I was so happy when the bags despawned because you are always greedy, It made common sense to make some boxes or barrels when you got the loot. A tip for you if you always keep a single or more high quality metal in your bag it will stay for more time before despawning.

Yea sorta. Like having HQM in the bag would make it a longer despawn time than having some wood. I think having 20x HQM wouldn't make it a longer despawn than 1x HQM though. It is not the same with backpacks and death bags, that is why Oilrats M249 despawned in this video haha. Why he was checking those death bags all the time (and i think rearranging stuff in them) was to reset the timer. He assumed doing that same thing to the backpacks on the ground also reset the timer. To reset the timer on backpacks it turns out you need to pick them and equip them, then drop them again. There are probably videos on the subject of despawning. I saw something on it and learned about it on TH-cam, or from a comment elsewhere. @@meaty6400
