For a high school production, this is straight up wonderful. All of them did such a good job! I absolutely loved Jellylorum, Jemima, Tugger, Bomba & Demeter. Macavity is by far my favourite number in the musical and their vocals worked perfect for it, even though I gotta admit, that the Bombalurina had an outstanding stage presence. With the female Skimble I was surprised, but that lady surely did a great job!
Why isn't anybody talking about the amazing Mr. Mistoffelees? That kid was awesome and even seemed younger than the other cast members, I'm so impressed

I wish it was mentioned in the description that this was a high school. For better or worse I thought this was a professional run show , and thus was much more critical (this was my childhood haha) than was necessary. Knowing this was a high school, they really have my respect (not that they need it) this is much more extensive than anything I experienced at my NYC high school. Edit: No, in fact, I hadn't read in the beginning because I was multi tasking and didn't think iId miss much in the first few minutes lawl. Please stop responding to a year + old comment, kthanks

Honestly, the girl singing Macavity was very good. I’ve had to sing and dance to it, and it was terrifying and she did it without a mic too, and I could hear her almost perfectly

Just an outstanding and extremely impressive production! My hat is off to all the students. And a wonderful job to all those behind the scenes. I am 71 years old. And, have been a professional musician for most of those 71 years. I have attended many live musicals. I know the amount of work and planning that goes into a production like this. This was simply amazing!!!!!
This is incredibly well done!!! Considering this is a high school! We played GREASE in High school, and it was already extremely difficult and took a full year, what you did is amazing! Congratulations and Bravo to the actors, so well done!

Thank God that there are small venues such as this group of high school students to give their communities a night's worth of enjoyment on the level with big city productions! Magnificent performances by the entire cast and superb choreography and direction by the thoughtful talents that produced this high-caliber version of Broadway's most beloved musical, "CATS!"
One thing i absolutely love about this production (and one no one really notices) is that the children of T.S are participants in the story, whether its the girl watching Victoria dance in awe, or Tugger hiding them from Grizabella, they serve as audience surrogates for us to endure in the jellicles shenanigans.
Of all the versions of CATS I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot, this is probably one of the very best and most fun shows I’ve ever seen!!! Oh my goodness! The addition of the human children is so charming, it really adds another layer to this amazing story. Well done everyone, cast, crew, music, costumes, makeup and anyone I may have missed. Thank you for sharing this with us, it was truly wonderful!
Very impressive for a high school production! I’ve seen 5 professional productions (New Orleans, London, Vienna, Budapest, Seoul) and this is right up there. Wow! Very talented teens.
for a high school production of one of my personal favourite musicals this is AMAZING! I love the Jennieanniedots number however I would have loved to have seen you guys make the little mice and roach/beetle costumes for the rest of the cats to wear for the tap number but it still held its own without that and you more than made up for it with the expansion on Gus's song. BIG SHOUTOUT to the choreographers that worked on this for taking some of theatre's most challenging choreo to date and making it teachable to high schoolers while keeping it dynamic and fairly comparable to the original. I won't lie, your Old Deuteronomy kind of looks like a three-toed sloth but that may just be my perspective. The young lady that sang Gus's song is just a STAR. She got the intonation perfect and her voice is so strong and her diction is so clear and I wanted to make sure she knew that. Also shoutout to your Skimbleshanks actress because that's one of the hardest songs to perform in this show due to the amount of movement and the song having a lot of words to sing and that takes amazing breath control and she did a wonderful job with that! Also Bravo to your Demeter actress for pushing through her mic issues during Macavity. the students and staff that worked on this because this is beyond impressive for actors so young

I loved this production, how it integrated real children into the plot and yes, even the 9 minute intro on the literary background of Cats. I can also appreciate the different sizes and abilities of the dancers, after all, nowadays not all cats are slim, trim and limber, lol. My only issue was the absence of Macavity. Would have loved to see what you would have done with this actual character. But all in all, I am so grateful to have found this entire production on TH-cam. Amazing work and you all should be proud of what you did.

I have in the last day and a half watched a few too many different productions of CATS, and as Mistoffelees is my favorite character I feel like I have the right to say that this Misto is up there as having one of the best stage presences I’ve seen
So I know won’t probably get seen but watching them pick the Siamese tail up made me so happy cause when I was performing mayzie la bird my tail fell off and everyone left it there!!!! Stage sense doesn’t occur to all actors.
Dont sweat it. Ive performed in CATS as well Small theater production and had my tail stepped on and pulled away. I just grabbed onto the strings that were around my waist and kept moving to my next spot on stage.

Was looking for original Broadway video after seeing the movie. Well done for this highschool you can spot couple great trained dancers(white main Dancer Victoria, magical Mr Mistoffelees, Black main Dancer singer and the one that told Grizabella story). Grizabella was bad cast guessing is a teacher as well as Mungojerry an Rumpletezeer they should be like twins. Grizabella should had been one of the singers that respond to her in first act. Many dance scenes overcrowded and caused little mistakes but everyone got their moment and adding the kids kind of like the nutcracker girl dream is a good spin to the play. Props for lighting and stage including all cable acrobatics very brave young artists as well as very bold for a highschool to allow, due diligence and safety permits must have been a pain to get I know from experience producing. 5 stars for a highschool production and 3 if it was for a professional theater run. Good job overall.

There is a parent booster organization for theater arts for this school district. Parents and students raise funds all year to support the school budget. The sets and props were built and assembled by volunteer parents and students.

Andrew Lloyd Webber said he grew up reading old possum book poets and then wanted to re create it into a musical so it's mighty possible he had a dream and then ba bam made a musical.
I felt like they were pairing some of the cats. For example, Rum Tim Tugger and Bombalurina or Mr. Mistoffelees and Victoria. Overall pretty good production. And that little girl descending from the heavy sight layer and old Deuteronomy picking her up was cute and letting her join the two kids was cute.

Andrew Lloyd Webber said he grew up reading old possum book poets and then wanted to re create it into a musical so it's mighty possible he had a dream and then ba bam made a musical.

I felt like they were pairing some of the cats. For example, Rum Tim Tugger and Bombalurina or Mr. Mistoffelees and Victoria. Overall pretty good production. And that little girl descending from the heavy sight layer and old Deuteronomy picking her up was cute and letting her join the two kids was cute.
