the two big boys of the game. I really felt Alexis deserved this one, especially to get him closer to the top of the rankings as he has been in good form but just can't finish it up as much as his brother. Still both amazing players
WTT!!! We need to see the fastest points of this match in that shorts format that you’ve been doing recently with the mph meter and some nice dnb ❤ please WTT we love those!!
Liang Jingkun's victory over Alexis Lebrun was a spectacular showcase of high-level table tennis. His tactical prowess and resilience in a 3-2 win were truly impressive.
So many amazing rallies! Like someone else mentioned, in a game of 7 the end result could be different. Also bad luck with the last serve. Love the fair play on both players, giving away points for side hits.
alexis already beat ma long! because of his injury he fell a little behind in his progress which is why he is ranked 29th but he will quickly climb back into the top 5 to join his brother Felix in a short time
He will after that serve error in the fifth set wake up in the night and cry: Why!!! Amazing Match. I am happy that we have some european table tennis player who can fight toe to toe with the asian ones :)
holee fk, I've never seen the Chinese players being challenged this much before - Chen Meng vs Hana Goda, Wang Chuqing vs Sora Matsushima, Alexis Lebrun vs Liang Jingkun, and they all basically went to 9-9 in the decider! something tells me this is some next level hustling to allow nonChinese players to get to game 5 and then destroy all their hopes and cause emotional damage for an epic beatdown during the Paris 2024 Olympics... Chinese players are not going to drop a single game and just obliterate probably...

I have analyzed Liang for a long time. His tempo is truly SLOW. Quick first smash style like the Lebruns will absolutely exploit his slow game. Meaning if you get a couple of games from Liang, you probably have a great chance of winning against him. He's a microwave player, don't get Liang hot and your chances of winning gets higher. Exploit his mistakes EARLY. Does Alexis deserve this game? Absolutely NOT. He wasn't mentally stable to win against Liang who isn't the best Chinese player anyway. You simply can't make a mistake in your last 3 points. If you slip up, you lose the series.
yet he is quite popular overall. Already beat a Chinese world no1 and is one of the few to this create threat for the future considering he's only 20 (and has had a few injuries recently), along with his younger brother Félix who is only 17 and 5th worldwide
Amazing match, well played Alexis
That was a nice hug of acknowledgement that it was a tough battle for both. Good to know they are friendly.

What a match! Amazing to witness! Kudos to both players!

these were no doubt some of the fastest rallies ever broadcastet, respect to both og them
wow first time I actually see an ok handshake
You could tell throughout the game they respect and like one another, the friendly, brotherly hug solidified it, love to see it!
What a match!!! Bote players are amazing!!

that was incredible
Liang got stronger mentally, The better game planned belongs to Alexis, Not anymore that who can guarantee winning !

4:23 boss move after that monstrous backhand previous point
Haaaa I really like both of them
Alexis 🥰
What happened on the 7 point of last set, wasn't that Alexis point?
it hit on the side, not the edge :)
Serve at 4:28 looks like it came off of Liang's hand
👍👍👍👍👍
Well played both players. Alex would have had it in best of 7. I don't think LJK is fully fit. olympics in Paris will be interesting

Alexis is a monster of table tennis , damn, I’ve never seen so smart and strong player
Like this comment if Liang Jingkun is your favorite CNT player!

not really. Non-Chinese players are making progress quickly and being strong enough to challenge Chinese players.

Let them face now and the results will be different
First!

just watch the game Liang vs Hugo in ITTFWorlds2021, Liang was 0-3 and then came back to 4-3, you know little about Liang
funny now that non chinese players trying fast tempo tactics. the ball is heavier, that is a disadvantage even though the momentum is greater.
@@MrFreezebook21 I watched that match as well. It further justifies I'm correct.
