  • PPS are measured solely in an academic way. Car vs Cargo bike in a city thats what it is about.

Comrade, I am thinking about getting license as well, but not the car as there is a plenty options for car sharing or renting. But I bought electrified Omnium sooo...

i live in the countryside and i cant imagine life without a car anymore , i would spend hundreds of hours extra every year to get normal things done. Also i think a 5.7l dodge ram CAN be practical when you need to move like 3-5 tons of building materials or something daily. But if you get the licence , it does not make you unable to drive a bike so... its a no-brainer really

Let me translate your first sentence: "I individually and selfishly moved to a place where my only transportation option is a car and now I'm angry that everybody doesn't accommodate my life choices."
About Dodge Ram. Cheapest used Dodge RAM on auto24 costs 7200€ and can carry 771kg. Cheapest Citroen Berlingo costs 1200€ and can carry 800kg. Let's not dream. Its about the prestige, not about practical needs.

everybody knows that people who buy dodge rams don't buy them because of the carry capacity. Any transport vehicle can carry more.

I agree about living in the countryside. Also for some people with disabilities. Also for emergency service and certain heavy transport. But not for the vast majority of people who use cars now. Not for people with children. Not for many cargo services. And many transportation needs we have could easily be replaced with more efficient services than owning a personal car. The price would presumably also go down as demand increases when most cars get an urban ban.

@@JaanusKaldeI was about to make a note about regulation differences for the US and EU resulting in discrepancies, but then I realized your point still stands. Only real difference even for work is a truck just comes with a bed (and back seats if required) while a van you'd hafta spend extra to get one on it
