DON'T MOVE TO MONTANA PERIOD!!! LIVE IN ABSAROKEE, FROM ESTES PARK, COLORADO. THERE'S A REASON MONTANA IS THE LAST FRONTIER STATE, FOR GOOD REASON. CORRUPTION, NO ZONING LAWS, AND HERE THE SIBANYE STILLWATER MINE MEANS EVERYTHING TO POLITICIANS 😢
@@user-vu6re4xz8b Montana has certainly gotten attention more recently! You live in Absarokee?
Nooo thanks. Been their. If one wants to remain a virgin...that would b a gr8 place to live..it's what. I woman to 60 men pr living their. ...hmmmm ever heard of the. Sentence. Of.........😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Wow … The Bozone has radically changed since the late 70’s when I lived there … it was a tiny modest town but wouldn’t want to live there now … sorry for the the folks whom have lived there generationally.
It certainly has changed. Not tiny and unknown anymore! I’ve lived here a long time and I still actually love it
Where do you live now?
Lived there from 1975-1980, so unrecognizable now! Tho’t I was trapped in the Twilight Zone. Great skiing though 😄
Great skiing indeed@@Di-Pi!
I live in Hawaii (all my life), and I'm surrounded by homeless and tarps and the paradise is disappearing. Your background in this video... BEAUTIFUL!
I can understand - there’s hardship here too, but the beauty of Montana is that the views all around me are just about in every direction! Thanks for watching!
Some of the more Liberal cities here aloiw the Homeless too. It's just a prettier background.
I myself live in Hawaii and is thinking of making a move to Montana due to a job opportunity in big sky
Give it time. As more liberals from CA move there along with their voting habits it'll destroy Bozeman along with MT in no time like every other city/ state leftists have destroyed
Shout out from Texas. Great video - answered so many questions I was curious about. 🤠
Thanks! I appreciate you watching! Is there anything in particular you would like to learn more about as well?
Boz Angeles. I’m not even from Montana originally and even I agree with the locals with what’s happening to Bozeman
It’s interesting to see the growth indeed! But it’s not all negative actually. The loudest voices online are unhappy, though, certainly.
It’s really bad !!!!!!
This is a great video. Excellent information
Thank you! Where are you watching from?
Very helpful, thank-you!
You’re very welcome! Are you thinking about a move?
Thank you for al these information, we want to see the other cities of Montana here in your videos.
Absolutely and thank you for watching! If you go to my channel I’ve got videos on Three Forks, Belgrade, Manhattan, Big Sky, and soon there will be some for Ennis, just to name a few!
Been here since the 90’s, thankfully we bought a place back then. We struggle to find people to work jobs in the service industry so many businesses don’t have enough workers. You can tell every place you go.
Smart move buying back in the 90s!! Yes, the employment situation is certainly challenging - you’re absolutely right. Thank you for watching!
Bozeman, CDA, Flagstaff, Reno/Carson, Truckee, Grand Junction, Boise, Bend, Colorado Speings, Jackson basically every mountain town in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and even Wyoming, Arizona and Nevada are all expensive. Looks like everyone in cities had the same idea. And even though these places still remain small, their fast growth and lack of supply and also room to expand, means, you’re looking at $600k starting, $450k if you’re fast and lucky
Yep - you nailed it there 100%. Do you live in an area you mentioned?
@@lifeinbozemanmt I’m looking to retire from

