    I love cebu blue. Started with a few small rooted cuttings. Now I have a full plant and it’s starting to climb a second stacked moss pole. Leaves are getting bigger and bigger. Such an easy, quick growing plant. Love your videos. Thank you!

    Mine started as a 3 leaf cutting a year ago and now I have 2 full pots. One climbing and one trailing too. I also sold a couple small pots to recoup my cost since the 3 leaf one cost a ridiculous $30 but I had to have it. It’s one of my favourite plants.

    I got a 6 inch pot Cebu blu in the summer. I had to repot it mid August and I have since propagated it twice and just potted up the first propagation. I did propagate in water and am giving those to my sister. I think I will be doing my Micans soon as it is starting to beget leggy. Cebu blue and the moonlight are by far my favorite plants in my collection.

      Hi Cathy! I have found that the best way to purchase these is in online plant groups. I am a member of a few on Facebook ( I only use that social media for my plant groups 😉) search your area for a house plant Buy/Sell/Trade group for your location! It’s a fun hobby and you can generally meet really great people who love plants too. They also have big box store plant groups that let you know where special plants come in for less. We have had cebu 6” baskets come into my area randomly for less than $16. However, be very vigilant about pests when buying from these stores. Quarantine and treat them right when you get home.

    I looked at all my nursery plants (the three I have near me) for this plant and one had never heard of it, the other two were 'sold out' as soon as they arrived. I don't like the size vs price on Amazon plus I really want to see the plant; So I did find a nursery with 4 of them. They are HUGE. They have about 4-6 long stems with very wide leaves. I would need to grab a cart to roll it to my car.
    They need poles of some kind to hoist them up. Or I suppose they can lay down on what table they are on. These plants are all $45.00. I stared and stared at them trying to decide....I went home and watched your video and a few others and none of these videos show the plant that looks like the ones in my nursery.
    The sign at the nursery has Cebu Blue (Epipremnum Pinnatum) just like here, so I guess the ones I saw were mature, a few years old. (?) I'm thinking of going there today to bring one home before they are all gone. Thanks for this info. If it decides it doesn't like it in my house and commits suicide I'll try to save a stem, leaf, before it does that to propagate it.
    Thanks for this info. It's really a Blue mystery.

    • @em5140
      @em5140 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@EverythingPlants oh man, it’s been a journey 😆 my first two tries were just cuttings. The first cutting I bought was in moss, and I discovered the roots had rotted when I received it. I saved it in leca, but then I apparently put a millimeter too much water and the roots rotted again a month or two later. I rooted my second cutting fine and eventually put them both in soil (tiny 2” pot). They were ok for a while but then they started getting yellow leaves. I eventually bought a very full 4” pot online, the roots died on that one after I went up half a pot size to add my existing cuttings to it. 🙄 the seller was so kind and sent me a new pot, I haven’t touched it and it’s doing fine lol. I have a whole prop box full of Cebu blue right now with the saved cuttings. Nervous to combine them with the existing plant but I’ll have such a nice full pot when I do. Wish me luck 🤣

      @@EverythingPlants I've used the Gorilla Glue version of the flex seal tape on a few planty projects. Mostly for sealing the drainage holes in decorative pots so I can use them as reservoirs for leca set-up. After watching this video, I'm thinking about using it to waterproof a bamboo stick. I'm SOOO glad I saw your video this evening. I am transferring my Philodendron Pink Princess from soil to leca. I've already removed all of the soil from the roots and was dreading having to put her on a sphagnum moss pole. I'm taking a break before tackling the rest of that project and when I opened my TH-cam app this video was literally at the top of my feed. What are the odds⁉️🤷‍♀️ Now I'm going to wrap up some burlap for her to grab on to.
