you forgot at 6:27 , 6:28 at the top there is lever with yellow letters - operate when system is off and lowered. its for setting maximum lifting height for the 2 main hydraulic levers , clockwise is for lower and counterclockwise for higher setting.
Hi again, I finally got a chance to make a video demonstrating the standard height kickout I missed in this video. You can see that video here: th-cam.com/video/ZyVytlbGLO8/w-d-xo.html
I have two books for this tractor. The first is the owners manual, Deutz calls it the "Instruction Book" I see a few websites such as Jensales and Yesterdaystractors selling them between 20-40 dollars right. Try searching "d4506 owners manual" and they should be in the first few results. The other book I picked up on eBay I think. It is the Deutz Ersatzteil-Nummernliste ( Spare Parts / Nos. List) PN 500 0637 It is just diagrams and tons of part numbers. I like it for a reference since it is filled with exploded view diagrams which helps me figure out things fit together. Other that that it doesn't contain any service information. Let me know if you have any more questions! Thanks
Interesting - I have not had any issues like that. I would definitely check to make sure the hydraulic oil level isn't under or over filled, also if the filter is clogged it may contribute. I just posted a video of checking the oil here: th-cam.com/video/PGdh2EEVBA8/w-d-xo.html If you do resolve the jumping around issue could you post a reply so we can all learn? Thanks!
I just posted a video of checking the oil here: th-cam.com/video/PGdh2EEVBA8/w-d-xo.html The manual states to use the same oil as used in the engine. I wasn't aware of this for awhile and had just topped up with standard hydraulic oil from Tractor Supply Company with no issues. Thanks!
Hi there! The hydraulic pump is direct driven from the engine and mounted to the left side near and under the alternator. If you go to this video on cleaning the fins and pause it at the 2:53 mark you can see part of the pump in the bottom of the frame. Right below the alternator. Have a good one!

You are correct - I did miss that part completely! Thank you for making a comment on it so others can get the details. Much appreciated!