@@luvslogistics1725 that’s wonderful! Thank you for your service. As far as cities that meet that criteria, Helena might be one worth taking a look at if you aren’t already. If you want smaller, Townsend is very small, more affordable and a lovely location. Let me know however I may be able to help, ok?
That’s it?! Haha that’s so cheap!!
@@alexcasey351 it’s the low end for sure! Or am I misunderstanding what you mean?
We move to a small town on the west side of Montana. We really regret it now. The people don’t like outsiders, but they are too cowardly to talk to you about it. Even the police follow you when you go for a walk. There is only so many streets to walk on so they park and wait for you to get near, then they drive away. You can’t seem to get more than a few words with your neighbors and then they want to rush away from me. Again, no one welcomed my wife and l. The churches were closed down when we got here. We were going to try that but since the weather is sooooo cold we are just going to leave this summer of 2024. Montana is good to visit, in summer, but the people are mean and make you feel terrible, so it’s not worth it. Not to us. A lot of low class criminals are moving here too now.
Wow I’m so sorry you had that experience! There are many welcoming folks here. Where did you move to? Winters in Montana are no joke though, and not everyone enjoys it that’s for sure!
@@lifeinbozemanmt very sad what is happening to Montana. They are trying to stay small and that is going to be a problem. The government is friendlier to homeless drug addicts than it is to someone from another part of the USA. Glad we didn’t buy a property here. Anyways. Take care. Thank goodness for walmart or we would have starved.
Everything we needed to know so we don’t move there
I lived in Bozeangeles for 5 years. I couldn’t wait to get back home in Tennessee. It’s so expensive and you put up with 8 months of winter every year. If you are older like me, skiing and snowboarding don’t make you happy.
California flight here is off the chain. Businesses can’t keep employees and can’t pay enough to sustain the area. Homeless people everywhere and Libtards from the college are everywhere.
I don’t miss it. People are not very friendly here either. Glad I am gone!
I'm sorry your experience was so - where did you move to? I like to believe the folks who live here are still friendly but clearly not everyone is. Thank you for watching!

