I love it when professional players express their emotions in front of their opponents and just enjoy the game, it is especially refreshing seeing a Chinese player do it. This match was so fun to watch.

Now we can see them bringing their absolute A-game and applauding each other for the great shots. Sportsmanship at its best.

When someone plays not "by the Chinese book" against China player, they get confused. Simon did a lot of not standard creative shots. With all respect to LJ/WH team, as you noticed, they didn't know what to do. However, in the last set, while WINNING 7:2(!), for some reason, Simon, I believe, forgot what was his "thing"(pressure, tension), he forgot that he sets the tone of the game, he has the advantage, he is the master of the situation. Instead, he gives up his initiative and starts losing point after point in a rather standard finale..... Damn.. ) But, doesn't matter what, to me Simon is "The Goat" of Macao 2024. I think today we witnessed one of the most incredible and fascinating games in TT. (applause)
