Thank you for your informative video. Some of my classmates tend to poo-poo the cleaning process. I feel there is a bond with your weapon, whether a fan, knife, sword etc. I find respecting and cleaning your weapon calming.
Hi Sensei Bilek, Congrats on your newly acquired sword! I have worked on my own swords and some friends swords in the past, but I do not think I am really qualified to post sword repair videos. I would recommend looking for videos by actual metal-workers or sword-smiths to get tips on sword repair. I wish you the best in your training! Stay safe and healthy!
Hi Andrew, your videos are educational. Thanks. I just bought a used Long quan jian from a classmate. There seemed to be some darkish spots on the blade front and back....more towards the tip of the sword (1/3 of the blade). I just watched your maintenance video which is very helpful. So, will the oil cleaning process remove the spots? I haven't tried it yet, hope to research further first. Hope to see your reply soon. Thanks again.

Thank you for the comment! I agree, it is very calming. I responded here: th-cam.com/users/livedbYRCG2ABso?feature=share
Thank you for the information. I was given an old sword. The blade is loose in the handle. Is there a repair tutorial you can make?

i've had a similar problem with my sword. I never touch the thing, but a bolt by the handgrip just never wants to stay tight.
