- India's relationships with its immediate neighbours is not of a transactional nature, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar told NDTV Wednesday evening. He pointed out it was New Delhi that started the 'Neighbourhood First' policy and "forged friendships" based on this outreach. "Sri Lanka is an example of the neighbourhood policy... the world talked about Sri Lanka but India helped..." Mr Jaishankar told NDTV.

Yes bro you raised very valid point, i don't know why such interviews should be limited to us only. Nothing against hindi, i am from MP i know hindi but i can understand concern of my brothers in other part of India, how will they get it.
English is not our language bit as long as we can't understand Tamil and our brothers can't from other parts can't understand Hindi, then only, English is left as option so nothing wrong in using that.
And we must be taught Tamil here from the very childhood and in same manner Hindi in other parts to understand ourselves in better way. This language barrier must be removed.
I hope soon we will talk to our brothers in their local language.
