    I'm so excited to be sending my two boys there for class of 2026 and 2028. They're in 1st and 3rd grade now but I'm ready to Sign them up now!! As a teacher/future professor this is the schools that will give them the push they need from growing up in rural Colorado. They will see that African Americans are just as successful as whites.

    I heard about this school years ago. Love that you guys give us a closer look here. The video is beautifully done. Thanks for inspiring me to create my own edu-docs of what's been happening in my classroom :)

      Thanks, Thom. :)
      By the way, we enjoyed the sense of play and style in your videos. We just may have to bring High Five Fridays to our offices...

    This is an amazing video. I've seen other videos on this school, but this one strikes me in a way the others haven't. I've always believed in the goals of this school, but the way the video explores this issue in particular let's me know that there's something greater I must do. How can we start one of these in Columbus, GA? Atlanta? Birmingham, AL? Montgomery, AL? We NEED these schools if we are to save our boys.

    What's the criteria for a young man to be accepted into this school?

    They are accepted, but then who pays

    • @EducationKairos
      @EducationKairos 8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      That's a thought. Conversely, who pays if they find themselves on the wrong side of the law. I would much rather pay for college than pay for prison. Not to mention the number of scholarships these grease men are eligible for.

      +DL Reese I meant great men.

      It varies from student to student. For those who need financial aid, their college application class can also be spent looking into financial aid options.

      They pay how every student pays for college. Loans, grants, or parents.

      A vast majority of these men win scholarships totaling in the thousands.