Oh wow that's a big change! @@larryschwartz9883
I’m a young woman and forget about the skiing and snow boarding. Nearly broke my ankle once and I’m not doing it ever again.
I'm a Bozeman original my forefathers were some of the first to farm west of Bozeman pass and I agree with you. I now live in Cincinnati Ohio. Winter and summer are separated by spring and fall
informational video Hallie!
all true as you grew up there and have seen it change !
i would include all the independently wealthy people who live in bozeman and Big Sky ( millionaires/billionaires)
that drive up the prices
Also a lot of people commute by airplane to San Fran and Seattle and make way more money than one would in MT - and live and raise their families in Bozeman- that drove up the prices too!
Thank you! And that’s those are very good additions to the list. It’s grown so much!! But I know you know that!
#1 reason. People moving there wants to change the culture, politics, and basically destroy the area.
That's what happens when people move and change the social dynamics of a place.
I do find that most people who are moving here, are doing it because they love the place, and most don’t want to change a thing! But, with growth, there’s going to be more and more opinions and ideas, certainly. Do you live in Bozeman as well?
@@lifeinbozemanmt I don't permanently but I have been there lengthy amounts of time for the last 15 years, I also have friends that do live there. My comments are partially my opinion but those opinions of others as well. The influx to areas with more freedom and beauty from areas no longer habitable brings money, though it also brings the visions they want to modify the area into something more corporate, which then bring influence, politics, and eventual disfunction and collapse. Anyway, we all have opinions. I hope yours is right in the long term.
@@ragoff Yes, it's definitely a delicate balance, and I too hope that what I see for the area comes to be true. It's difficult when you grew up here seeing the changes, but some are certainly positive as well. I've been all over Montana and there are so many towns that are also suffering greatly and declining, and that's hard to see as well. Thank you again for watching! Any other questions? I'm always curious what my viewers might want to learn more about and think about so this is great. Thank you again!
I'm sick of California and the gun laws
Good job, Hallie. Loved living in Bozeman in the 1990s, and still love SW Montana. Thinking of the local indigenous tribes’ reactions to the notion of the “don’t change anything about the local culture” attitude in the Bozone. Most of the best folks in Bozeman back then came from somewhere else.
Thank you, I truly appreciate you watching and your kind words. My goal is to capture all that it is to live here - and I do still love it here. Most people moved here at some point for similar reasons, I know my parents did long before I even existed! Such an interesting attitude indeed, and I often think the same things you mentioned here. Thank you again!
HOW IS YOUR AUDIO SO GOOD? PLEASE SHARE - and ofc awesome video
Thank you! I have Anker Bluetooth earbuds, as well as a shure microphone, and a fantastic editor! Thank you so much for watching also. Where ya watching from?
Bozeman, MT was an amazing place while I was there. It is VERY expensive there though. A cheap Super 8 motel cost $300.00 per night.
I agree - it's very expensive, and wages are starting to catch up, but not enough just yet. When did you live here and where are you now? Thanks for watching!
When I was in the Air Force up until 2014, we were petrified of being stationed in MT due to the brutal winters. Now people are jumping at the chance to move there.
Oh how funny! The winters haven't really changed much... I think some don't fully realize it, and others like to ski? Who knows... where are you now?
What are the negatives to VISITING Montana? Great video, we are passing through and love what we see so far.
Oh goodness, I suppose it would simply be the weather - depending what you're looking to do, right? It's a beautiful place with so much to visit and see and do. What are you looking for?
@@lifeinbozemanmt We were in West Yellowstone, and explored the park a bunch of times. Now we are in Bozeman until Sunday, then we are heading to Glacier.
@@BeanCruisers Sounds wonderful! Glacier is spectacular as well and I hope you enjoy your visit!! Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with as always!
Well, you realtors are doing pretty well. If you want move to Bozeman, be ready for a shock. The politics in the state are not especially liberal. Housing is outrageously expensive. If you bring a camper to live in, be ready to move it off the street every 30 days -- the city ordinance wants to keep the side streets clean and clear of trash. This summer may be hot and dry. Winter may be cold and snowy. Food and gas is expensive. In other words, don't, I repeat, Do NOT expect to be happy here in Gallatin county if you are not filthy rich.
It is tough right now, indeed, with the housing costs. Winters are harsh; and the place has grown. Do you live here now?
In my neighborhood in Bozeman any house that goes up for sale is snapped up by REIT's and rented out to college students. They have 8 or more people living in a 3 bedroom. Cars parked everywhere, parties, etc. That makes the neighborhood suck for families. Traffic sucks, over 90" of snow to shovel every winter.
