- Pathetic experience
Poor sound quality
It creates echo which is very disturbing.
Do not fall for any reel saying its too good,
many ppl left half a movie.
Cost 2000/- per car for seating capacity wether its 5 seater or 7 seater.
Best for couple to spend time n experience rooftop movie for once.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I am lucky to have experienced a Proper Drive-in way back in 1999 at Ahmedabad. Back then there was no emphasis on sound technologies like DTS or Dolby or as such for drive-ins. What we had was a Metal Pole with metal bracketed wires going into two speaker units or basically just basic stereo sound which were at least in-sync with the Audio.

You said everything correct ! We had went to this drive in theatre for SpiderMan World record event on 15th Dec 2021 organized by Sony India.... And the PVR staff was pathetic 🤮🤮 the ambiance is only good but they kept all the fans and things off at the middle of the day at 12pm and we are like fools roaming around in the sun's heat... Also at the end of the event at 3pm the PVR manager denied us all our promised snacks of which we had coupons.. the manager is really pathetic.... Got to experience this rooftop for free that's the only thing I'm proud of.
Costly experiences are not worth always..single screen Plaza rocks :D

Absolutely ! The dedicated indoor movie theatre halls are far better than any open roof top drive in theatre as there's no match how mesmerizing surround sound quality the indoor cinema halls can give even if you've the most expensive car to go with.
I go to IMAX with LASER at PVR ICON LOWER PAREL for most of my Hollywood movies and I find the best bombarding mind-blowing IMAX sound system there you'll ever find in Maharashtra ! Yes I can even say India 💯 as it is an IMAX with LASER tech equipped hall with 4k projection system.... Same goes for any cinema who has new tech installed of 4k lasers into their halls like PVR MAISON at BKC has 4k projectors in every hall which are by far the best quality and film experience you'll ever get in India, period.
Comes from a geek who watches movies in almost all the formats in Mumbai and is a crazy IMAX fan.

Actually Drive-ins or open air cinemas are less about the actual movie and more about the experience of spending time with friends. So you should only go for a movie that you have already seen before...that way you can relax and enjoy the experience. Talk, eat, roam around while the movie plays in the background.
In Pune there's an open air rooftop cinema where they show older classic movies. And it's a fun experience.

Instead of 2 screens, One Giant Screen could have been best!!!! And Sound kaa toh kya hee bataaun! Main 28th December, 2021, Tuesday ko gaya tha "83" dekhne, sound bakwaas hone ke wajah se, kuch bhi samaj nahi aaraha tha aur plus jo 88.5 se jo humne connect kiya tha, woh sound bhi at some point phat raha tha!!! I mean isko quality compromise kahunga!!! I think yeh Drive In Theatre zyada nahi chalega!! Plus it so expensive, the ticket, the food, etc & believe me it's not at all worth!!! Itni expensive ticket aur woh bhi Bollywood ke liye toh bilkul bhi worth nahi hai ek baar ke liye Hollywood movie hoti toh phir bhi soochun jaane ke liye!!! Seriously, mann, worst experience!!! Every Movie Theatre has an Acoustic treatment for sound but idher toh Acoustic ka "A" bhi nahi hai 😂!!! You if you are not listening in your car, the Theatre sound bounces so much & is so out of sync with other speakers that kuch samaj mein nahi aayega ki movie mein kya chal raha hai!!! I went once, I will never go again!!!

Was there at the same show and at the same time, dont know why are you so bitter about it. No one can help you if you cant tune your car’s radio to a said frequency, we were a family in the car and we enjoyed the whole experience. And its a drive in movie experience, so you need to sit in your car, learn how to work the radio and switch on the AC and enjoy.
You were just being bitter for no reason. Maybe thats why people say we dont deserve nice things...!!!
We were 5 , n only two of us can watch movie properly if we connect through 88.5, dont knw which car u have ,n its great that with family u enjoyed

@@KokanHeartedGirl Hi there....back in my day, here in Canada, we had many drive in theaters, but the screen was about three times bigger, and for sound, we had a speaker that we hung on the inside by the driver's side window. They were great to go to, and oddly, the screen quality back then was very good....unless you had a messed up windshield!! What would the cost be in Canadian dollars to go to this venue? We were charged by the number of people in the car, and sometimes we got some guys to hide in the trunk, and carefully let them out when we got in!...Keep well!

Hello. I visited yesterday 11pm show Prithviraj. It was an awesome experience. Sound quality is absolutely amazing, we sat outside on the grass spreading the mat that we were carrying. No need to sit in car keeping the AC On. cleanliness and ambience is top notch. Must visit. I would request you to please visit again and then may b you wil change your opinion. (This is not a paid review. )

I remember watching cinemas in Drive-In theater in the 1980s never enjoyed then and now too. At that time this place was infested with mosquitoes due Mithi river hope this problem is not there now at least.

Ahmedabad's drive in theatre is much better and cheaper than this. Everyone in the car can enjoy the movie as slope is proved to park a car. If you want to sit outside then too other speakers are also provided there. And it is cheaper than theatres too 😁

It's an experience.....if given a choice would I go again..... NO!!!. But, as an experience we enjoyed a lot.
Food was no doubt expensive.
