Tunis is definitely on my bucket list as my grandfather was born there. So glad to see that the Bardo museum has reopened. Do you have any plans to see El Jem or Bulla Regia?
I have already visited El Jem. That video will be out on February 11. I won't get to Bulla Regia. I am visiting Douz and several other cities over the next couple of days. Thank you for watching!
For the most part, the people have been amazing! Friendly and kind! Cheesecake San Sebastian? I could eat it every day. That combination of sweet and salty goodness is so fantastic! I COULD eat it every day, but I've told myself I get to have it one more time before I leave. I must choose wisely, when I partake!
Great video Richard! The view from the rooftop that overlooked the Medina was amazing and really showed off the area. I can hardly believe this was all filmed in Africa. The Medina area of Tunisia doesn't look anything like what I was expecting. The mint tea with pine nuts, the mosaics, the market area....it all looks so interesting. Thanks for the hard work to share another very well constructed video.
I certainly appreciate it! Saying this is hard work, however, is stretching the definition. I love the travel and it's through the camera that I fully enjoy an area! All that being said, Tunis and its various elements are amazing!
You sound like me- I'm 66, I've started to travel solo, which I love and, far from home (Montreal). Planning to go to Tunisia for the first time next spring. At least I can get by in French which should help.
That is awesome! Everyone should get out into the world, alone or not! I hope you have a fantastic time in Tunisia. I have several other videos from Tunisia that you might want to watch, before you go.
Thank you so much for this video. Hearing someone talking about your country in such a positive way makes me feel so proud of my origins and my beautiful country.
That is wonderful of you to say! It makes me so happy to hear that the people from an area that I feature, appreciate the work that I did. I have plenty more from Tunisia to come! I have loved my time here.
Thank you! If I am not mistaken, the name of the shop is Ed-Dar. Google Maps says the address is: 8 Rue Sidi Ben Arous. Additionally, you can ask people in the medina for directions to a good viewpoint. Most will be happy to help.
Thanks for the inspiration to go to Tunis.
I admit that it takes a bit longer to get comfortable here, but once you settle in, this is a phenomenal country to visit!
Come fare per sentirlo in francese oppure in Italiano??
Purtroppo mi dispiace non posso seguirlo bene, perche non capisco l'inglese
What a wonderful vlog, thanks for sharing your experience and how beautiful to hear from guests about the country where I’m coming from 🇹🇳