The snow is a lot. Especially this last winter! The closer you get to MSU, there’s definitely more rentals. I do think there are a significant number of property owners locally who also rent out, but I am sure that the parties and parking are frustrating. Are you close to msu?
@@lifeinbozemanmt No, west end of town.
I did two road trips to Montana, the 2nd one just to Billings and then north into Canada. But the 1st one went all the way through into Idaho. One thing I didn't expect I'd fall in love with: Huckleberries! I'd never tasted them before and so I got as much huckleberry-flavored foods as I could while I was there. I was disappointed the 2nd time that huckleberries don't get as far east as Billings. Is Bozeman in the huckleberry zone?
That sounds amazing!! And yes, Bozeman is in the huckleberry zone indeed! Though don’t ask people to share their “secret spot” for picking ;) Where along your travels was your favorite?
Hukes are what the bears eat to fatten up for winter. If you don't want bears in your kitchen, stay the hell outta theirs. Bears have a hard enough life. I personally have more respect for bears than I do for idiot tourists that want to pet the buffalos in Jellystone Park.
I was born and raised there. When the army called I never went back to live. Went back every couple of years to visit my folks, but decided not to move back after retirement because of taxes and I hated the winters.
The winters can be brutal for sure. Thank you for watching! Do you like visiting still?
@lifeinbozemanmt I would like to. I still have a niece and nephew living there. Plus some of my old classmates might be interesting to see again although I didn't have many friends back then.
@@jimwhittaker5838 there are some of us who have been here quite some time - sounds like a visit would be fun!
Stumbled on this and another realtor vid, so handy how they leave the homeless camps out of the pretty backdrops.😅
Thanks for watching. I know it’s a difficult time for many in the valley, and it didn’t seem appropriate to me to discuss others hardship. The cost of living has had an effect on so many of us. Do you live in the area?
If I lived in the USA, I would definitely live in Montana.
Where do you live now?? I do love Montana… thanks for watching!
Sensitive to gunshots, but that is from living near Tucson, Arizona and traveling around Phoenix.
Been to Bozeman twice and Big Sky, but that was in the early 2000s, when it was probably a third of what it is now re cost of living.
Great video !!! I like the fact it was from someone who has lived there a while. Now I can actually pronounce the river that I rafted down.
😂 not planning to move there, pretty happy in my 350 k house (all mine yay, frick the bank) which will get you nothing there, but I will visit there again.
We have plenty of CA transplants here, and Tucson is a mini Phoenix, while Phoenix is a smaller version of LA, with a huge amount of traffic in the latter.
I'm glad you've enjoyed your visits - and thank you for watching my videos! I've heard Tucson is beautiful too - just too hot for me!
@@lifeinbozemanmt Definitely want try to sway my family to visit again in the dead of a Tucson summer for a road trip to that beautiful summer climate, even if it is for a week.
Keep up the great work and the best to you in the real estate listings and sales.
BTW winters are awesome here, but are too short. My weekend escapes are to the many sky islands in the vicinity where the elevation will drop the temperatures by 30 degrees. And there is actually snow with possible whiteouts in the sky islands during the winter.
Got snow in Tucson too a few times over the last 5 years.
@@MattTaylor-xx7gs Oh that is great to know - I would love to go check out those "sky islands" and take a run or two! We don't often make it down that way but I've also heard there's some great places to visit! I hope you do make it up this way again. Thank you so much for the kind words, as well.
Do you recommend it for a couple of single guys in their mid/upper 20s looking for some fun and hiking too?
Hi there! Thanks for watching! Really it depends what your interests are, but the whole area here around Bozeman is a great place for your professionals, ski enthusiasts, and people who just love the outdoors and mountains! The hiking is phenomenal.
The dating market here is garbage.
You throw a stone and you’ll hit another dude that hikes, fishes, hunts, ice climbs/rock climbs, skis/snowboards ect.
Lots of dudes, more then women.
The woman have the pick of the litter when it comes to guys like mentioned before.
So it’s a buyers market due to how much Bozeman pulls the outdoor people(which are mostly guys).
So if you’re a girl and you’re looking for a guy that does stuff, this is the place to come.
But all and all it’s a fun place to live. Just hard to find quality people.
If you don’t want to live in Bozeman, you won’t last long.
Expensive, crowded, no job industry and horrible pay, lack of dating pool and cost of anything in regards to in town activities.
The plus to that is most people that live here are here because they want to be.
65k salary avg for a 675k house. How does that work?
It’s definitely tough for many. And the number of homes in that price range aren’t many. Many purchased around here before these prices and have some equity to work with, or they are multiple income homes. Where are you watching from?
@@lifeinbozemanmt New Hampshire. We’re a double income with a 200k home on 6 acres. So we could never afford Montana if we wanted to. Oh well.

