There are several other spots to hire boats in Alleppey be it houseboat, Canoe, Kayak, Country boat, local ferry or Speed boat. There are many good vegetarian, non-veg, seafood hotels & fast food places. I am from Alleppey happy to help if you are planning another trip to Alleppey.
