It's just spine chilling over all with the owners being absent throughout this mess. It's like unattended children being forced to fend for themselves. 😢
I remember crying SO HARD at the goldfish flopping around helplessly with that flute music playing. I must have been five years old, I cried and cried for almost the entire afternoon and I couldn't finish the movie. I finally looked this scene up and was happy to see the goldfish made it out okay. Babe is a true hero. But, MAN this scene with this music is brutal...
I love how this scene portrayed animal control as really cold and ruthless without inflicting any violence. They're just doing their jobs so casually that it's almost machine-like.
I noticed this recently, but movies during this time- especially kids movies where the protagonist was an animal- loved to portray animal control as the bad guys. In reality, they are ultimately the ones preventing animal cruelty or hoarding situations (ideally)
This is a great movie. It’s not appreciated as much as it should be. There’s many hidden gems hiding in plain sight. I was fascinated with this movie as a kid. I’m still fascinated with it, but adulthood makes me appreciate it in a completely different way.
I remember how freaking scared I got for flealick, seeing him getting pulled and then thrown off from the car he tried to hang on to really shocked me as a kid and I thought that he freaking died. I felt so much relief when he turned out to be ok 🥺
Imagine this scene but with the animal characters from The Fox and the Hound, 101 Dalmatians, Tarzan, The Lion King and The Lion Guard and The Aristocats getting captured instead.
This scene was harder to watch at 34 years old than I remember it being when I first saw it as a kid. I love animals, so I was CRYING - damn flute music didn't help either. But I'm glad I finally faced this scene again a lifetime later.
This is a good franchise to return to. Now without the need to use animals in the scene, but to capture their images and reconstruct them in CGI. Because this film was controversial in relation to PETA and Animals themselves. But I would like to see Babe return, and I believe that using CGI there will be no problems. Brave Little Pig!
This is a Last Stand of sorts. Both for Thelonius and for Flealick. They handle the trial in completely different ways, but both are courageous. Thank heavens for Babe, or they wouldn’t have ever got out of this.
Just watched this for the first time in years and i have a question what happened to the other cats that were in the cages as well as the other dogs by the sofa where they rescued later in the film. I hope so
I always thought that most, if not all the residents escaped once Babe broke them out. Though given the size of the whole animal group, some may have fled from the vents or back door and met backup with the pig afterwords.
When Esme Hoggett was given directions to the hotel that allowed pets. When the narrator brought up; "Esme studying the face of a stranger and what would promote this act of kindness." The guy then turned around with chipper music playing as he walked away. What did that scene symbolize?

Why didn't the orangutan do anything to save the animals and husband of the mama chimpanzee with the kids! He just stood there!

Almost reminds one of the NKVD in 1937

Humans can be cruel that’s inhumane how they grabbed the animals
@@Anon12077 they had no right to do this shit without the owners the humans beign home

Ferdinand is one of my favorite childhood ducks that cracks me up.
Most memorable quotes would be "Christmas means carnage" quote from the first film and his four reasons quote.
@@Wolfbane8 you can't forget about his "Rooster Crow calling. "We got to do something about that duck."
Ein wundervoller Film, der es sehr wert ist, verfolgt und gesehen zu werden, mit guten Schauspielern und einer wundervollen Leistung.

I'm pretty sure the animals were okay multiple Doll replacements were used in place of Animals so they don't get harmed.

فلم رائع
I think the main reason this film failed is because of Miss Hortense’s hatred to animals and the sad scene with all those animals getting captured
بكل صراحه فيلم رائع جدا ومثير وجميل ورومانسي في الاتارة❤❤❤
