based pvp speed is an important substat to get the first turn
There are units that don’t rely on speed and instead they are bulky tanks that actually is meta right now but cleaving is also a really fun gamestyle which you need speed for
And speed rolling is cursed that a big downside but E7 is still a very fun game and even many dislike pvp i really like playing pvp in e7
its easily the most generous gacha game out there.....its premium currency which is skystone is either can be easily farmed or the game will just give it to you
I love that E7 is getting more attention and i want to thank you for showcasing it and i wish you the best. SG is doing an awful work on promoting the game and the game is imo one of the best gachas out.
I've played it for the past 3 years and I got 95% of the characters as a f2p (missing 12 ML5s).

I stopped playing after a year and a bit, not because I didn't like it, but because I just decided that I wanted to spend my time elsewhere. The grinding gear aspect took a long time and I think I just outgrew it
As someone who plays summoners war, I envy how epic seven cares about their player base... Like they actually care...
During craft events where you can craft 1 specific item 99% of the time you should craft Speed main stat boots of the set that you need, since getting those are rare and difficul
Craft right side gear (weapon, armor, helm) with the hunt mats, easier to get acceptable gear there
Speed is good, but it is not end all and the only truth
This game is really friendly towards F2P players.
Pretty simplistic start goals of, "Get to GOLD in ARENA" and "Be able to do SHIELDLESS Wyvren 13."
Everything else is pretty irrelevent for the F2P player, it's definitely a very grindy game and time is required.
A lot of time is required for this game. If you don't have 2 hours to devote to Epic Seven daily, I just wouldn't.
It's nothing personal, but you need to basically balance 20 HUNT runs or 20 RUNE runs or 20 ADVENTURE runs daily.
And, another thing is knowing how to balance your energy out... Like don't burn all of your energy on non event hunts.
It's not a good idea. Generally speaking its best to do your adventuring, stock up on materials and what not...
and then on some weekends we get a hunt event or rune event and you just GO OFF on that event! 5000 energy burned.
You end up getting your Specialty Change units complete in this manner and tons of gear that's going to replace free gear.
HUNTING W13 IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THIS GAME! You basically will hold CHALLENGER in PVP with 200 speed units.
CHAMPION in Arena is a bit harder to hold, requires a bit more, investment than the basics, but it's a really fun game! Worth the time!

Speaking of the star upgrading system in this game, I highly enjoy the fact that exp gets stored into eggs to give you penguins. I farm with my actual heroes to build friendship, then I can just quickly max material characters with those penguins, then mass evolve them! MASS EVOLVE. Everytime I do this I think of how tedious and painful it was to do manually in Summoners War.