Houses are way over priced
The demand is high and the supply is low - so it’s tough for sure. Prices have gone up a lot in the last few years based on that demand. Where are you watching from?
Because the prices have been driven so high, most locals cannot afford to buy a house, anymore. People also don't like their communities to change. For these and other reasons, you will face local resentment. Please consider not moving here, because we cannot afford this. If you do, tread lightly, please.
It is a difficult thing for many, I agree. It's a beautiful place and the lifestyle here is desirable. Thank you for watching!
Sounds allot like Coeur D' Alene weather but it did not stop people from coming. Like stars in the night sky, they keep coming and now the culture, politics, economics, crime have all changed to become what they thought they left behind.
I can see the comparison for sure as I've visited CDA as well! People have discovered these beautiful places. Is that where you currently live?

Sadly most of the locals can't afford it anymore and I feel bad for them :(

Nice promotion for Bozeman. Love how you found all the open space, greenery, walking trails, and sunsets. Real estate agents are largely responsible for the high cost of living around here, making it virtually impossible to purchase even a starter home. And let's not minimze the dramatic increase in congestion and traffic, and the decline in healthcare. You forgot to mention how difficult it is to see a doctor, like waiting for months. The Gallatin Valley is being ruined quickly, thanks to promos like this.
Thank you for watching! While I appreciate your perspective, people are looking to move to Bozeman, and Montana as a whole, regardless of videos or Real Estate Agents. I take pride in being a resource for my clients, throughout the process, and/or before considering a move. My goal is for people to learn and ultimately people are seeking out more information, whether I provide it or not. It's been difficult, no doubt, with the growth here. Housing costs are dependent upon economic principles like supply and demand, much like other aspects of our economy, and I do touch on the downsides which I do believe actually help some folks decide not to move here - though I hadn't thought about the availability of medical appointments, so thank you for pointing that out. You must live in the area, too?
You’d think there’d be a high concentration of doctors considering how wealthy you need to be to live there.
Bozeman was the best in the 80's, when it was a cow town with Moo U.
Moo U! LOL love it. I grew up here in the 80s and can agree it was lovely then too, and much smaller than now.
We never had "Fire Season" until the enviro-nuts got control of the FS and shut down logging. "Logging bad - Wildfires good".
Growing up here, I do remember fire seasons going way way back, but I also know there have definitely been changes to the FS operations so I'm sure there are many factors contributing. Thank you for watching!

As Population grows in semi arid climates like Montana, the challenges of providing Water begin to grow as well.
The Headwaters of two great big River Systems seem to be straining the availability of the water that recently melts off early and fast.
The growing threats of Global Warming seem to dry up water supplies as population increase challenges the supply of water.

