My view is that the rest of the world will come to see that a steady, powerful India is the best antidote for the chaos the world is in. Somewhere Europe has to grow out of the mindset that Europe's problems are the world's problems but the world's problems are not Europe's problems. That if it is you, it's yours, if it is me it is ours.
If I may add: not Europe (the continent), but the EU goverments way of doing things. Europe is more than that, there is also Switzerland, UK and parts of Turkey, Russia and even Kasachstan belong to the Europian continent. There are 47 countries on the continent and only 27 are EU joined.
Still there are countries within the EU who don't much agree to that mindset. But clearly german goverment, with that representative you see here, is a prime example of claiming to solve world's problems.
For example: germany, so little on the globe, barely noticable CO2 footprint, shut down all nuclear power plants to import nuclear power from direct neighbor france at higher cost (and now france builds more plants), shut down coal power plants to buy coal energy from direct neighbor poland at higher cost, didn't investigated what happened with Nothstream and is now buying fracking gas from the US at higher cost (also for enviroment cost because the oil required for the ships via sea transport), meanwhile putting embargo on Russia only to buy russian gas from India at higher costs, meanwhile raising taxes on gas fuels and cars and promoting electric cars whose Lithium mining for the batteries in Africa alone is a worse eco balance tradeoff, meanwhile enhancing solar and wind power ignoring the outages for when the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow, meanwhile having thousands of wind mills that are technically fine but license expired when 20 years old and nobody can and will demontage them, meanwhile ruining Flora and Fauna by offshore windparks and cutting forests for wind- and solarparks, yes the forests that nature needs to photosynthesize CO2 into the O2 we breathe.
And what happened then? They introduced a tax on CO2 that automatically raises every year so it's not discussed every year.
All that to save more CO2 in 7 years than China blows up in a few days.
And meanwhile the probably highest tax frauder became chancellor (see cum and ex), who said during the C-times on a market square to the people "36 million experimentational rabbits can't be wrong", meaning the already vaxxed humans, later famous for quotes like "yesterday a baker told me that he doesn't know how to pay the bills and so I didn't knew how to make a sad look about it", told that sentence grinngin and smiling in reply to somebody asking in a talk show.
The foreign minister you see in this video here said things like "let's end this europe, together", "energy is saved in the electricity web", "nigerian toilets based on smell can be build outside the cities", "germany is a strong country, and I want to change that", didn't read her own biography that others wrote for her, faked her CV about having studied in England.
Meanwhile minister for inner affairs travels to other countries and instead of solving german problems vows for an election in the state of Hessen, but says if she fails (which she did greatly) she just stays where she is, famous for quotes like in an interview "did you already lied today?" said while laughing "no".
Economy minister makes deals with Quatar but fails, famous quotes "I didn't cleaned up at home, ran out of milk, yesterday ate cerelas with water, no shit", when asked what his wife thinks he replied "oh shes not there, she doesnt want to see me immiserate", later said he wants a world where you can drink water out of the toilet (ignoring toilet and washbowl water already come from the same pipe for like forever). When once asked in a talk show what he would tell insolvent companies he said "they are not automatically insolvent, they only stop producing", yes still the same minister for economy.
Then a health minister with a dentist quality of a Berlin subway toilet, responsible for the strict, weirdest and longest "measures" during C-times was once lobbyist in a scandal with med giant Bayer to promote a colesterine reducing drug that then got called back after to many people died, still became lobbyist during the swine flu and health minister during C.
And after those few examples we haven't talked about Berlins former state minister faked her doctor degree in 37 cases, said if thats proven she will resign, after proof she said "oh I can stay minister without Dr. degree", which (faked) one put her in that position in the first place.
Oh and because germany consists of 16 states, each with their own regulations, laws, schoolar systems etc., they also have their own state votes. In early 2020 an election in the state Thuringia got revoked, yes, a democratic voting of a local state got to be (quote of chancellor Merkel in video call from south Africa) "result is unforgivable and has to be reverted".
Okay now I wrote a bit more text than "if I may add Europe is not EU" and still only scratched the surface.
And here we see Baerbock speaking surprisingly better english than german but starting with "we are not naive".
If you read to this point you might have guessed fellow reader: yes I'm german myself and you are right Manik: it's SAVAGE, but even worse than the (mainstream) media tells.

In international issues you can't be honest 100%, it's like when police is taking you, everything you say can be used against you. She is way less naive than in the past and tries to make a good difference in the world. Anything else is too much to ask from a politician 😂.

Blinken comes across surprisingly well here. I say ‘surprising’ because the foreign policy of the USA is stupid, aggressive, destructive. They provoked Russia because they thought (wrongly) that they could reduce its strength. They have done the opposite. But why feel threatened by another country being strong?
I don’t get the Ukrainian’s question re: nuclear. Russia is not for a moment threatening the use of nuclear against Ukraine.

While JS and Blinken made their arguments well, her contributions seemed more aligned with supporting the US narrative rather than adding substantive value to the debate.

Blinken's words at 9:06 - "if you're not at the table in the international system, you're going to be on the menu" is exactly the issue- the west has not moved past the idea of creating menus to carve up and exploit other peoples, to begin with (and let's not pretend there is any room for a seat at their table as equals). This is the same mentality that produced the Treaty of Tordesillas (carving up the world into two for Spain and Portugal to conquer), the Berlin Conference (carving up Africa for Europeans to conquer), the carving up of India and southeast Asia, and of concessions in China, the Sykes-Picot Agreement (carving up the Ottoman Empire between France and Britain), and the Monroe Doctrine (establishing the whole of the western hemisphere as the USA's "backyard").

At the end at Q&A, some questions were predetermined. Baerbock and Blinken tried to get their agenda across without letting the Indian minister speak. Even the interviewer was in on it. Of course the Indian saw through it and at the end added his opinion although they didn't want him to. What a fng shitshow.. In a nutshell, Baerbock is Blinkens puppy and hats off to the Indian guy.

I think in these times every country should look for the best option it has to satisfy and safeguard its citizens.
Based on that the response by the Indian External Affairs Minister was impeccable.
The German External Affairs Minister also responded properly for the questions she was asked.

Anthony blinken is a gentleman. He has done lot gor india US relations.
I really like the way Anthony Blinken speaks. He is always calm, collected and composed and very articulate. Jai Shankar of course is phenomenal. He states India’s positions very clearly and bravely. The German foreign minister was also articulate and put forth her country’s position very well. Kudos to all these great speakers.

Tony Blinken seems to have aged more in the last 4 months than he has in the last 4 years. More strength to him to see through the next few months. Hopefully he will be back on stage with his friend S Jaishankar next year as Secretary of State for the next US Administration.
Jaishankar is what a competent career diplomat looks like. He is diplomacy personafied

India can full fill all its requirements from outside of the West, we can buy oil, military, nuclear, pharmaceutical, you name it, from outside of the Western alliance or manufacture it at home, yes there may be some quality considerations, but we are catching up soon.
