Wow. I am 57. Ive been an Iron Maiden fan since number of the beast came out my sophomore year. When Piece of Mind came out, i heard "Flight of Icarus" on 98.1 (98 rocks) out of Shreveport, La. I bought the album as soon as i could find it(not always easy in backwoods north Louisiana) and when i heard still life for the first time I was just blown away. Still to this day, P of M is one of my top 5 all time albums and Still Life is a top 5 Maiden song. But Ive never known what exactly he said . I knew it was from Idi Amin but not what it meant. Cool. Guess after 42 years it doesnt matter but its cool to know now. I think ill listen to the whole song now . Well, as soon as I twist one up.
I remember reversing the tape of my Piece of Mind cassette many years ago, listening to this part, and immediately thinking that was a quote from Star Wars or something like that xD

A lot of this occurred with heavy metal and now in today's music as well after Anton Lavey created Church of Satan. He was a musician and actor who played The Devil in Rosemary's Baby. The Church started in 1966. His address had two 6's in San Francisco. Its ironic that they call it mark of the beast. They slapped Baphomet, the goat onto the inverted pentagram and used it as their sigil.
There’s nothing satanic. When this album was recorded the band was being accused of satanism because of the Number of the Beast album. The backwards message was done as a joke . Thanks for watching!!