The nature of Rural areas that fill in with Subdivisions as Climate Migration chases people out of California, have turned our Agricultural area into an unaffordable region that is beginning to resemble LA.
I know a number of Real Estate Folks over here as well.....
@@danielhutchinson6604 that is super interesting, and I suppose not that surprising to me. It’s been a lot of growth very quickly in both areas, so even if I hadn’t heard it from other sources or from you, I would have at least suspected it. Thank you again!
The hunting thing really bothers me. I’ve never even gotten to put a deer in the back of my truck, let alone an elk. I’m super jealous 😢
I get the feeling it bothers you because you’d like to experience it yourself! I hear you. It’s a different lifestyle out here for some. Thank you for watching!
@@lifeinbozemanmt 💯
Missoula has a lot more to offer. Skiing, restaurants, shopping, wilderness. Less snooty.
Missoula is a beautiful area as well! I think the two areas are pretty close comparisons in a lot of ways. Do you live in Missoula now?
Only thing worse then a politician or a lawyer is a relator.
Oh goodness, I'm sorry you haven't had a great experience with real estate agents. I can only speak for myself, but I get so much joy and am grateful for every single client I am able to help to find the place where their next chapter is taking them! Thanks for watching.
A bunch of out of staters selling property to other out staters for a ridiculous mark up.
You might be a good person, but your occupation is the equivalent to a used car salesman. I’ll have zero sympathy when relators start losing their jobs in mass again when we hit another recession.
It’s all about the bottom dollar to relators. Quantity vs quality.
More Airbnbs and rich Californians and Coloradans.
Good riddance when it hits.
People are ignorant if they don't realize how cold it gets here.
Especially this week! I try to educate folks about what winter is really like - I’ve got two videos on that as well!
Tell us about Helena
Hi there! I actually have 3 videos all about helena. Have you seen those yet?
I used to love this place but as a barber in kalispell said it’s getting overrun with Californians………I guess I don’t need to go there anymore.
We’ve seen a lot of growth here for sure. And one of the states people are moving here from is California, indeed. In my conversations with folks, they’re looking to escape the fast paced life and what they’ve experienced and fall in love with Montana, for good reason! Do you live in Montana now as well? Thank you for watching.
No I do not, the problem is the people moving there will try and change it to be more like California and hey that’s not the Bozeman they were first drawn too! It just keeps happening wherever they go, can’t help themselves…….the term bozangeles is a fun one that I have heard, next they will want gun laws changed, the ev vehicles will start shorting out the power grid, useless windmills popping up……..everything that has ruined California.
I want a room to rent around $500-$600 monthly in Bozeman
That might be tough to find, honestly. Bedrooms typically run about double that - or homes/condos, around 1000/mo. Have you looked on the various rental sites?
Moo U, the utter university.
Lol
Make Bozeman, Montana again.
A sentiment shared by many here. I tend to believe that the growth has been difficult, but that the city has handled it as best they can given the rate of it. People have discovered our home town! Thanks for watching!
Bozeman is not a small town. There's too many people There's drugs homelessness expensive real estate and low wage jobs. Plus a lot of people aren't into 8 months of winter and traffic jams And high taxation.
Yeah Bozeman has grown a lot and certainly isn't for everyone. I know growing up here it was much smaller. Winters haven't changed too much though - and those of us who have lived here a while are used to it I suppose! Thank you for watching. Are you in the Bozeman area?
Always interesting when only the perceived positives of an area are covered while the side effects of the influx of people and money is avoided, dismissed or outright ignored.
My goal with this video was to cover the negatives / cons and reasons people are leaving. The influx of people was definitely covered. Is there something specific I missed? Thank you for watching!
There has got to be better places to live at in the state of Montana!
Depends what you’re looking for! What’s your favorite place?
@@lifeinbozemanmt Wherever you feel the most safe in the state of Montana!
@@futuretrunks5795 even with the growth that we’ve seen across the state, I still feel pretty safe just about anywhere. But I hear ya!
Great video! You are very well spoken. I like how you very professionally informed people about how California is basically ruining this place without actually saying it.
Appreciate the watch and the compliments! And you got me LOL on that one. :) Do you live around here as well?
Don’t move to Montana period. I lived there for 18 years. No good jobs, expensive, the people are crazy. My salary tripled when I left.
I was born and raised here and it certainly has changed and grown quite a bit. Where did you live in Montana??
Billings, sweet Billings…and a dash of Glasgow on the side. This is where my academic adventures began and where I tied the knot with my scholarly sweetheart. Spent nearly two decades taming the wild beauty of Montana. Then, my ex-dearly-beloved found a fresh thrill in a Butte bloke. So, I tipped my hat, bid adieu to the mountains, and resettled smack dab in the bustling heartland of the good ol’ US of A.
@@christophers8849 quite the story, thank you for sharing. Billings is a bit further east than the areas I know and are near and dear to me. But I appreciate you telling your tale and watching my channel!
I'd say us native Montanans miss you, but we don't. Can you drag the rest of the out of staters with you? Asking for a friend.
Good riddance. Stay in TN.
I've heard that Bozeman is heavily influenced by the loony californians moving there.
There’s certainly been an influx of people from other states - and California is certainly one of them. What I’ve personally found is that people moving here are looking for the more Montana way of life! Do you live in Montana? Thanks for watching!
@@lifeinbozemanmt I'm hoping to move my family and extended family to Montana, we all want a slower kind of life with less worry of violence.

I’m not entirely sure I understand what you mean - I’m purely looking to educate anyone who is looking to learn about the area, this particular video focusing on the negative aspects of the area. Can you elaborate?
Lots of Kalifornians moving into Bozeman
We’re getting folks moving here from all over, including California, indeed. It’s been quite the growth we’ve experienced. Thanks for watching!
Reverse psychology didn’t work. I’m moving there now.
😂 happens a lot! Where ya moving from?
Lol, I’m just ‘joshing’ ya! Hahahah. 🤣
We are full in Townsend stay away. Housing prices have doubled here in the last 2 years. Rentals are over $900 a month for a two bedroom apartment and you have to go to Helena or Bozeman for work.
I hadn’t heard that Townsend had experienced that much growth as well, but I can’t say I’m surprised, it’s a beautiful area with the lake too! I can understand the struggle though. Thanks for watching!

