Hey Food Box HQ Family! Today we're unboxing, taste testing and giving you an in-depth review of BistroMD.
BistroMD is a prepared meal delivery service that specializes in diet meals, specifically formulated by doctors and dieticians for weight loss purposes. Quick note though-this is not a lose weight overnight type of thing. We've reviewed this food box before and I've even tried BistroMD a long time ago when I was in college (and DID lose weight). Special thanks to BistroMD for sending us this box to share our review with you guys :).
What I particularly like about BistroMD is that not only do the meals taste good and there is a lot of variety to choose from, but they also allow me to choose a plan and customize it to my needs. I wouldn't want to only eat BistroMD meals breakfast, lunch, and dinner so I can customize it to my specific lifestyle.

I haven't eaten these yet but have tried others. These are attractive to me because the saturated fat and cholesterol are much lower than competitors. Like half or more type lower.
The fact that we’re putting the food in the microwave does that take away from the healthy value🦋

Hello! Actually over in NJ but love Chicago! It sounds like Factor Meals might be a great option for you. They're one of my favorite pre-made meal delivery options for more "keto" meals (low-carb, high protein) and they have great add-ons like wellness shots, snacks, etc. Not cheap but they definitely are good. For specifically weight loss though, BistroMD is a great quick option. I used it in college for that reason!
Clean Eatz is more afforable, better tasting and they ship to you. I tried it pre-COVID and I am going to order again next month.
I think a lot of ppl are either on vacation right now or broke 😩

Freshly is disgusting. I threw every meal in the trash after I realized I left them in freezer for weeks.
I do freshly twice a month. As a truck driver who starts early and gets home around 4ish to 5ishpm the last thing I want to do is prepare, cook and do dishes. I just pop a freshly in the microwave and life is good 👍

Bistro md didn’t work for me loaded loaded with salt.
Not edible for most of the entrees I threw them in the trash. No flavor, dry meat and overly priced. They shouldn't qualify this as food. I could force myself to eat any of it and honestly, I am not a picky eater.

that's a lot of pork, what if you're Muslim or Jewish?
The pork medalions were dry and tasted a bit like I would imagine cat or dog food to taste. Not tastey, bland and a lot of salt. I tossed them in the trash after I tried a few. All nasty in my opinion.
