Game 2 I think Kozmo player misplayed. He could have crashed Slip into Astograph to summon Farmgirl, kill Astrograph with DD, attack with Farmgirl, search another DD and that is gg. Edit: it wouldn't have been game (only 7800 damage max). But it was still the correct play imo
There was a misplay in the last game too. The kozmo player should have shuffled away the 2 kozmo monsters in hand to dig for strike or other backrow. A strike or even mst could have stopped him from losing wheras the monsters in hand did absolutely nothing.

When you realise that Lithium is about to upload, and then he uploads MR3 Pendulum is insane, even against full power kozmo. Ignister is also really good. Dark matter 3-1 over DAD return. It just needs 1 dark matter to activate, and them it OTK's.

Hey Lithium, here's an idea: would it be possible for you to arrange the original owners of the decks to compete in CBC? So that the decks could be used the way the original deck owner intended, and we can minimize the potential misplays. Great video btw, I love CBC series

That game 2 comeback was great, despite TWO Strikes Pend Magicians were easily able to bring it back. Pend Magicians seem like a a potential best deck of all time but they have a steep hill to climb with the other monsters in this cup.
Drawing 5 with the fusion sub combo made it easier to get to your barrier. And it's much more efficient to start with one card, against the 3-4 pendulums need.
That was quite the beatdown, Pendulum Magicians at full power under MR3 is closer to PePe than Dracopals. For the next match up I'm going for Dark Matter, TeleDAD is an amazing deck but I don't think it can keep up with the explosive power of Hieratic Rulers with Dark Matter Dragon.
Its kinda funny that this Pendulum list is a MR4 deck but it can still be played card for card because Jeff didn't play any Link monsters. Oh how things have changed.
Yeah this is pretty much what I expected to happen, people keep blaming the Kozmo player's misplays for the loss, but without maind decked D Barrier a deck like this isn't gonna steal a lot of wins. In terms of purely pendulum monsters, Magicians are the pinnacle of the mechanic's power creep.
The list being used is from immediately after Link monsters were introduced and the Pendulum mechanic was re-balanced, so the deck wasn't really doing this sort of stuff. Before Master Rule 4 Zoo was around (and a much better deck) so this version of Pendulums never really ran rampant.

This was actually the best deck in that format even under Master Rule 4 because compared to the last format everything was super low-powered right up until Double Helix came out and Spyrals straight up destroyed everything.
For everyone complaining about penduluma in mr 3: he never summoned more than 1 monster from the extra deck when he was in a losing position. The reason pendulums wOn was because of their insane consintency and the pendulumgraphs
I love Jeff Jones build but the negate pendulums with vortex firewall and Mythical beast Jackal king and knight mate griffin with the 3 electro mite way to strong
Supreme King Starving Venom and Supreme King Clear Wing came out in Code of the Duelist, after the introduction of master rule 4 both in the TCG and OCG. Those 2 should be removed and replaced with monsters Pendulum Magicians of the time could play. Certainly Evilswarm Nightmare and any of Dinoster Power, the True Dracoslayer, Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer, Diamond Dire Wolf, Stardust Dragon and Daigusto Emeral. A case for some of those could be made over synchros in Jeff's list as well - the extra wasn't as flexible before mr4, so toolbox options were more restricted.This was in part due to Zoo engine's prevalence, which is excluded for obvious reasons. Either way, focus was on the xyz monsters, not synchros. Neither of the two Supreme Kings mater in the Kozmo match-up, as Time Pendulumgraph makes it very one-sided, but please remove them before a match-up where they're relevant comes up. Even here Venom copying Ignister could've served as a back-up of sorts.

Nekroz can win if they know how to play it. Also rooting for Fluffals but did they really have to be in the same group. And each deck should be updated with their new arctype specific cards otherwise they are not at full power.

Shame most people weren't competent enough to challenge TD and Zoo with it as it was definitely possible, and made for a heck of a challenge in both deckbuilding and gameplay.

I don’t at all agree with allowing master rule 3 pendulums to be in this cross banlist cup. Way too powerful imo. It’s going to steamroll everything it plays unless the matchup just happens to be bad or there’s main decked floodgates to stop it.

Actually tribute and xyz summoning was much more successful that format.

I used a similar list before, I feel it's OK tho, has its weaknesses still.
Kozmos have a bad pendulum matchup, remember we have draco,zoo,abc etc in this cup they are fine
