It is not intended to tell a story. I didnt edit it that way. I wanted to relate sound to motion. So each and every cut you see was picked for a reason.
Programs I used: Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 / After Effects CS5 For those of you who find the video too long for one sitting, I dont blame you at all lol. 15 min is kinda visually exhausting. Time to complete: Id say total "just editing", not picking out clips or rendering/post work, bout 200 hours. Over the span of many days :)
Id also like to point out that there are no copyright infringements because I used public domain trailers for video footage and permission from song artist. Thanks to all involved in the production and creation of the movies used as well.

This is the style that TH-cam Rewind should've been. If I had a ton of money in the budget, I'd hire the shit out of amazing editors to compile the best of TH-cam in their own sections. I'd pay musicians to remix an album of the year's music. All made by and for people that use this platform primarily. I've been hunting this video down just to say that, because it's had a creative impact on me in terms of collage work but I lost track of the name and link to it a long time ago.
Can you imagine different teams working on different music styles and themes, to compile and create a whole new genre of mashups and synchronized art.

It’s been under copyright review quite a few times. Previously in the TH-cam system, every copyright review would drop your view counter to zero, and not restore it once the review was over.

There is actually a 2nd part called "Dub War" just search on his channel all his vids are awesome! Usually true skill/talent combined with hard work is underrated on youtube. Also he had to reupload his video a couple of times due to copyright issues :(.

Crazy talent, I am sitting here with my mouth hanging open wondering what did I just see and how many more times can I watch it. Without a doubt the best produced video I've seen on TH-cam, possibly ever. Just wow, you rock.
Probably took 100's of hours to compile the clips to match the music, throw your cards down if you think it's so easy. I watch/listen to this and a few others of his to get me through my days. He keeps the rythem goin and the theme fuckin solid. Fuck yeah
