It’s crazy how Sony can beat a mini led tv with its full array led panel in terms of picture quality. I think it all comes down to the image processor rather than the panel itself, and XR processor is still a beast.
I will confirm this when I pick up the qn85c today. I got the x90l a week ago and was disappointed by the color and washed out image in Hdr. It was fine in most bright Hdr and Sdr content, but completely fell apart in darker Hdr content, especially content with black bars.
Sony can't beat shit in this comparison. I own the QN86C from this year and completely crap on the Sony and LG models from this year. The ultimate local dimming with 0 blooming and the 10 bits native panel (12 bits floating point) alongside the amazing contrast with pure blacks, the AI HDR for SDR content, the option to choose Dynamic tone mapping between Static and Advanced, the lowest input lag on a TV in game mode ever, etc make this an amazing TV, especially for gaming in HDR were Sony s$ks balls.🥴
Color volume is better on the Sony Bravia X90L, it showed shades of colours in the green grass that the Samsung QN85C just skipped, while staying natural and detailed. Great performance.
This is not what the qn85c looks like with proper settings, plus they're functionally the same in color volume and gamut. The qn85c actually has an edge in in color though, since it uses a quantum dot filter, so some colors will just look deeper.
@@tylerthere5832 They all have a Quantum dot filters. Did you think Sony don't because they market it under "Triluminos Display" ? Sony was first to market with Quantum dot. So much for the so called "edge in colour"
This is not how proper calibrated Samsung for vivid rooms looks jimmy. This video is biased towards Sony and by just bumping up the color volume in the Sony TV you got fooled like a kid. There are no comparisons between these 2 models since the Samsung is better in every aspect possible by simply being a true black panel with 0 blooming due to the ultimate local dimming feature from Samsung this year. One is a mini led and the other one a local dimming average TV with nothing special, especially when it comes to gaming.🥴
@ADISTOD3MUS I can't speak on the European version of the samsung, but I did try both the x90l and the qn85c, and they look more similar than different. Sony has the edge in color accuracy out of the box, but it's horrible in dark scene content. Unfortunately though, the US qn85c has an Ips panel, and I did notice a lot of blooming and lifted blacks in difficult scenes.
It doesn't look better by any change and if you think that this is how a properly calibrated Neo mini led panel from 2023 looks you have no idea what you are talking about . Biased video with bumped colors on the japanese brand for fanboys to keep dreaming.🥴
i booked x90L after comparing all the competitive TVs, and sony x90L was winner. after that i had a choice of buying LG Oled c3 around the same range which was slightly better than sony x90 but i am afraid of pixel burn in Oleds so booked x90L
Sony has its flaws but overall depth of color, contrast and motion is almost unmatched. Even the full array non mini led screens hold up to some quality OLED that are thousands more
HELP! What TV do you think is better? Sony X90L or the Samsung QN85B? They're priced close right now ($1,999 for the Sony X90L and $2,299 for the Samsung QN85B)
QN85C is a high end TV from this year that crap on this Sony model in every way possible. This video is biased towards Sony fanboys and a proper calibrated Neo mini led TV from this year doesn't look like this in your home and if you didn't realize that well, I guess you are oblivious when it comes to TV's, especially ones from this year.🥴
I have the 85" QN85C. Love it

Because dude who shot the video chose some mode like Vivid on Samsung. Bullshit

Sony is the king 👑 of tv
I would opt for X90L any day because of its image processing and motion.
Please compare QN90B vs X90L
Compare samsung qn90c vs Sony x90l
Is the X90L . 85 inches is excellent for ps5 gaming or not؟
More comparatives maybe. A live video 🕵️📺
Which one is better samsung neo qled 55QN85B
and sony 55X90L
Sony 55X90L
what's the setting? how come a full array looks better than mini LED
Factory Picture Mode and Same Mode.
@@Thawutweeradon’t compare them in the default settings, instead compare them both in filmmaker mode
@@trviis Sony doesn't do film Maker mode. They are filmmakers, their processor focuses on that. So I guess put it in Cinema mode LOL.

I’m going for the Sony 90L this thanksgiving
Sony for the image processing if you watch a lot of lower resolution content.
0:56 look at the glass details and color, x90l huge win!
QN85C has a briliant picture!! i dont belive in this comparision..
Sony is better i have seen live videos
How is this compared to x90k
X90K is last year's model of X90L.
LOL@@reonlim
The funny thing that xn85c is the same price as x85l in my country plus you get a tablet s9 with samsung for free
Samsung qn85c ? Seriously? 🤔 Why not qn90c..
qn85c is mini led x90l just full array
They are the same price qn90c is way more money then the other 2 tvs
