After Michael Jordan this was my favorite NBA Player of the 90s, Penny was a Smooth 6'7 Point Guard, his vision was next level, Penny played the game at his own rhythm, you couldn't speed him up, he'd get 20-25 points 7 Rebounds and 8 assists EASY! I hate Penny got injured because he would've been a Top 5 PG EVER!

Coach Penny, as a white PG growing up in the city I have some much respect and admiration for you. You were my role model growing up. You were my MJ! I was so FKN excited when you took over the tigers and still am. You have done such an amazing job better than Cal if you ask me. There have been many arguments on the fb groups and at the game me defending your honor. Unfortunately I get to only come to one or two a year being away from Memphis. I was at the UAB comeback last year and sat right behind them… I was in their ear all game……. Anyways you have a dog of a team this year and can’t wait to come back to a game this year.. Probably my favorite player ever outside of MJ. I don't know about skillset " higher than MJ", but I know 50% of his game was Jordan-like and the other 50% was Magic-like. So, from that perspective, he was one of a kind...and Jordan loved his game.
