Woot! Now its time to try the back 2 when you feel safe to do so. Great progress. Now she associates positive relief with you.❤ So happy she's coming around. ❤
Hi @Falani38 When I get one like this, loaded at both ends, I go very slow and only train one leg at a time. I won't try "the two" I will try one, get it really good and go on to the next. I started with her left front, then the right front. When both of those are really good I will go to the left back, etc. Notice when I picked up her right front she started unloading the right rear. Before she would kick whoever picked up the right front with the right rear. Until she stops thinking about doing that I will stay with the fronts.
Basically, all I knew is she was a pregnant gaited mare at risk of taking the hell ride to Mexico. They had no history on her and she was sold loose lot, no rider. Presumed to be unbroken to ride. I had no clue what kind of baggage she had and she has a ton, would I do it again? Yes.
She is absolutely beautiful! It is wonderful to see her eating calmly while you are handling her, trusting you won’t harm her. Very nice!
We are learning to trust each other.
It brought me joy to see her progress today.
That makes me so happy! Thanks for following her journey.
Love Bluebelle and love you! thank you for the good work you are doing.
Hi @AndiLovesMolly, That is such a sweet comment. Thank you. I will be uploading what we did with her today later tonight.

3:40 I'm so touched! ❤What a huge progress!
Thank you, Sundae. When this horse gifted me with that trust it felt like I won the lottery.
I'm enjoying this series. Did you think she would be such a tough nut when you got her? How did you choose this one?
