Siren Failure - Klaxon CS8 - Siren B - London Road

I cycled off to siren B on bank holiday Monday (7th May) to hopefully record the siren before this one goes too. Unfortunately, it failed to activate at 10AM for whatever reason. The 3 main reasons are either: Broadmoor no longer tests their sirens/this siren on Mondays, this siren had a fault, or it did not sound because of Wokingham fair (about a 1-minute walk from the siren) happening on the same day.

NONE of those sirens should be gone/going, just because no incident has happened yet doesn't mean it won't and if it did, screw all the automated texting etc, the first and best way to get the message across was these sirens as not everyone has a phone or would see it on tv. I'm not just saying this as a siren enthusiast, but also as someone with common sense lol but seriously whoever's idea/decision it was to decomission these sirens clearly wasn't taking everything and everyone in to account 😠

hate the electronic ones. They should get someone to restore these sirens and keep these. I prefer these ones.
@@supertrinigamer Exactly. Variants of these type are still made by Klaxon so hopefully it's one of those newer models they'll put in place.

@@supertrinigamer yes pretty sure they do still make the two toned carter type siren but they don't do the cs8 model in this video anymore. I've not found any other video of cs8s doing high low apart from these ones in Broodmoor 👍

because of THAT ONE FAIL it got removed

All they needed to do was fix these sirens but instead they take a crap on them.
