  • We've eaten heaps of noodles recently on the channel, so how could we not feature one of the best noodle soups you can find in Sydney!
Lanzhou Beef Noodles are noodles from the North-West region of China. They're hand-pulled fresh to order, and then placed in a delicious clear but flavourful beef broth. In today's video, we try one of my favourite Lanzhou beef noodles in Sydney. They also do these spectacular fried lamb ribs seasoned with cumin and spices which are absolutely delicious!
Location: 1915 Lanzhou Beef Noodles, Parramatta
(Locations in Burwood (my favourite), Sydney CBD, Hurstville and Melbourne too)

Lanzhou beef noodle soup has a slogan of 一清(clear broth), 二白 (white radish), 三红 (red chillies oil) , 四绿 (green coriander), 五黄 (yellow alkaline noodle). When these 5 boxes ticked this is truly the Lanzhou beef noodle soup. 😀

Lanzhou noodles are the best! . the chilli oil also really adds to broth. Try going to 1915 noodles at Parramatta at lunch time during week. There is always a line.

Ohhh! My husband and I usually go to Lanzhou 1919 in Burwood but it’s good to know the 1915 restaurant also has one in Parramatta. So much closer! We also recently discovered that Lanzhou 1919 has one that opened up not too long ago in Livo Westfields!

I love me some 1919 too! Low key think the noodle texture is generally a bit better there but hard to look past 1915 for the fried lamb ribs that thing is delicious!!!

I tried it wasn’t a big fan- I thought the broth was way too salty for my liking
Not sure if the egg you tried is a tea egg, but if it is seems like they haven’t boiled it enough
Cause it should be a lot darker once soaked with the tea and sauce

That’s not true. Lanzhou noodles are quite special and are distinct from Cantonese style noodles
