And if you wanna do it in an even cooler way, have the sprite switch from normal to distressed when Ifu shows up.

Canonically it would make more sense for BF to be smug and unfazed since Lemon Demon set the stage for BF & GF to be immune to (detecting) threatening circumstances. They only tremble at thunder. I feel like, in that Monsters University way, that could be a cool nod in a mod with an opponent that occasionally has a note that sounds close enough in composition to thunder and gets a fear response from BF, maybe even rattling the notes as a mod gimmick.
