Can we all just agree that Brandi's voice does not get the credit it deserves AND 'The Joke' and 'The Story' - should easily be include in the top 50 songs of all time - do you think another artist could acclaim that they have 2 in the top 50 - I cannot think of another - sorry - but Brandi is a seriously underrated TALENT

What an incredibly amazing cover of a very difficult song to sing for any performer but Joni Mitchell herself! Brandi is the total Bomb! She nailed it big time! Even with a similar vibrato as Joni used and sang with! Wow!

I can never comprehend why anyone would rather forgo experiencing the fullness of an amazing event by doing it through a little toy... But Lindsay, in this case, I sincerely & deeply appreciate your sacrifice.
@vegansam - I've seen Brandi in concert #36 times, I don't record them all, but do record some so I can re-live and re-enjoy. I've also mastered the art of watching the show happen live ABOVE my phone. So it ruins nothing for me, only preserves the memory!

However, no matter how much you've done that, the fact that you have to keep the subject in the frame, & not move, would prevent you from immersing yourself completely in the event... But since you've seen Brandi a mere XXXVI times, I'd presume you could even experiment with closing your eyes, & 'seeing' how that feels...after all, she's 'electric' enough to deeply affect even someone in an induced coma! ;-)

How to sing a Joni Mitchell song not like Joni Mitchell with her intonations and stresses...not an easy feat !! For me she did not do it a 100% justice and oversang it in places...sorry I love Brandi but parts of this were oversang for me