Not sure I understand your comment?
I'm confused. Is this Bozeman or Bozeangles, Montana? Refugees from L.A. are migrating and driving up real estate.
Bozeman Montana has a bit of a bozeangeles reputation for sure. Do you live in the area?
Lived in Bozeman 17years left in 2020! Average home 1.1 million., rent 2, 500 an up for two bedroom apartment . Low wages no benefits. 8 months of winter. Summers alot of smoke alot! Bozeman Sucks its just like Aspen or Vail or Jackson hole. Don't go.
The cost of living in Bozeman has gone up significantly, though I don't think costs were quite at that level in 2020. Thank you for watching! I hope you've found somewhere that's a better fit for you, also. :) Thanks!
Out of state people please stop moving to Bozeman you guys are ruining it here😭
There are so many new folks. Those I’ve encountered love it just the same as we do, it’s just hard to see the growth so fast I know. Do you live in bozeman?
Dont go 2 the FORD dealer never very crooked
Interesting, thank you for sharing! And thanks for watching.
Note well: Montana has the lowest teacher salaries in the US. The university also has some of the lowest national higher Ed salaries.
I do wish Montana paid teachers much better than they do! I have hopes that will get better over time (hopefully sooner than later!)

I lived in Bozeman and my father John Moss was the author of the 30 year master plan back in 1981. I visit once in awhile and there's no way I would want to live there now.
Plus I can not afford to live in Bozeman.
Too many wine bars and Californians there
Don't forget the craft breweries! ;) It has become a much more expensive place to live for sure. Thank you for watching!
Not rich, so…guess I’m out.✌
It’s tough to live here for sure. The prices have changed so much in the last few years. Where do you live?

Step 1. Move to a nicer neighborhood.
Step 2. Change the neighborhood to something bad 'cause that's what you're used to.
Step 3. Move again..... City folk should stay where they belong........ in Commyfornia
A lot of the folks I talk to don’t want to change a thing. They come here because they feel at home already. I know that’s not everyone, either, but figured it was worth mentioning. Thanks for watching!
Bro I just moved here out of choice don't recommend this to me TH-cam 😭😭
There are plenty of pros to go with the cons, I promise. Where did you move from?
Steps to moving to Montana:
Step 1: Reconsider and stop infecting our state
Yep - that’s how quite a few locals feel for sure! My goal is to educate before folks move. Thanks for watching!
@@lifeinbozemanmt I appreciate you educating them before they move here. I was shocked (and honestly pretty insulted) when I saw so many of them yelling at us for not cancelling school when the wind chill got to 45 below zero. That's just our way of life, among many other things we do differently than the rest of the country. It feels like, sometimes these transplants think we sent out invites, asking people to come here and show us how to do it better. Lol. Not the case, at all. We enjoyed our quiet, cold lives lol. Thanks for posting the video ❤️

Lot of trumpistas there right ? Or is that whitefish .
The state is pretty divided really, depending where you are, college towns, etc. But you'll find folks from both "sides" of the political spectrum even here in Bozeman. Thanks for watching!

Glad you found the information useful! I do love Georgetown Lake and the Philipsburg area is indeed beautiful too!
Bozeman has been severely Californicated. Sad.
It’s a beautiful area and people from all over have discovered it. It’s definitely been a change from what we’ve known growing up here. Do you live in the area?
I hear the wages for blue collar workers are good in that city
The wages overall are really starting to catch up to the cost of living all over the area, so yes, I would agree with that! Are you looking at a move?
Yeah where are you getting a FO,,,,,,, job
Jobs are becoming more plentiful, but still can be a challenge, certainly, with so many young people here and a pretty big tourism industry it’s a unique mix. Are you looking for something currently?

Love the video. Do bozeman people vote trump?
Thank you for watching! It varies, like many places. Bozeman tends to lean more left (slightly) being a university town, but you go a little more rural outside town and it leans more right. Montana is generally and historically a red state.
