1:58 - Yeah, Moose can be extremely aggressive especially if their young are nearby. You never really know if they're going to be chill or charge you, so generally you want to keep your distance and GTFO if at all possible.
Source: I'm Canadian. Don't mess with those animals, they're huge.

As a fellow Canadian... don't forget the damage they can do to a vehicle if you hit one. They can destroy cars... and survive. They do get trapped in cars sometimes. Badness all around Moose involved auto accidents.

I don't think the male moose (which this one was, cause antlers) are particularly protective of their young. For them the concern is rutting season where they get uber territorial. They'll charge out of the bush and active attack cars if you stop too long in the wrong place.

The car glass from the “Slim Jim”, was broken by a glass punch from someone off screen. You can see it shatter from behind him first, and then spiderweb out from there. As it is tempered glass, it’ll stay intact unless disturbed. Also, you can see the door panel is missing and it has a tag from an auction on the windshield. It’s most likely a junk yard car that they just shot the video in.

I live in one of the most moose-rich places in Norway (during hunting season I dont even dare go outside to pick up my mail without wearing an orange cap!). I often have mooses com into my garden to grase. And yes, they can get VERY aggressive if surprised!
However; There`s no reason why you would surprise one - they are HUGE, so all you need to do is keep your eyes open when venturing outside and you will spot them long before they see you.
And furthermore they are not venomous. You wont just feel a little prick when sitting down in your chair and then dying a few hours later not even knowing what killed you...

While it's true that in general moose are more likely to harm you than a typical spider, even the various poisonous ones, moose are nearly entirely in minimally populated areas and have relatively few interactions with people. They are often described as cantankerous, but unpredictable is probably a better word. The same is true for bison, buffalo, and rhinos. Large herbivores want their space as they have an instinctual knowledge that they are on the menu for large carnivores.

I figure I am helping the algorithm by commenting twice. The window shattered in the slimjim clip because of internal stress in the tempered glass used for car windows. The process of tempering adds the stress and forces the the glass when broken to shatter into tiny less dangerous pieces. critically this make the glass stronger but if there is a temperature gradient on the inside vs outside this increases the stress making it shatter easier. on a cold day with the heater blowing full there is the potential to cause the window to shatter very easily.

They're 6-7 feet tall on 4 legs. (apparently to the top of antlers it can be up to 10 feet)

There are many bridges and overpasses that are too short for certain vehicles. There's one in my town. Video of too-tall trucks ignoring the very obvious signage and getting destroyed is just one of those things.
It's a major hassle for the other people trying to live their lives, drive through in appropriately-sized cars; now they have to detour while the mess is cleaned up. The driver is screwed; almost certainly fired; has to pay a heavy fine and damages to the vehicle. The company, whoever the driver was driving for, bears responsibility. Folks who are renting trucks for a move or something: not used to big vehicles, now their rental is damaged, have to pay the fee. Whatever was inside these trucks is probably damaged, as well. If it happens in the rain, or snow: now that's inside your vehicle, ruining more stuff. The structure, bridge, overpass, whatever it might be, has to be inspected for damage before it can be re-opened for regular traffic; if there is damage it has to be repaired: the driver / company is responsible for that, as well.
Watch your surroundings, folks. I don't care what GPS says. If your eyes, and the signs, are telling you that you can't go that way, then find a different route. GPS can steer you wrong, sometimes, which is a big pain in the ass. But GPS is also good for finding a detour: see? Easy fix! Use your eyes, and your brain, when driving. It should really NOT be that difficult.

Moose are very dangerous. If you hit a deer with your car, the car and the deer are ruined. If you hit a moose with your car, it's going to laugh at your corpse. It's basically like running into a brick wall.
A moose can be 5-6.5 feet tall at its shoulder and weighs around 1,800lbs. Its antlers span about 6ft across from tip to tip.
They can run up to 30MPH and are not phased by snow. They sprint through it as if it wasn't even there. They can also swim for 10 miles without a break at 6MPH, and they can dive underwater up to 20ft, holding their breath for up to 30 seconds. The babies can outrun an adult human by time they're 5 days old. Their front hooves can kick in any direction.

Moose are dangerous. Especially a territorial bull, or a mom with a calf. We were out camping in the High Uintas of Utah, and my sisters went out into this meadow field. They came across a moose. The moose chased them and they ran it back into camp. My sisters barely made it into our truck. The thing was on a rampage, tearing everything up. We had to wait for the Game Wardens to do something about it. I don't remember the whole thing, because I was pretty young at the time. I remember bits and pieces of it, but my family will once in a while tell the story when we all get together, and laugh about it. But moose will kill you.

Moose injure more people each year than any other land animal other than Hippos. A lot of moose attacks occur when someone is walking their dog, because the moose can mistake the dog for their arch enemy, the wolf, so they become immediately aggressive. Bull moose (the males) are extremely aggressive and territorial during mating season, and females can be extremely aggressive if they are with young children. They can grow upwards of 725 kg, aren't afraid of people, and will generally force you to give them the right of way on a trail or road. They're incredible to see, from a good distance away.
